Hello,I was wondering if anybody could help me with this problem. I just purchased FS2Crew for the J41 tonight and am having problems with the Main Panel. Anytime I click on the weather radar to open the main panel or trying opening it from the top menu, FSX gives me a notice that it needs to be shutdown. All the other panels seem to work just fine with FS2Crew. It's only the Main Panel. Not sure if it matters, but I also have the Reality XP Weather Radar installed and have added the proper lines to my RXPWX500.ini file. I have also made sure that my Panel.cfg has the proper lines for the FS2Crew windows. I have include below a copy of my panel.cfgI would appreciate …

Firstly, thanks for a great bit of software. It really is your best to date.Just to confirm that I have the same two issues mentioned in other posts:FA volume displaying only 0 & 1British voice set causing issue with after start checklistHowever, the reason for my post is not the above as these have already been noted. I just wanted to know if there was a way of increasing the volume of my FO as I sometimes cannot hear him above the sound of other things going on in the cockpit. Many thanksBill

Hello folks,After hours of reading the manual, I started a flight and FS2Crew "seemed" to work. OF course, I have a lot of learning ahead of me.I "had" the understanding that the Capt. could say heading 340 or whatever and the FO would change that as well as altitude etc.I had voice to turn on AP, but nothing would change in way of heading/altitude/vs/etc....I still had to physically do it like always which is a pain.Am I understanding correctly??thanks in advance, cthiggin

Hi,It needed a good flow chart to smooth everything out, so I made one. At that point I asked a m8 to beta test it, well he went far beyond just beta testing and made it work within fsx as the inbuilt check list. A massive thanks goes to him.You can simple print out a Word Doc, set out to print logical or follow the read-me text and have it working in the Sim.Here it is JS41 Flow Chart check I hope you enjoy it.

Hi Bryan,Early days so far, but generally everything is working OK. I do have a repeatable problem with the after start checklist. It runs through fine until the FO says "Ice Protection Test" and then it stops. There is no "stall system test" or "after start check complete" announcement. When I check FS2Crew main panel, the checklist states TAXI, so it has moved on before the rest of the checklist has been completed.I have always started with the pre flight checks.Any ideas? Many thanksSteve

I seem to have an intermittent problem where I here a click sound in my headphones and then after that no voice via the headset. When this occurs my voice commands still activate a particular action, but no co-pilot confirmation. For example I command "wipers slow". The wipers will activate but no "wipers slow" reply from co-pilot. Also there is no response the the relevant checks when called. This does not occur on every flight and I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen.I use a quality USB headset and have tried using it in different USB ports on the computer.Any ideas?ThanksAndrew Dixon

I've just had my first attempt at using FS2crew but have encountered a problem when starting the engines. Whenever I give the instruction to start the left engine, I get the response "Check the throttle position"I've adjusted the position using my CH throttle quadrant and by clicking and dragging ensuring that the throttle position is shown as 0% but to no avail. Using F1 and F2 no longer works after installing FS2crew. CLs are in taxi. Using W7 32bitAny suggestions pleaseMike

  11. I can't tell you enough how excellent this product is. As my first fs2crew product I can say I have never felt this immersed before. Truly top notch stuff here! I can't imagine using anything but the voice control, it really is remarkable. Great job! Only thing I'm having an issue with is turning up the FA volume. I can hover my mouse over the CAB button and see the plus symbol, but moving the mouse wheel doesn't have any effect. The number in the display window stays at 0. Any idea what I'm doing wrong, as I'm about 99% sure it's pilot error :( Anyway, great work once again, can't thank you enough! Ty89m

Hi - hitting an issue on turn check. I have "turn" showing up on the main panel, call out "turn check please", in green above it shows what I said but the fo repeats "preflight brief". I haven't been able to get past this on many tries. Am I doing something wrong?Appreciate the help - thanks!

Hi (me again!)I cannot get the voice through my headset? I fly online (Vatsim) and have everything set up ok, voice through headset, engine sounds etc through speakers? When asking for the Turn Check the FO replies through the (Woofer) not the speakers which in itself sounds all very muffled and whatever I do I cannot get this through the headset.BTW I have two soundcards... Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Things like that should be included more often: FO just called me Speedy Gonzales for trying before start check before doors were closed. Little things like that show attention to details, great job Bryan. Now I just have to get used to talking to my PC.Greg

Hello all,I have a Problem:After the installation of fs2crew for JS41 I had no original Callouts like "V1", "Rotate" or "Gear up/Down" or "Flaps x". Then I saw in the fs2crew config programm a button to restore the original callouts. But what a surprise: now the switching of the views (which I realize with FSUIPC and the FS Commands C66851, C66857, C66858, C66856 etc.) don

Is it possible to set altitude by saying: bug altitude three five zero zero instead of three thousand five hundred (example)? I have much trouble getting him to understand hundred, and quite often get runaway altitude while on approach. I tried saying hundred in different ways and so far it's hit and miss, and getting into trouble with AP this close to ground isn't funny :).Setting VS doesn't bother me that much, I can always use IAS.Greg

Hi Bryan!Thank you for the excellent product!I jumped in the FS2CREW squad after the implementation of the voice command and I was really surpised to learn that my computer is able to pull such things off as the speech recognition :)Anyway, first with the Maddog and now with J41 the level of realism is taken to new heights thanks to FS2CREW. I am very excited to learn that the new PMDG NGX is going to have FS2CREW from day one too (correct me if I am wrong). On my J41 edition everything operates perfect. Still the learning curve is a bit steep but the experience from the other voice edition is there. One small glitch I found during my first flight was that I could not make…

Hello,i have one big question about the FS2Crew version for the J41: this is a "voice commander" version, does it mean that i can handle it only by using an headset? or is it possible to run it without one?and i'm currently having a few problems with my headset, so i would have to use FS2Crew without it. so my question is: is this programm usable without an headset (as the MD11 edition, for example), or it there ONLY the possibility of using it with an headset?thanks for any answersregardsEmi

This occured on a thru flight when running the after start checks, first few items ok, then went into loop and kept repeating the FO checks. Tried to disconnect voice and even skip ahead in the flows and he would not stop repeating. Finally, after a couple of going from "After Start" to Taxi Check" he stopped and all was ok after that. Just FYI.Joe

G'day Bryan,I can't seem to get the soft mute to function. I have assigned it via the Config Manager however it doesn't work. When I hold down the button the "M" symbol doesn't appear in the main display and the FO still recognizes commands. I have tried assigning button 1 on my yoke and also tried various keyboard keys with no luck. I had a look at the file "FS2CrewInputMapper.CFG" found here:...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\FS2Crew2010\Versions\Jetstreamand it has the entry: FS2_Main=JoystickButton1So the Config Manager saves the command but it won't function in the Sim. Any thoughts? Can anyone else confirm that their soft mute functions? Thanks,Serge
