Hello,Can FS2crew for the JS4100 be installed on a client computer and networked to a server thru a module like wideFS ? I ask because I have FSInn running on a second computer and need to have my headset plugged into that computer, not the computer running FSX.Thanks

Just a heads up...The 'button controlled' version of FS2Crew J41 is now available for sale.My advice:If you're satisfied with voice, stick to voice.The Button control very is very good and VERY easy to use (new interface system), but it's mainly intended for people who are hesitant to use Voice Control, or who simply cannot use Voice Control due to technical reasons (they don't have a microphone, they have a non-English version of Vista/Win 7, etc.)Note:If you do decide to try the 'button version', you must 'uninstall' the voice version first.You cannot have the 'button' and 'voice' version installed at the same time. Hey!After using FS2Crew now for quite a while, I think it's not a good product, because it makes flying other high quality planes WIHTOUT FS2Crew so boring.. :( Well to stop joking, when I pass FL100, the F/O switches the seatbelt switch off then on again. Why? To tell the C/A? The thing I've found: If you decide to switch seatbelt off before passing FL100 (doesn't count if switches manually or by voice), the F/O will turn them on again when doing the thing I menshened above. Guess the topic pretty much says it all...I noticed now on several flights that if I do a flight in the J41 using FS2Crew all along the way from pressing the countdown timer in the beginning to calling for the shutdown check at the end then it seems I can't do almost anything in FSX without having it CTD with a reference to a module called ntdll.dll. If I try to exit FSX it will CTD, if I try to change to a different a/c it will CTD, if I try to end the flight it will CTD...I only see this problem after a full FS2Crew flight, if I fire up FSX and then directly exit FSX or change a/c or whatever all is fine. Same thing if I start FSX and actually start FS2Crew by left-clic…

Hi eveyone!I seem to have a problem with the FO's altitude callouts on final which are not very accurate but often way off so I would just like to check with you if I'm missing something here...For instance last flight I went from EKRN to EKBI where the landing elevation for EKBI is 247 ft so I set a value of 250 in the pressurization controller. We then went for an ILS approach into rwy 27 so my APP TYPE was set to PR and DH was set to 200 in the J41.Are there any more steps that need to be done to get correct altitude callouts from the FO?

I found a great checklist some time ago for flying the J41 with FS2Crew on a site and I have now further polished it myself and will hopefully be able to share it with you when it's completely finished.However I have a question, during the AFTER START CHECKLIST and TAXI CHECKLIST I'm trying to hear what the FO says so I will get it right in the checklist but I'm not 100% sure so I could need your help. I also thought if I could find the audio files somewhere on my disk I could listen to the sounds more easily but it doesn't appear you can manually listen to the audio files? Edited to add some stuff like my post wasn't long already :wink:As I continue to enjoy this great product and improving my "flow" I have tripped on a few things1. During the BEFORE START CHECK one item is "Gear pins" STOWED. First, are gear pins the same thing as chocks and not having English as my native language does stowed in this situation mean the gear pins/chocks are actually supposed to be in or out? And if it means they are supposed to be out I thought according to real OPs they are normally removed after the engines are started and not before?2. I have installed fscrew for js41 and when I get into the flightsim and into js41 it does not install on the intial aircraft selection process and also I can't initialize it when the aircraft is up and running. Any ideas??CaptmacDon McDaniel

On my last flight today I must have obviously gone wrong somewhere when preparing for my flight because after both engines were started and we were about to start taxi I noticed the FMS was shut down forcing me to start it up and put in the route a second time.Any idea where I might have gone wrong or missed something? I'm positive both batteries were switched ON and also the GND PWR and once the first engine was started I asked the GPU to be disconnected using FS Marshaller. Thought I did this the same way on all my previous flights but guess not...hmm...:(

I´ve personally got a one final hurdle in FS2Crew experience. I´d like to keep my HOTAS all time time, and not pause the simulator while flying manually, but sometimes ATC gives direct-to´s and life doesn´t go always the way you planned anyway.Is it possible to command the PNF to control the FMS by saying for example: Select direct to Foxtrot Sierra Two Charlie? The PNF could answer by saying, if the waypoint was found the in the flightplan: Confirm direct to Foxtrot Sierra Two Charlie and you could confirm that, if that was correct et cetera.

Since the recent download and install of FS2Crew I noticed that my cooling fans were working overtime for no good reason and the computer would decide to shut itself down and again I couldn't see any reason. I believe the load went OK and although I didn't get down to figuring things out I did get the FO talking to me etc but not to the point of being able to use the program properly in the short period it's been aboard. The strange things were the unusual fan noise and effort and the shutdowns. To see what was happening I uninstalled FS2Crew and things are back to normal .... I think.I must have done something wrong in the install or speech recog setup ... but nothing…

Hello,I'm very happy with the j41 version so far. I have to spend more time with it before I am comfortably flying and not referencing manuals but it is a fun process.I am running fsx in full screen so I am not using the video marshaller. Are there any voice commands to acheive what the marshaller button presses do? I understand that I won't see the video. I've tried a variety of commands but I haven't hit on anything yet.Thanks,Dave

OK...so I finally found some time to start learning this product. I still have a number a flights before I will be 100% used to this new approach but already now after a couple of flights I just want to say thank you Bryan for the brilliant idea of controlling FS2Crew using your voice and beeing able to actually "speak" to your FO. I think this concept has really raised the realism bar in a way no other addon have!One thing though I would like to suggest for a future upgrade and for coming voice controlled FS2Crew versions would be to be able to end the flight by saying something like "Thank you for a great flight" and have some kind of reply. Greetings,I am simply unable to pronounce the word "on" so that the voice recognition software recognises it when running the JS41. I´m ususally able to use "set" instead in checklist but I fail when commanding "autopilot on". Can´t remember if I ever tried commanding "autopilot set", would that be a work around?Anyway, I´d much rather be able to do some sort of voice training for that word. I´m running Win XP and have gone through the training texts. Whenever I read out "on" in those texts it is properly recognized so I´m a bit stumped. Hi Bryan,after Months and weeks I thought I give it a try with the Vistalizer and try your FS2Crew for J41 Voice. Installing went smooth, also commands are recognized perfect (they appear green on the top of FS). But I have an Issue not so nice though. I do not hear anything from the F/O or any F/A's. the F/O is performing his task, but I never hear anything from him.I figured out, that I cannot select any Region Settings for Voice, maybe that is the Problem? I have a problem with a single item in the Departure Checklist:The FO challenge 'FLIGHT CONTROLS' and my answer should be 'FREE'.This is not recognized at all, and is apparently the only voice command that does not work for me in FS2Crew J41.I have another Voice Recognition addon side-by-side with FS2Crew and I have no problems at all with this at all.What could be the problem here?I could ofcourse answer 'CHECKED' and get on with the checklist, but I would like the correct answer.

I do not get the FO callouts related to Vref during Final, as seen in the nmanual:3. The FO will start calling your speed in relation to VREF. Example: Plus 10, Plus 5, etc. Aim to cross the threshold at Plus 0.What could be the cause of this?

I have used FS2Crew since the first product, and I am amazed how you continue to innovate and create new ideas that work. I use the video marshaller, and I think it is a great product.Still, I have an issue, even if it is a very small one.When the FO calls "The line" in the departure checklist, there is 3 possible answers. One of them is "Position and hold". I assume that you just repeat the instruction from ATC, stating that You are to enter the runway and be ready for takeoff clearance. OK Bryan, I am finally taking a break from flying the J41 to tell you how much I have been enjoying it with your latest edition of FS2Crew. You really outdid yourself on this one, it is simply outstanding. I may never fly another plane in FSX (well, at least not until the 737NG comes out). Bryan,First, I have to say I'm impressed with the amount of detail included and the amount of integration in 4100 version. I'm having issues with a few commands and operations, but I think that's more on my end (I ran the voice tutorial, but haven't properly "taught" my machine to understand me).
