    Hi Brian, When I setup my new Yoke, it is no longer the "first" joystick in the system. So when I assign a button 2 (button 2 as per windows control panel) as the soft mute, it's not working. I believe FS2Crew is looking at only the first joystick since it doesn't give a choice of joystick? I found in the config file "FS2_Main=JoystickButton2" Is there any way for me to specify which joystick it should look for the mute button? How do we setup the soft mute when we have more than one joystick? many thanks

    Hi Brian Sorry to bring this up, but as PMDG did not deliver an SP2, I was just wondering if there was some kind of fixlist for the present FS2Crew SP1 that did not include new functionality from PMDG?

  3. Hi guys, First off, WOW this has just changed my flying expreince and is simply amazing - thank you. I promse that i will pruchase FS2crew every time i purchase a new PMDG plane. However, i have some odd problems that i hope you might be able to help with. They all relate to Voice verion for JS41: 1. FO going though the cold and dark. However, for some reason will not shut down the engines (or just one). This is a random event and the system can complete a clean shutdown. 2. On = Armed.     Hi. It looks like I did something wrong during takeoff. I called P|R Gear Up, but there's no answer, and then F|O called positive rate. But when i said Gear Up there is no answer too. Sometimes everything good, and F|O do the Gear Up and aftertakeoff check flows, but as a rule there some mistake. So where am I wrong? Hep)

    Hi,The title of this post is a little over dramatic as I only have a problem using Voice Recognition with just one word "ON". I have used the voice recognition training several times to try and solve this problem, but FS2Crew refuses to recognise when I say "On" to checklist. I have tried it in different accents, slowly, quickly, I did try it once in a drawling Texan type accent and it worked, but only the once !!I know I can use 'Set', 'Checked' or 'Next' to continue with the checklist, but is there any way to train FS2Crew to recognise my "On" command ?I remember reading a similar post some time ago but I can't find it now.Glen

    I have heard many good things about this FS2Crew. I have not been able to really get started.After installation and running thru the set up and config I noticed that when the room is quiet and with the DSP on I randomly get the green display bar that says: "Captain:off".When I try to speak it will display "Captain:off Captain:{then whatever I say}".Ok second issue. I can not set the soft mute at all. I've read thru the forum and have tried whatever suggestions have been made. The best I can do is assign and keyboard input to get a hard mute.I fly on Vatsim regularly and this will be a problem. I also have a CH Yoke, CH Throttle Quadrant and CH pedals.     When I was beginning the before start check list, going down the line right after fuel lbs checked, the co-pilot started to repeat over and over again, "Seat Belt On", and it wouldn't stop. I had to advance to the next section to clear and start left before I could make it stop. On top of that, my throttle position was correct, yet the co-pilot kept saying check your throttle position. I checked and double check, but no matter what position it was in or how many time I reset it, it kept saying the same thing. I ended up having to start the engines myself and fired the ######! lol

    HiReading the latest from Ryan over at the PMDG General forum, it looks like there won't be a SP2 release for the JS41 and if there is it will only fix a few issues related to CTD's.Reading your 'pinned' post Bryan does this mean we won't see the FS2Crew SP2 with addition content as you describe in the post."SP2 will "unlock" some new functionality in FS2Crew Jetstream... the FO will be able to set the Runway Heading and Initial Alt and Missed Approach Alt using real-world airport data for a large number of airports.The code is already in place... it's just waiting on PMDG to release their SP2."Glen

    Hi Bryan,I purchased the PMDG J41 over Christmas and quickly found that it is a lot of work for one pilot!I was kindly directed to your J41 addon product (I had seen other FS2Crew products but never purchased) so I took a look at the features and viewed some youtube vids of the product in action and then proceeded to purchase.I have just completed the PMDG tutorial flight for the first time with FS2Crew running. I have to say the experience is fantastic and it has really added a new dimension to flying the J41 and not least of all helped with the workload!!Thanks for a great product!

    Hey again Bryan. Thanks for the help just now on the ATR question. I did find the problem with the FMS font issue. They have a workaround on their forum. It has something to do with the windows installer not installing the fonts correctly. Thanks. One question on the J41 and I promise I'll leave you alone. For a while anyway. Is there a way to 'step' through the loaded flight plan (J41) to check for discrepancies like we are able to do in the Boeings? I've had a couple of flights where a final turn before landing is too tight to safely reach the ILS once again and if I had been able to 'view' this before takeoff I could have deleted a waypoint or two and created a smoothe…

    Thanks in advance for any help.....So basically my problem is that the FO does not set power correctly on the take off roll and when I try to manually advance fully forward, I get an overtemp.The manual says:"When you call “SET POWER,” the FO will attempt to set full power. However, your joystick throttle may override the FO.     New to the J41 but am beginning to get the hang of it. However, when I get to the point in the checklist to arm spoilers, try to click on the button, i get nothing. No little 'hand' to show a clickable area. Then, of course, i get, " are you sure?" from the FO. Any ideas?

Spending hours and hours trying to handle both products, for a casual gamer like me this is a real challenge!I have lots of problems flying this plane by using voice commands...   22. Afternoon all- Question 1) I am having a discussion with a fellow pilot about the "correct" location for engine start. As the J41 manual states " The proper ground start position for the power levers is found by moving the levers rearward until the green reverse captions illuminate, and then moving them forward to the point where the reverse captions extinguish". However, if I go precisely that, I get "Check throttle position". If I move my power levers to detent position on my Saitek, that's the correct position for FS2Crew - which is just about the same location as where the reverse lights kick off.     Hi I have a question about landing lights . I ma getting bad points for no ld lights below 10 000 is it might job to turn ld lights on while departure check and then on descent . I always find them off . Also I canot set mute bottom again as in 747 however I managed to do that with 747 but I forgot which key I used is there any cfg where I would be able to find which key is set in 747 so I can try same in bae please .     This is a minor issue, but one that throws me off from time to time. The airframe and prop deice, ignition and radio commands are all initiated by the word "set", but the engine/elevator anti-ice command is not. I'm just curious why the word "set" doesn't initiate that command like the others? Everything is so consistent up until that point.
