Dear Button Control users: There was a bug in the Button Control version of FS2Crew NGX that affected the Google Map. I just fixed it. Version 1.5 of the Button Control version is now available. Please login to your FS2Crew account and click "Completed Orders". Voice Control remains at Version 1.4. No changes to it. Best,

Hi, I found a minor glitch in version 1.4. When I have enough fuel in the center tank at the end of a flight, and I have the APU started at the gate, I see both the center and wing tanks on. I'm no expert by any means, but I thought only one tank needs to be on, and if the center tank is on that means the wing tanks ought to be off. Please see screenshot below:

Hi Bryan, Google Maps is still not working. Flying in this moment from EDDT to LPMA with 737-800 button control. 1.4 installed correct, but plane not visible on google maps. Firewall is windows firewall with Win7. Any idea? Greetings Frank Jones

Hi Just wondering, I have 5.1 sound and I checked my set up to see that speakers are set up and they are, ie I click front left it plays a sound in the front left click center plays sound in centre and it is all correct. My question is,when using fs2crew all sound from FO and captain comes out of the right speaker where as all other fsx sounds come out of all 5.1 speakers. Is this how it should be for fs2crew or is something wrong with my set up?? I am using version 1.4 Thanks

Hello, FO goes through electrical startup procedures. I can see his progress. After moving APU start switch to "start" low oil pressure illuminates, but EGT doesnt move and APU doesnt start and no (APU) power. I can see FO continuing though as if there is. Any ideas? I reinstalled NGX c updates after installing FS2crew. I also have EZDOCK, and am unable to startup in 2D though I hate to think that is the issue. Any help is appreciated thanks, Steve

Just a quick question: With FS2Crew you command flaps 1, flaps 5, flaps 10, gear down and then after that another command for flaps 15 (correct?). I did my MCC on the 737NG and we would select flaps 1 -> flaps 5 -> About to intercept G/S -> Gear down + Flaps 15 -> After passing flaps 15 speed go to final flap setting + checklist.. Why is it different in FS2Crew and can I change it? Thanks!

Bryan, think I read somewhaere you are aleady looking at update 1.4, if so could I again ask you to include a key shortcut to bring up the Briefing Panel so we don't have to slide the main panel back and forward. thanks for all your hard work, greatly appreciated. Willie G

First of all, thank you for a wonderful add on.I fly online with Vatsim and I have GSX full version and it works a treat. 1. After the before taxi check list is finished I'd like to hear the the crew explaning the emergency check list to the pax. 2. After the "OK to clean up" the Hostess will say :Ladies and gents please remain seated until the plane has stopped ...etc,standard message of all Airlines. 1&2 should come on automatically without pressing any button. 3. Hi Brian, Just wondering if we could have the Boarding Sounds (great sounds tho) attached to the FA/Cabin Volume so it can be adjusted to suit. When the cockpit door is closed cabin sounds are mostly inaudible. thanks IM

Hi Bryan, I know you are putting the finishing touches in v1.4 beta, but I noticed two things on my end and wanted to see if they need to be addressed. 1. Upon runway entry, the first officer does not push the traffic button to allow traffic to be displayed on ND. I thought he was supposed to, or he did so in earlier versions, I can't really recall. I'm not sure if it's even SOP, but I could have sworn I have seen traffic enabled, along with the weather radar, in real life situations upon runway entry. Perhaps I am wrong, and it is not put on because it would be a distraction. 2. Is the copilot supposed to turn off the flight director switches after landing, …

I personally find it very annoying to have to go all the way into my doors page on my FMC to open side doors etc for catering trucks. Is there an option to have the FA not just open the cargo doors and main entrance but instead all of the doors? FWD and AFT left/right and cargos?

Hello there, version 1.3 user here. I have noticed that whenever I use NADP 1 as the takeoff method (I never use NADP 2), I never get offered the option to call for a roll mode at 400 feet. Instead, I have to reach over and manually press the heading select button on the MCP. I'm positive this call is on the iFLY edition, and for some strange reason, with earlier versions of the FS2crew for NGX I could have sworn I'd seen the heading select button enable itself on climbout, without any pre-arming on the ground by me. When it comes to pre-arming, I only prearm VNAV, and LNAV if I choose to use that as a roll mode, but the point I want to make is I never pre-arm hea…

What triggers the FO annunciation "Localiser alive" and "Glideslope alive"? These seem to happen well before they actually become active during approach and sometimes more than once. Pushback - changing the settings in the config panel doesn't seem to do much which is a problem because the pushback is going too far and I'm ending up off the tarmac and on the grass when leaving some gates eg from the YSSY domestic terminal and the YSCB terminal. I also have a problem with the sequence of Vnav, Lnav etc after takeoff but I notice there is another thread on that topic so I will post there if i still have issues after reading through it. I have discovered an issue with Avliasoft EFB when used with FS2Crew on a network configuration.As you all know, Simconnect is used by PMDG NGX as well as EFB, There is a chance that you can experience what is called a Stack/Hash error, which will cause FSX to CTD. It is easy to blame FS2Crew for this error as it can occur, mostly during a checklist flow. The cause of this is loading a saved EFB flightplan. Always load a freshly made flight plan in EFB and this issue will not occur. I have seen these errors before when a saved EFB has been used in conjunction with the NGX,. Hi all. All weekend I can't seem to get past the long flow before the preflight checklist. The fault modules are either an API.DLL or an MSCVS8.dll Each time the crash happens during the FO setting the LDG ALT on the pressurization panel. I noticed that while part way throught the setting, the FO starts flicking other switches while the LDG ALT dial is still turning. That's when I get a Windows has stopped working crash. All has been perfect until this weekend. I only managed to get one flight done but even that one crashed during shutdown flow. Any ideas?

I am having a few issues with FS2C mainly to do with the FO not performing some of his tasks as per his flow, but I will start with this one. The manual refers to having FS2C control the doors but I can't find any mention of how the doors are closed - at least not after doing a search for "doors" and "close doors". I also come up short when I do the same search of the tutorial. Any assistance appreciated, thanks Bruce

I can't get Command A to engage the auto pilot. I see in the tutorial note 73. "applying pressuring on the control column" so does this mean I have to engage with, in my case, a neutral stick position. This is a great add-on btw but some random discourse between the Capt and FO would really make it for me. "How are the wife and kids"....that sort of thing.

Hello, Thanks for this great add-on. I would like to ask a couple of things. Would it be possible for the FO not to turn the seat belts sign off after takeoff? As at the moment I think that they are turned off a little too early. Also could an startup option of EXT power only (without AC or AS) be added? Many Thanks

Hi Brian, It seems like you can get the NGX to do anything you want it to do, within reason of cause thanks to the SDK and your hardwork. However any chance you can get the FO to do step climbs and increase the pressurisation altitude selector on the overhead panel to what is set into the FMC and or MCP after a step climb is executed. Great to get him to say something like e.g. FL370 SET. thanks IM

Hi,On my installation of the FS2Crew Button Control version, the F/O does not turn the APU bleed air on during his normal engine shutdown flow. The F/O correctly resets the PACKS and all after engine cutoff, but leaves the APU bleed air in the 'off' position. I believe this is incorrect.Thank you.-John Thomas

Hi Bryan, some weeks ago you solved the FSPassengers Issuse with sending me your PDF. I followed exactly the instructions you write and after that FSPassengers was working fine. Yesterday i bought and installed ActiveSky2012. After installing it and starting a new flight now the old FSPassengers sssuse (black mini report window and constantly circling mouse indiciator) was back. i think active sky has installed a new gauge too, this ist also black window in the 2D Cockpit). Any idea? it does not happen with uninstalled FS2crew, only with installed FS2crew.
