Hi FS2Crewers :biggrin:I really enjoy my virtual FO and everything works great, just have a couple of questions about atimeters and transitions. As an example, I've been doing a short 30' flight from LEAL to LEPA where the transition altitude is 6000ft.The FO sets both his altimeter and the captains during preflight (pre-start check) shouldn't it leave it to the Cpt to set his own altimeter? In my descent, when crossing 6000 I say "Transition, altimeters 1019 passing 6000 now" and the FO sets both altimeters to 1018 (local setting, not arrival QNH 1019 as advised by ATC) Is there a way to make him set what I say and not current local QNH? (and only his altimeter, not both,…

Hi folks!I have a problem with turning the Speech Recognition in Win7 SP1 from German to English-US.It's not an Ultimate or an Enterprise version of windows so I tried Vistalizator. But Vistalizator doesn't seem to support Win 7 SP1.What can I do to make FS2crew work with my Windows?I can't switch to an other windows version...I don't know how to "uninstall" just the service pack (if it is possible at all)Maybe there is an alternative?Thx in advanceMatEDIT: I just found out that SP1 is preinstalled so I don't see a way to uninstall it.Now I'm clueless... :(

All,I noticed after the pre-start check above the line, the FO flips the power from EXT to BATT AMP. I always have to flip it back manually to get the meters to register power flow. (see screen shots). Also, on take off, I always get a spoiler warning and have to left click and push them down in the VC before the warning subsides. Are these both normal? Am I missing something somewhere?

Hi,I have a rather annoying problem which makes it impossible to use FS2Crew with the Maddog.I set up a new Windows XP SP3 system only for FS9 a few days ago. I installed the MS Speech Recognition Engine version 5.1, which works just fine during the training sessions.FS9 is patched to version 9.1, and everything works perfectly, even the Maddog with SP1. Now I installed FS2Crew for the Maddog, then I applied the SP3 update. When I select the Maddog now (doesn't matter if I do this in the start menu or later after loading another aircraft), the FS closes instantly before the loading bar appears. No error message is given.I made it 100% sure that FS2Crew is responsible, as …

Hi guys,I use FS2CREW for Maddog. I am extremely happy with it and everything runs as it is stated in the manual, but I have one problem. In reading several checklists I say the word 'start, closed, .. " and if I say so I just open the Start menu on the toolbar and the word "Closed" closes FS.FS2CREW uses the Microsoft Speech Recognition. So I ask if anyone knows how to program in the set to listen to my voice commands only for FS?Thank you for your reply.

Not a really big deal, but for the 1st time I decided to step outside the MD80 to watch the jetway attach in FSX and noticed that the doors opened automatically at the end of the flight. Now, that's ok, but one of the calls I use at the end of the flight is "Cabin crew, disarm slides and open doors." Seems this one is in no way attached to any action of FS2C. It opens the doors before the jetway even gets there and before I make the call. Is this how it is supposed to work? Just wondering. -Rick

I am loving this version with my new Maddog, but am running into a problem. I make through successful push back and engine start, but there is no response to my "After Engine Start Check" command. The correct words appear on the green line, but no check list and no way that I can find to continue. This is my first voice command version. This is likely some operator error. The one deviation I use that I have used without problem with former versions in other aircraft is that I set up for 30 minutes, but always finish my setup a little early and fast forward (slowly) to about five minutes. Is it likely that this is creating the problem or something else? Thank you.Cr…

Hello, I purchased the maddog version if fs2crew for the maddog 2010. I was reading the manual and it says to set up speech recognition in windows 7. When I go to do that, my computer doesn't 'hear' me. I don't get it because when i go to the sound recorder in w7, the microphone works fine. I know the problem doesn't lie within fs2crew, but rather w7. 'i was just hoping you could help trouble shoot this issue. Do I need to download anything from Microsoft or do I need a new microphone?

I am having an issue preparing the cockpit to take off. Whenever I look to manually prepare the cocpit or have fs2crew FO do it. I am still left with the following indicators:L&R GEN OFFL OIL PRESS LOWL CSD OIL PRESS LOWL HYD PRESS LOWAdditionally, although I started with the right L and right elect power with both CSD showing the same temperature. IAfter receiving these indications, the right CSD shows proper settings but Left is all the way down:see enclosed picture. This is exactly what I see, after calling for right and left engine start. This doesn't happen until after starting both engines. After left stabalizes, FO presses a few buttons and I get these erro…

Reinstalled Windows Vista 64bit and everything, now I cannot access FS2Crew for the MadDog... Everything says it should be in \Windows\System32, installer puts it in \Windows\SysWOW64, unzipped and copied the updated FS2Audio.dll into both these folders (as I had done before, to cover all bases)... Except now I get the error in the attached image... Worked fine before the reinstallation...Any ideas why it might be doing this?

Hi,Made quite a few successful flights now - amazingly the FO does most of what I ask :( ...I have an issue with the ground crew, though.Pushback is enabled in the config panel. Before start check is completed.I say: "Cockpit to ground", reply: "What can we do for you?""We're ready for the pushback and engine start", reply: "OK, release parking brakes"Parking brakes released. Then nothing happens. I have seen the pushback happen one time, but I can't remember what was different.Running out of patience, I push back using slew or Maddog control panel, and then proceed to the engine start.Any clue to what part I am missing for the pushback to happen ?:( Peter SAS1376

During my flights, the FO voice volume is somewhat erratic. I have the FO set to play through the speakers, and during flight the FO's voice will sometimes be very low in volume with an occasional jump back to the volume I set in the CFG panel. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FS2Crew and patched it to the SP3 update. I also have FS2Crew for the PMDG MD-11 and the Wilco 737 voice commander edition installed. Anyone else experience this?

First when i'am on 2d view and i open a panel (overhead e.t.c) the recognition program stops responding and every time i have to close in and restart it with voice button. Then when i try to start engines on virtual cockpit something happens and i cannot see around only in front. Any suggestions????Regards, Vagelis Drivas

Bryan: I run a very civil and polite cockpit on my flights. I am so into the flight I constantly catch myself saying "thank you" to the FO after he acknowledges completino of a task but never get a polite "you're welcome" or "no problem" or my personal favorite from Sarah Palin, "you betcha" back. Could you possibly teach the FO some manners and have him respond to "thank you" or perhaps "thanks"? LOVE the Crew!! Mike B.

Hello there,Bought FS2CREW for Maddog recently, and I have yet to complete a flight. Looks and feels brilliant though. Two main issues:1. Headset.I use a USB headset in addition to the regular speakers. On the FS2CREW config I have chosen the USB headset, and I have pressed the HS button, but the sound still appears in the speakers.I have tried maybe 5-6 times total, and one time it was OK, other times the voice was in the speakers. Cannot find out what I did differently, when it worked ?2. FO doesn't say anything, just goes to work.Quite rude, he doesn't even ask me how my day is .... I have seen other people in the forum mention this, so I will study the posts more for …
