Dear PMDG, I would first like to say great work so far, I am keeping a keen eye on this project. The eye-candy is great and by various posts, system logic and such is away ahead of anything before. My question relates to the engines. I have not once, freeware or payware seen a jet-turbine engine, e.g. the CFM-56 start like the real engines do. I find it incredible to which some "FS" engine start, you can have both engine started within 45 seconds. Have you overcome this problem? What I am meaning, does the engine start is a realistic time like the real engine. I sure hope so, it's just a small thing that annoys me. I can have the engines…

I was flying into LGAL (Alexandroupolis), as one of my (many) test flights, and had drawn this on our FMC / ND:Hope this quenches your thirst for panel graphics (for now)...By the way - the colors on the PFD are example colors - they can be (and are!) altered, as one of many user-defined options in our aircraft. I just find them easier to the eye! ;-)http://www.precisionmanuals.com/public/alx_arc.jpg

I noticed with some add-on aircraft (PSS 744 and 772) that the throttle position interfers with the autothrottle response, i.e. only held to where the throttle is positioned. I'm wondering how does the 737NG handle this?, are the throttle (axis) responses disregarded to allow proper A/T control, as PSS done this with their Airbus series. Thanks

G'day, Quick Q about the FMC, it possibly could be covered in a post before, however Ill ask anyway. With the FMC and VSpeeds, will it calculate it Automatically for you? Thanks guys,===============Sean McCormackOzFast Hostingwww.ozfast.com.au

Hallo PMDGI've got two questions:First if its possible to see some new screenshots of the navigation display. Especially one of an SID / STAR. Second could you enumerate some more features of the aircraft systems? That would be really nice.Greetings Manuel Waltert

Hi Sirs-I've read a lot about this product, 737NG, and I just wondered if you'd be including anything never seen before in flight simulation history? (Something special)Also, how come the 800 is in a separate package to the 700, are there a lot of differences?Regards,Paul

I certainly am not trying to stir any trouble, but I was wondering if the new plane needs FSUIPC...http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg

With the early release to manufacturer of FS2004, it kinda looks like there's a chance that it'll beat the NG to store shelves now. Will this affect the NG release at all (ie, will it be compatible right off the bat and not affect it, or will you guys wait to make sure it works 100% etc)Thanks!RyanPS - REALLY looking forward to this plane, the latest shots coming out from the testers really look unbelievable.

I sent my friend Basten Heidema(from FS Magazine) this shot of the exterior, and here is what he sent back. I thought it was appropriate ;-)http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16145.jpgAnd he edited this one as well :Dhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16146.jpg

I am sure this is not new, but I can't search the forum past 1 month.Under XP, a blank square will appear whenever the 777 FMC is invoked. The square has no handle nor a 'X' to close. It just sits there, blocking the FMC.It has been there for a while and I didn't bother to look into it util now. Has anybody encountered the same thing? Any fix? Thanks,Michael Tan

Hi Team-This feautre would be great for me and I wondered if it would be possible?Could you make it so when landing in the rain the brakes are not as effective? For example, if you select auto brake 2 the instruments show the appropriate amount of hydraulic pressure for auto brake 2 however it "secretly" only applies say auto brake one pressure and so simulates a wet runway and reduced braking effectiveness. Or is this too extreme?Regards,PaulP.S. Expect more ideas soon ;-)

Two pics of the VC for Ken:)http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15179.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15180.jpgMore for Ken, the plane being 'controled' by the autopilot ;-)Inbound to ILS25L at KLAX. The autoland on this plane is smoooooooooooooth! :9http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15181.jpgIt's all out, whoooo!http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15182.jpgWho can resist a fact like this? ;-)Flaps all the way out, spoilers extended. I had a great shot with the reversers open, but I hit the wrong key, and FSScreen didn't take the shot :(http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15183.jpg

Hello folks I hope that you are all familiar with the Boeing 7E7.There is a rumour that Boeing will abandon its tradition and install sidestick controllers like the Airbus. The person who told me is an A330 pilot.Do you have any information regarding the cockpit layout. Regards Shan

hi PMDG,with your 737, will we have the option of having a quick "get in and go" cockpit, where you dont have to spend like 20 mins doing all the preflight work FMC etc etc for our flights,or are all flights having to be done 'by the book'sometimes i am too tired to do all that, and just want to press a few buttons and taxi and then fly, will this be optional?thx

It looks amazing. I do have a question though. Would it be possible to add little squares where the overhead bins are, so you can texture a row number into it? I know, picky as hell, but I just think having tagged seats would kick butt. :7 It won't hurt FPS... It's a bunch of 4 poly squares and one 512x512 textures should suffice for all seats. And it shouldn't take long for the same reason, it's a simple mod. Just wondering. :)Cheers,http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/12447.jpgMember of the [a href=http://ffg.avsim.net" target="_blank]Freeware Flight Group [/a]

Before I'm off to vacation (and stop nerving with questions for a while), here's one more for the PMDG team:It has been mentioned that the FMC will be an almost 100% replica of the real thing, except the stuff that is not applicable in FS. What exactly were you referring to ? Or in other words : With regards to Bulfer's FMC Guide and your NG, which part of the Guide would not make sense to read then (besides the obvious stuff such as maintenance and abnormals) ?Michael

Hey all! Here are some external shots of the -700W*drool*http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15007.jpgThat, ladies and gentlemen, is an engine ;-)http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15008.jpgAwesome detail on the nosegear! I didn't want to make this excuse, but the jpeg compression really takes away from the crisp textures on this plane, esp on the nosegear.http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15009.jpgMmmmmmmhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15010.jpgA nice conclusion to this set of pics.http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/15011.jpgHope you enjoyed
