FS2CREW: LEONARDO MADDOG (Legacy Version)

  1. Started by byork,

Hello Maddog FS2Crew pilots:This checklist was created by our real-world Maddog FO - S. Sutinen. It's meant to be a working checklist like the one found in the plane. This checklist is formatted to be double side printed on an A4 size paper sheet.Download link:http://fs2crew.com/cart/Updates/FS2Crew_Maddog_Checklist.zipIMPORTANT:This checklist does NOT replace the Main Ops Manual!!!You still need to print out the Main Ops manual so you can understand the flows and see all the various things you can say!!!Best,

Hi,I made a first flight in FS9 (I had troubles in FSX with my Maddog I need to resolve first, aft stairway couldn't be retracted, framerates issues, no more sound in the cockpit) with the Maddog Voice Commander and it is more and more a great product.I think this has been requested before, but when I'm manually flying the MD on SID (non RNAV SID), flying the conventional way, following VOR Radial and tracks, specially with this "old" aircraft, it would be great to ask the FO to set NAV1/NAV2 frequencies and courses according to the path I follow.

Guys, I posted some questions and considerations regarding FS2Crew 2010 (MD80 and some PMDG737) on the FSX General discussion forum in the hope that there's better coverage since there are more people who visit and share their experience there. If you tell me to remove and post it here I'll do so. http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtop...t&p=1712714Thanks!Dirk.

Bryan, some questions/requests.1. Departure and Approach briefs. Since it's just a case of me saying whatever I please, I sound like Beavis: "Uhhh... uh, uh.. ummm, Uhhh... we'll takeoff and then climb up, and we'll turn left, or uhhhh, maybe right... uhhh...." Maybe your MD FO could write a script for the Departure and Approach briefs?2. PA announcements - I cannot seem to get the FA to respond to any of the "I'll keep you informed" etc messages.3. I can't seem to locate the appropriate response to give to the ground crew, at the end of the flight, after they advise that the chocks are in and it's okay to release the parking brake. Can you advise?4. In appendix D…

Bryan: One thing I've noticed is that the program seems to think I keep saying "fine". I'll just be sitting there and the green bar pops up with "Captain: 'Fine'".I thought it might have been my mic picking up background noise, so I went out and bought another that supposedly had good background noise attenuation; unfortunately, I still get the same thing. It hasn't really caused any problems yet, just wanted to let you know.James

Hey Bryan,Absolutely great product! A few things I noticed...Is there a command to set Climb Power? I tried to use the syntax for cruise or MCT, but they didn't seem to work. Also, I didn't pay attention to it, but does the FO manipulate the autobrake during the pre-takeoff stuff? Also, I did notice that the Seatbelts callout as part of the climb check came through my speakers rather than headset. Additionally, out of habit I gave a cross-checked call at 80kts....this had the unfortunate result of "reject". Nothing you can do here...just an FYIThanks!Jeff

Wow, this is great.. Been playing with the Crew for MD. Having a ball. You sure do need to print out the checklists though. I sent the wife off to get more ink and paper for the printer.. Bryan, did you ever consider making a PDF file for a checklist that we can laminate (About the size of the real world checklists) with the different lists and responses on it??One note. Just like the 737 Fs2Crew, I tried to use it right after installation and it just hung up the computer. Rebooted the machine and it then worked just fine. I also had to turn way down the ambient cockpit sounds as it seemed to bother the FO. And what's with this snippy FO giving me the business i…
