Button Control Version

I just purchased the software a while ago, install it, selected the button option, started FSX... clicked on the gauge, the panels came up, the departure briefing started and I'm at about 10,000 feet and the captain is still giving the departure briefing, it ends and start again non stop!I can't select anything else, annoucements or anything just this terrible non stop loop. Very dissapointed :(

Hi allThanks for a great product, this is my first encounter with FS2Crew and i like it a lot.I have been using voice and now want to try buttoncontrol.The fs2crew website i apperently down, and therefore i cant see how to configure the two buttons needed,Will someone please help me with how to configure theese two buttons.Thank you!

Hi!First off, thank you for this amazing product! This is by far the best FS2Crew so far.But I have a few questions regarding the behaviour of the FO.Shouldn´t the engine starters after takeoff be turned back from CONT to OFF?Why is the FO turning on the AFT fuel pump for APU start, when normally the FWD one would be selected, because it is easier to replace?

Considering purchasing and would use the button version. But I have a couple of questions.1.Looking at Julio's excellent flow chart, I'm a bit daunted.For example, I've never bothered to do accurate fuel consumption calcs using winds aloft, TAS, etc as I find that sort of thing a bit boring, quite honestly. I use a "rule of thumb" for fuel quantity that has served me well on the NGX flights I have done which is 10% per 100Nm + an overall 15% to cover diverts, holds, taxi etc. Will FS2Crew let me get away with this or will the F/O insist that I do it properly? 2. I use Radar Contact which is also button activated. Can FS2Crew be configured to avoid conflict with RC's butto…

I have a tablet and I like having manuals and checklists for reference on the tablet so I don't have to continually jump in and out of FS.

I made this for myself but removed all the Boeing graphics for pubic down load.It's a total walk though from entering the 737 PMDG "long state" to walking out of the cockpit.Hope you enjoy it?http://www.mediafire...ajl9i21kwj4pa28

Hello,By reading the Voice Control manuel, I noticed that there were more options than in the button version to interact with FO. (mode control panel, overhead panel, center console and so on)Is not it possible to have these options in the button version in the form of windows, menus or keyboard shortcuts ?Thank you in advanceBest Regards,Richard Portier

Hi.I was following the manual in this part - "To ensure that no duplicate V1, VR and V2 calls are heard, please set the "F/O CALLOUT"' options below to 'NO" via the "SIMULATION" menu in the PMDG 737 NGX's FMC." and I did, but now I do not have V1 and V2 callouts.Thank you.

Hi Bryan,I know you are very busy with the hotfixes, but before the update is release did you manage to sort out a way to get FS2Crew to run through the same sound card that is selected on FSX, or able to build in an option to select speaker sound card as well as the headphone sound card.Thanks

Bryan: I was an ecstatic user of your iFly version.However I am having real trouble getting the PMDG version setup.I have allocated the buttons, and also have gone through and hopefully ensured that there is no conflict with the PMDG key assignments. If necessary I can happily delete them as I fly essentially without using the keyboard.However I can find no entry on the panel cfg in the locations you mentioned. If I am correct the only full version of these is in the -800 wide and the -800 (normal screen) folders ... all the others are aliased of course.What should be the entry in the panel.cfgs and where in the cfg document. I would have no problem doing this manual…

That is the question ;-)Not a big deal but according to the PMDG-737NGX-Tutorial-2, it appears to be preferable to use the Left FWD Fuel Pump fot the APU.I quote : <<The FWD pump is chosen because it is easier and less costly to repair than the AFT pump is. Hi BryanEverything works fine, now that I finally configured how to switch the Main Panel on.Only slight glitch I have, and it may be down to me, is, having programmed my MS SideWinder FF2 joystick's hatswitch buttons 3+4 to be my Main Button and Secondary Button as per your instructions, when in flight, and only in flight, when I select either button 3 or 4, I immediately get an AP disconnect and have to re-connect the AP manually from the MCP.Same thing also occurs when using the MD-11, and all this has only just started since I had to do a complete FSX re-install.Thanks.

Hi BryanJust bought the Bundle today. Installed it.Configured Main and Secondary buttons on my joystick; I have 2D set;I can see the FS2Crew PMDG 737 NGX Config Manager on my desktop;I then enable the Button version, yet after starting the 737NGX in C+D,then powering up via the GPU, when I left-click on that Standby Instrument Panel, I get zilch---no Main Panel opening up.So what am I doing or where am I going wrong?PS. 10 mins laterIGNORE this, Bryan. After reading another post, and looking in the Panel.cfg, figured out where I was going wrong.

After beating my FO into submission, he will now start the engines when I tell him to. Seriously though, I uninstalled FS2Crew and re-installed it. This was driving me NUTS ! NOTE: After I did the re-install, the NGX cockpit starts off in 2-D... then it DOES go back to VC during the initialization of NGX.

After loaded a saved flight during cruise, it seems I can not skip the preflight, boarding, take off etc etc procedures.I skip to DESCENT process then I run the program but at this moment the FO start to the preflight procedure and so...?!Where am I wrong ?Thank you in advance.Best Regards,Richard Portier

Ok, I decided I'll give it a shot trying to use the FS2Crew for NGX.I read the manual from top to bottom.I having some issues.in the CFG panel on the push back:1. I can't seem to be able and set the angle of the turn, the UP & DWN key are not responsive or change anything.2. the amount of feet I set seems to make no change, when I start the push back it pushes me about 5 ft straight and immediatelyturns my plane 90 Degrees (remember Problem number one? can't change the angle and it is set on default "0", but yet it turns me 90 dg')then it could push me for miles after the turn or could stop after what is probably the ft that is set in the CFG, both happened to me.no …

Bryan,once again another excellent quality addon which takes FSX and the NGX to a new level.Once things are settled down, may I ask if it you would be able to allow the Briefing panel to be opened using a keyboard shortcut?The reason I ask is that I only retain part of the main panel visible, in particular, the section that shows whether to press the A or B buttons and what event will occur. This reduces the clutter in the flighdeck and works great.Unfortunately, I need to keep moving the main panel back and forward to operate the BR button and it would be much easier if I could press a keyboard command to open the BR panel. I've got to say this as it is really annoying me. I have been reading both this forum and the PMDG forum for many months now, and one thing I have noticed is the amount of questions that are answered by skiming the manuals.I am a great believer in the saying "there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers", unfortionatly it seems like some poeple think it is easier to ask these questions then researching the answer in the manuals.Both PMDG and Bryan have done wonders in producing, not only products that outshine their competitors, but manuals that are complex and answer all sorts of questions.These forums are for are getting full of simple install questions or how to …

I load FSX with the default plane then switch to PMDG 737, before takeoff.I go thru the flow till I get to Takeoff, during the takeoff roll I get Gear Up on the main side and Abort on the secondary window? I have tried to reload the flight several times but get the same message.Any help for a newbie would be appreciated.Matt

Hi Bryan,I have a small problem with opening the PA and FA panels. I can open the panels from the main FS2Crew panel but in the instruction manual it says that you can open the FA panel by pressing the "attend" button and you can open the PA panel by pressing the captains "PA" buttin. This does not seem to work. When I press the "attend" button I just get the usual ding dong sound and when I press the "PA" button it just lights up.Do I have a problem with my install or is this something that is on the hotfix?This is not a major problem but if the option is there, I would like to use it.Thanks

Hi,First of all, great product. However, one minor issue. The fo seems to be unable to read the FL, I don't get any trans level call outs, nor the fo is triggerd todo his procs @ 10.000 ft. Just this weekend I installed the SP1c for NGX as well as the new FS2Crew for NGX. Roughly 1/2 of my flights end up with EZDOK 'hanging' to the point where I have to kill it in Task Manager so I can finish my flight. I am posting this in here as well as EZCA and NGX forums. Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

When im command for flaps up speed, my FO dont remove speed bug to 205 kts. Speed bug only chang position from V2 (142) to V2+20 (162 kts) . There for Im command VNAV, instead flaps up speed, but this is not corect. Could you help me.Ondrej Benda (LKMT)

Hi,I've just purchased fs2crew for ngx but when I launch the installer (button edition) I can't download my online manual 'cause I receive the message "impossible to find support.fs2crew.com" (I've also searched on Fs2crew website but without finding the operations online manual...) so I have found how to program the "secondary button" because it's the same key assignement of ifly fs2crew but I can't program the primary button 'cause if I use the same key assignement of ifly fs2crew (propeller de-ice on/off) nothing happens...I do my apologize if I haven't seen any similar message by using the "search button" but I've just arrived at home from...a session in a real fixed …
