Any chance someone from PMDG could write us out the list of all of the liveries that will be available, either as a separate download or included with the product when it is released?

Hi,The manual makes reference to the fact that cargo smoke detection is not installed in the sim. Can this also be the case with the real thing?Best regards,Robin.

Whats your first flight going to be??? For me after getting familiar with the aircraft its going to be a Porter Airlines flight, up here in Canada CYTZ (Toronto City Centre probably one of the best small airports to fly in and out of) to CYUL Montreal, then on to CYHZ Halifax, all I need now is a Fictional repaint. :( hint hint

In light of the approaching JS41, I am looking through my list of available aircraft profiles in FSBuild2, and the closest thing I can come up with the B1900C. Obviously that's not going to be very realistic for flight planning purposes. Does anyone know the where-abouts of a descent FSB profile for the JS41? Or, perhaps one of the JS41 beta-testers has already created one and be willing to share with the rest of us? :(

Just conducted a KBOS-KJFK run in what is likely our Release Candidate 1 version and took some more screens for everyone, this time with the focus on the VC displays and a cool element of the visual model. These are the actual settings I'm flying with, I haven't cranked anything up just for the benefit of screenshots. This is a wide angle shot showing off the majority of the main panel. Note the blanked out FO displays, which can be fully disabled to improve framerates on older CPU based systems. Here's a super close up, you can really see the incredible detail we've put into these textures and gauges, right down to the CRTs actually projecting the symbology onto a modele…

I'm just wondering if there will be a printed manual made available for the JS-41 like the one for the MD-11. Henning mentioned the manual may be available for download shortly so I just want to know whether or not to get it printed at a print shop (or sneak a printing off at work :( ) or if I should wait to buy a printed manual from PMDG.

I just bought my first PMDG product because I had $20.00 burning a hole in my pocket, so I took a gamble and purchased the Beech 1900C turned out to be a pretty good add-on. I noticed that on the website it said that it's not compatible with Vista, I just wanted to say that it is working great on Vista, no problems except that I can't see the props when they are running when I'm in the VC, when they are cut off no problem, I can live with that it's only a small problem for such an excellent software. I just want to say excellent work PMDG, and I definitely will be buying more of your products in the future. And by the way I'm running it on FSX Deluxe Edition with Acceler…

I recently discovered what a great way to fly it is in DX10 mode. Almost a whole new sim. The water, ground scenery, the clouds, the sky and sun, all gets a more realistic look (with bloom on). And above all (i was flying the CS 757), the VC shading! Which added to the feel of really being there. How the sun would gently caress the gauges while turning, truly immersive. And the higher you climb into the blue, the more contrast the lit and shadow parts get. Makes you really want to pull some sun visors down. From now on DX10 preview mode will be my preferred setting for daytime flying (at night there are still some incompatibility's with add-on scenery). And so I hope that…

I just got an Aerosoft cd of the b1900c/d from a boot sale and bunged it into fs9 and then followed the instructions to port it to fsx and I must say for a pmdg 'oldie' I'm very impressed, flies lovely.I have one question though... probably a simple answer from you beech flyers lolWhere is the yaw damper switch? I can't see it anywhere on the panel....?Probably why it wobbles about a bit...John Ellison

I've learned a new trick in the turboprop. The A/P will allow you to hold IAS instead of ALT so set IAS, pull off power and down she comes. A 40% torque will run around 1200 fpm or if you are in a hurry the 30 % torque will come down almost twice as fast. Here I am casually descending into HONEY with about 50% torque coming down 750 fpm. Pretty neat. Oh, the other pic is just me at 15,000 crossing the Miss enroute from AEX to MEI.

You might not know this, but the Piper Cheyenne from Digital Aviation has some torque issues that can't be fixed. At least that's what they said when I asked them. The torque reaction speed is either very slow or very fast. Usually it's slow and it'll take around 5 seconds or more until you get a response from it, making it a little tricky to handle. Nothing major, but still annoying. They spent weeks trying to balance it out, but the end result is what I explained above. Apparently the MSFS turboprop engine model is to blame. So the question is, how did you, PMDG solve/handle this problem on the J41?
