Hello PMDG team,Actually I have setup my simulator with 4 networked PC's using Wide FS, Project Magenta's software, Ariane's BBJ (with to many tweaks in the *.air file to make it fly as real as possible), and 100" screen using a projecor for the outside view.I'm very impressed with your new bird, the questions are: 1.- Does your 737 NG will be compatible with Project Magenta?2.- Does we'll be allowed to separate gauges to fit our needs to us (cockpit homebuilders)3.- Does the FMC will be a stand alone program using FSIUPC that can be used on a second computer?I really appriciate your great effort for this project for all the simmers comunity.Thankyou in advanceJaime Cu

Hello, I thought that Robert once stated that once the beta testing phase was about to start, people would be able to submit their candidature to the PMDG team. Based on what has been mentioned lately, I am going to assume that the beta team has already been assembled. Sorry some of us did not get the opportunity to apply.Have a nice dayJohn

Hi folks, from what i saw until now you are about to create an outstanding product, and despite my wife calls me another time crazy, my credit card is ready to buy the 737NG.The only little flaw i saw is, does your FMC model a "direct-to" function or is this unrealistic in regards to what the real FMC is able to perform?Cheers and keep upHolger Dallmeyer

  11. Gents-As you know, PMDG adheres strictly to a policy that eliminates release dates from the development cycle process. We do this in order not to set artificial barries to product completion, and to reduce the number of times we may disappoint potential customers by moving our release schedule. In other words- we'll stop developing when we feel the product is ready for you to use!Rather than post a release date, we traditionally give you periodic updates on our progress. We do this via screen captures or posts such as this one, to tell you how things are going. We leave you to draw your own conclusion as to how close we are to releasing! We are about to cross a significa…

I am not to sure what you can do about this but someone is writting a public artical on PMDG without your permission. He is writting an artical on how PC based flight simulation is too real and that it could be used to train terrorists and he uses PMDG's 737 as an example. He even has links to your site. I know the artical is a bit silly, and to suggest that someone can fly a real plane based on PC based simulation is not really true, but anyway....The thread is here: http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.ph...&threadid=91170His email is here: [email protected] thought you might be interestedRichard

Hi there Precision Manuals...I have wanted to thank you for a long time now.I once saw your website, and you had some air files that us FS98 people could buy! What was the most interesting was the planning sheets that was included! This was my revelation if you will, to what planning and procedures were!To this day, I don't know what I would have done with out your charts and tables!I use Wilco's PIC 767 for all my IFR flights, all other flights are VFR...I use your charts, and the PIC fly by the numbers, says a great deal about you and Wilco!I have never EVER found any flightplanning device, utility or program that could battle yours! After having seen real books from aircr…

Sadly PMDG is known for delay a release many times, so don't put your hopes to high for a release soon. I,am sorry to say that there are many others , who have also this bad attitude, because that's what it is. If you promise a release date you have to work your bud off, to be ready with the package on that release date. All that promising screenshots and excuses for delay are not working and are no more accepted.Best regards,

In your FAQ-section you state that the FMC will be fully functional. Does that mean that you will even include such rather sheldon used items as the RTA page or PERF 3/3? Will we have to calculate the CG ourselv to enter it on PERF 1/3?

From what I read about the system details and fidelity I couldn't think about any other plane that would qualify that much for building a cockpit than your 737NG.As I have read in older messages, cockpit builders might get definable keys and also providing seperate displays via network seems to be planned. That sounds great already, but there's one more little issue and that's the display values for the MCP.I'm far from being an electronic expert, but if I understood it correctly, it would require providing the values (or offsets) of speed, heading, altitude, V/S, etc., to programs like FSUIPC or others. Would PMDG provide those ?I have read the Aerosoft 747MCP will be su…

  24. Robert, Marc and all the team,I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of this package which I believe will become something of a classic in the FS world. For over 4 years now I have owned Eric Ernst's wonderful 767 panel which evolved into the 767PIC - a truly wonderful package far ahead of all the competition. Not only have you produced what appears to be an excellent visual model but the quality of the panels looks to have reached new heights. The inclusion of a quality FMC leaves me drooling with anticipation. And as if that wasn't enough you have co-operated with Aerosoft to make the MCP compatible with their superb 747MCP.Thank you in anticipation for a great product. I can…

  25. Captains-There was a lengthy discussion in an earlier thread regarding sounds... I thought I'd give you an overview of what we are trying to accomplish with the sound package for the NG.1) Multiple switch action sounds that are played depending on the switch type.2) Ambient noise generated by: Electrically operated systems in the cockpit when appropriate power is available.3) Ambient noise generated by: Pneumatically operated systems in the cockpit when appropriate pressure is available. (example: pack-flow air.)4) Noise generated by activation of generator contactors, busses, etc.5) Strong ambient noise level generated by aircraft slipstream.6) Ambient noise generated b…
