I have MS Flight downloaded and the newest Toolkit version but I can not get to the Stearman and additional liveries as it wants me to Sign in to LIVE which of course no longer exist. If I choose the first Toolkit option it will not run, only 2 of the 3 work and the 2 that work want me to Sign into LIVE. Any ideas how I can get these items to show up. It's been a very long time and the announcement of the NEW MFS made me want to try it again just for the heck of it. Thanks for your help in advance! Hello dear MS Flight pilots! It's been 6 years since Flight was cancelled, right? I still remember like it was yesterday when I desperately tried hundreds of times to activate game without knowing it's dead. Xbox Live Store was still active back then but Flight and GFWL where closed little bit earlier I guess, but it doesn't even matter now. Hi everyone ! I'm new on this (old) forum and I hope I'll find answer to my problem. I recently download Microsoft Flight and I would fly to alaska, the rest of the islands of hawai and play with the other airplanes. So I download Flight Toolkit here http://flighttoolkit.com/ Howewer, only the Pt-17 Stearman and the Icon A5 appear on the hangar. I cannot fly to Alaska. A message appear "Soon available". I tried to re-install Flytoolkit 3 times, using different versions. Where's the problem ? Maybe it's too old and cannot be used now... Thanks in advance for your answer

Hi I mostly use the Official GFWL-mode in Flight. Every time I start Flight I am notified of every achievement I have and it's getting a bit annoying. Does anyone know how to get rid of this, of course without losing my achievements? -eelis-

Hi, First my definition of a tweak: Any additional software, or manual editing of a file that results in an observable change in the operation of a program. I formerly ran Game Booster 3 to prevent other tasks from running while I'm in Flight (I really don't want Java updating while I'm trying to evaluate a setting change). I now use the Turbo mode of the freeware Advanced System Care, which does the same thing. In fact I use it all the time as I want my CPU's full attention paid to Flight as well as a small amount of additional RAM being made available. The only editing change I've made is setting the Cockpit zoom to 1.0 in the Camera.cfg, and it still appears to me…

As the title says, I wonder in what engine is Flight made and can we somehow get that engine so we can develop our own content or it's still owned and kept by Microsoft? They don't use it anyway, right? Or it's held by another developer studio which I haven't heard of yet? Anyone has info? Thanks!

Hello, can anyone help me fix this problem? I just finished flight from LZIB to UGGG... Everything was going fine and smoothly. Then I landed and waited for a couple minutes (to reset checklist). After about 6 minutes I wanted to fly back... (UGGG-LZIB) but when I typed into MCDU "LZIB" as a destination it showed me that the airport/waypoint is not in database. I checked my current AIRAC on the very first page on the MCDU, but there was no Active or Secondary filled with text. I would like to know how can I reinstall it?? Thank you for possible help Lukas

Hi, I had Flight re-installed more than two years ago after upgrading my machine to Windows 10 64 bit, and with the help of the flight toolkit (last version 1.1.22) I again converted the FSX-SE world. It all worked fine without problems. So after a few months since last using it, I tried starting Flight again. Unfortunately the program did not start. Looking at the task manager, I see the Flight Application (32 bit), but the memory is constantly stuck at 2.3MB while it does not consume any CPU time. Hi Does anybody know, when ever I choose to fly 'NonGFWL' mode and after going back to 'OfficialGFWL' mode my Career points resets to zero and I have to fly all Missions from start again? Very annoying to start all over again and again and...well you got the idea. -eelis-

Haven't played MS Flight for a while, now I try the game and joystick has no effect. It's detected, I see "Logitech 3D Pro" in the settings. Both the joystick and Xbox controller do nothing in MS Flight alone. Fine in all other games. I tried the usual trouble shooting steps: re-plug, re-start, set as primary joystick. As I said, works fine in all other games and apps. Any ideas folks?

I haven't used MS Flight in a few years. The last time I did was after it had been abandoned by MS. There were no longer aerocaches, but I could still fly around Alaska and Hawaii. Now when I try to start it up, I can't get past the GFWL login - it says "The program could not be signed into LIVE. There may be a network problem or the Windows Live ID service may not be available." Is there any way around this? Thanks.

Just curious what others think about this hypothetical question: If Microsoft did not abandon their flight sim project, how would Flight Simulation by Microsoft have evolved at the present time? Is Prepar3D v4, or XP11, a likely representation of what Microsoft could have been now, with 64 bit technology . . or could they have produced something even better? . . . payware quality default planes, weather generator, default sceneries, ATC, etc. all in one package? Hmm . .

I've been missing Microsoft Flight for a couple years... and so glad to find out I can still access it. It is still my favorite recreational flying game. The recently announced closure by Dovetail of it's closest rival makes it even more useful. Thanks to all in the community that made this happen, and esp to FlightToolkit. I'd be happy to donate if it would help flesh out the nonGFW server setup.

Hi I'm looking for a real pilot or someone who has extensive knowledge of London Gatwick. I fly into EGKK a lot and always do an approach at 2000 for 26L as indicated on the charts, however when I use Flight Radar 24 I see all the real planes turning much later and establishing there approach at 3000/4000 feet. Please could someone tell me why no real aircraft follow the 2000 feet approach? And general info on Gatwick's approach because it is really confusing me! -Thanks Ollie Seaward.

Hello, I just rediscovered MS Flight and realised what a great game it is! Since it is possible to convert scenery and aircraft from FSX to Flight, is it possible to convert aircraft from Flight to FSX? Especially the Stearman, the Carbon Cub and the lovely Vans (alongside the upgraded Maule) would be a lovely addition to FSX! Best, X8X8X

I recently upgraded to windows 10 and have the latest creator update, I just installed Flight and the latest toolkit but for some reason when I switch to to cockpit view, flight crashes, I have tried 3 different aircraft but same thing happens, I was thinking maybe I should uninstall toolkit and see if it does it without it but not sure if that's the way to go. I didn't try Flight before installing the toolkit but why remove the toolkit if it may not be the cause. If I removed the non GWFL install of toolkit do I just reinstall toolkit if I want to install the GWFL version? I don't remember where error logs for flight are kept?
