Im not sure why but after the first minute of starting FScrew from the main panel active camera stops working compleaty in all views. Its happening right after the co pilot says hello.Although ive only had it 1 day and am still learning i am using the PMDG 737 voice version also and there is no problem there.I lose all functions of active cam including outside views and none if its setting have any affect. I know active cam is an old program and not really supported anymore so im wondering if there might be something i can do to get round it.Any ideas?

I just installed the voice edition for the maddog and now im in awe! I think this is going to be a lot of fun to work with. I was just trying it out and following the manual managed to do a start up from cold upto taxi checklist. Then I decided its time to get some sleep as Im working funny hours tommorow.I dont think im going to be able to bring myself to flying anything else now thats the only problem. Cant wait for the weekend. Incidently I found it recognises what i say even when I talk quietly (like you do in the middle of the night lol)Anyway thanks for an amazing product.Andy"Takeoff must be followed by land as dictated by the laws of physics."

  6. Thanks for the great product.I have a question about the "Set Vertical Speed" command. If anyone has a thought, please respond. Here's a specific example. I'm cruising with autopilot on, speed set to 280 (SPD 280), LNAV engaged (NAV TRK) and holding altitude (ALT HLD). I enter the command "Arm Flight Level 210" and the FO reads back correctly and arms FL 210. I then enter the command "Set Vertical Speed Down 2000" and the FO reads back correctly, BUT the autopilot stays at altitude hold (ALT HLD). Sometimes in this scenario I'll see VERT SPD selected very briefly in the flight mode annunciator, but then it returns to altitude hold. When I perform the above procedure ma…

Bought the Maddog FS2crew addon last week, and after 6 flights would like to say thank you to those that worked on it. FS2crew has made an excellant aircrat sim even better. I'd say I only have one issue, and that's with the word 'checked'. It keeps hearing check. Other than this, it really is a great addon and a must for those whom strive for realism.RegardsPaul

I have a strange problem that results in the fs2crew gauge for maddog 2008 not being inserted. I have followed the description on how to install it and also what to do if nothing happens when I click the gauge to open the FS2Crew main panel. If I try the FS9 Registry integrity test tool, it says that fs9 installation folder found under LOCAL_MACHINE. Hower, there's not a trace of fs9 to be found. If I try the Flight 1 FS9 Registry repair tool, I point at the FS9 file and it says that it was successfully added to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\9.0\EXE Path! However, when I take a look in the registry, it's definitely not there!?I kno…

I have two strange issues after SP1.1. Right after taxi, I suddenly get the three Cargo Doors Open warnings on the Annunciator Panel. I haven't touched them at at all before, and I also haven't changed or used the Maddog Standard keyboard assignment (Shift-F8) for them. The same happens somewhere during the Approach. Any idea where that could come from ?2. The 'set to A' or 'alpha' for the Ignition during the Line Up Check does not get recognized at all. 'Set to B' or 'bravo' works.Does that point to a speech recognition problem or is it a problem with SP1 ?Mike

Hello,I recently bougt the FS2Crew-Maddog. That seems to be a good an innovative product. But at the moment I'm not very satisfied. What I absolutly don't like is the manual. Having bought the FS2Crew ATR and MD11 before, there I have gotten good manuals with a worflow you can follow very easy. But in the Maddog-version the written crew-flows are way to complicated. You have to look at the same time in 3 parts of the manual. You have to follow your own Captain-flow, you have to follow the FO-flow and you have to look at the checklists. So you have to change the sides in the manual every second to look for the next event/trigger/check. Why couldn't it be possible to make th…

Hello, still learning this beast. :( My question is related to the doors. When CabinCrew during pre start check comes in the cockpit and tells me, if we're ready to start boarding, I answer with "Yes, we are", and she answers "Ok" (or something like that - than I can hear people entering the airplane). But after that no doors were opened! Isn't it so, that the CabinCrew should open the doors after my "Yes, we are"? The only open door is the front door (opened right at the start of the pre start check). In the config-panel doors are set to "yes" and AES is set to "yes".After that, when I make the PA: "Cabin crew disarm slides and open doors" this command is understood (rea…

Has anybody else experienced an extended pushback? I had it happen first after installing Squawkbox. I set the FS2CREW .cfg panel for a 160 ft. push, and the crew rolled me out halfway across the feild. I lowered the distance to 80 feet and things returned to normal for awhile. Last night I needed a longer push, and it started pushing me way too far again. I hit shift+P to stop it. I completed after start check and taxi check, then I hear the ground crew call for set brakes, and push resumes!Anybody else had anything like this? Solution? Thanks,Greg D.

Hi Bryan and crew. Just a quick note about SP1. I just installed a new hard drive and have a clean installation of EVERYTHING. Installed SP1 and just ran through the checklists on the ground with the aircraft A/C running in the background and was very sucessful in the checklists I could get him to him to do on the ground. I think the SP1 has greatly improved the recognition for me at least. Haven't had the time to try a flight as yet but will shortly. Thanks guys, well done... Mike B.

It has to do with the autopilot useage. If I am flying and the autopilot is off what is the point of asking for a heading to be set by the FO?? If the autopilot is on why can't I tell the FO to set a heading?? Seems just backwards to me. AM I missing something??Heading select only works if the autopilot is on??Mike B.

I have big problems regarding the 'are you ready for the arrival/departure brief' phrase, gets only understood around 1 out of 10 times. Using the speech training in Win7 did not really help. I suspect it has to with the word 'are', at least during tests in a word processor a lot of different, but similar sounding stuff gets detected.Just wondering, am I the only non-US/British citizen (I"m German) with that sort of problems ? Is there any trick to fool the computer to recognize at least a few of this unnecessary words as 'are' ?Michael

I seem to be developing a new speech problem (possibly XP based again?).I am starting to say "One" and "No" a lot, and sometimes even "N One", even though I am staying completely silent.I think I remember the same happening with Voice buddy, when I tried that years ago. That is the reason I lost faith with it.Now with FS2Crew, this doesn't pose much of a problem, as my First Officer just ignores me (a bit like my wife manages to do most days).Anyone else having this problem?Neil.PS. who is the cute cabin crew who says the cabin is all ready before start? Sounds a bit scandinavian and gorgeous. If she is ever at London City airport, tell her to visit the Control Tower, …

Since a lot of you also own a 737 voice version of FS2Crew in addition to the Maddog, I thought I'd let you all know that the SP1s for the 737 versions are now available. They're public betas, but they should be all good. They incorporate a lot of the new features and techniques incorporated in the Maddog version, such as the Mute push button.Click here for the PMDG 737, 737 PIC and Default 737 SP1s

As I raised the earlier topic, it's appropriate to mention that through Bryan's endeavours, all of the issues that I had have been resolved through SP1. The recognition % under XP is now up there with the performance of the first 737 product. It's a joy to use the Maddog version and marry up the immersion and flexibility of Voice FS2Crew with the realism of the Maddog aircraft in FS9/FSX. Without doubt it's one of the slickest VR implementations around. Thanks Bryan!Andy

Just made a couple of more flights with FS2Crew for Maddog.Still with my original headset (my Beyerdynamic MMX 2 is coming soon hopefully :( ).I have noted a couple of problem words which I really struggle with."Auto" is always very difficult, in fact I try 10 times with various accents, then just say "next"."After" is also very very difficult. Both "After Engine Start Check" and "After Landing Check" need at least 5-10 attempts to get them recognised. When airborne, I still can't get most commands to register. "Gear Up/Down" always takes several shouts at my dumb FO to register.I am hoping the combination of my new headset/Bryan's update will fill me with joy :( Neil

I love this product, but was wondering if in your upcoming hotfix there could be a slight modification. A couple of checklists titles may be referred to a couple ways and it might be nice to have the voice recognition pick up on any a few of the common phrases for these checklits. For example, to start the after start checklist you must say "After Engine Start Check". However, often I hear this as "After Start Check". Hardly a big deal and I'm not going to be upset if this doesn't get changed. Even my stubborn will may finally learn to say "After Engine Start Check" the first time rather than saying "After Start Check"...wondering why nothing is happening and the rea…
