This is really getting frustrating. I have had only 1 successful flight with this aircraft, the very first one. Now I am getting a Crash to Desktop while in the FMC programming my flight. This happens with when I click on the dep/arr button then click on departure for my departure airport, I can not get any farther than this. Any suggestions? I have Windows 7 (yes I installed with run as adminstrator) and FSX

Hi there! As the topic states, a small update for this great product, giving the possibility of assigning a soft mute button, would be awesome!

Just downloaded and installed the Maddog. So far, so good. Trying to read through the manual page-by-page and get it right. But I'm stuck on page 40 of the User Manual: If the format for Maddog does not appear in the menu choose the format for the PMDG. After installation start the Manager & Setup, the application will recognize that new AIRAC have been installed, will automatically move all the files to the folder <fsroot>\MADDOG2008\SIDSTARS and run the MD_Cleanup in background. I subscribe to the Navigraph FMS data, and I currently have 3 separate items that use the data: the PMDG 737NGX, the FS1 MD-80 Super Pro, and FS Commander (for planning). I am …

Before I go and install the new patch for the LHMD80 I was just wondering if anyone has tested it with FS2C. Don't want to break it with the new patch. Let me know! -Rick

Aloha. I've reinstalled my MD after purchasing another terabit drive and moving all my FS stuff to a dedicated drive. I've reinstalled FS2C but it's not entering the entries into the panel.cfg file. Here's the steps I take: 1. Install FS2C 2. Load MD config manager and uncheck FO calls and choose wide 2D panel 3. Choose C&D after clicking ok. I can see that FS2C has renamed the files to "backup" but looking in the cfg file I see no entries in there for FS2C. I tried using the SP3 for FS2C as well and cycling the panel via the FS2C MD control panel and no go. Any clues? -Rick

Hello, I have FS2Crew 2010 for MAddog for fs9 with SP3 installed and when I load the aircraft at any airport I have an average of 20 FPS in external view and 8 FPS in 2D cockpit view. Before installation I used to have an average of 80/ 30 FPS with MAddog and no FS2Crew. Is there any solution? Thanks in advance!! ps. Awesome addon

I just started using the MadDog Voice Commander and think it's great. I am wondering if the check list names, challenge, and responses can be modified by the user? I would be a fantastic training tool if I could customize it to my company procedures and SOPs.

Bryan, any chance you could update the Maddog with some captain announcements and briefings like the NGX?

And the problem is that when I come to this announcement there is no way I can make fs2crew recognise the word 'now'. I try as hard as I can to pronounce the w after no but it doesn't help. Using Win 7 dictation also shows that the voice recognition thibnk I'm saying 'no' or 'know' or something more weird. I do speak as clearly as I can and close to the microphone. But otherwise fs2crew recognises fairly well what I say.

Ok, to be honest, it took me about 3 weeks to do a successful flight using the autoland feature on this plane. Mainly because the auto pilot doesn't like to follow the altitude constraints in the FMC on descent. Always came in to high to capture the G/S. But, after numerous forum visits I discovered the best descent rules to follow on this aircraft is V/S mode. Now have multiple autoland and manual landings completed and must say, this is one cool aircraft. And with my FS2 F/O beside me, all I can say is, SWEET! Thanks Bryan for another amazing product. Almost like this one more than the NGX........ ALMOST!

Good morning, I bought your pack for this great aircraft the day you released it. But due to limitations with my SO (Spanish), I can not use it if I not change the configuration of my PC regarding language, what gives me problems during standard use.Is there any option that you will create a button control for Maddog? Thanks for your support and great products.Best regards,Ińigo Bayo

Hey Bryan. Well, after much arm twisting and hearing how great the Maddog is, I finally broke down and purchased the Pro 2010 version as well as your Voice edition for the Maddog. Have only had a chance to set up my ezdok, trakir, AES and FSUIPC controls so haven't flown the bird yet but I must say, the website screen shots don't do this plane any justice. Wow! Great detail. Am looking forward to a first tutorial flight with my FO by my side. Wish me luck....lol. See you on the NGX side.

Hi, I created this tutorial simply combining the three parts of the manual crew flows, checklists and contact ground for all dialogs in sequence without having to print three manuals.good flightAndrea :(

I am having trouble when telling my FO to set an altitude or verbally tell him the correct altimeter. Certain numbers and phrases are being misread, I ran the speech tutorial where you read the 9 or 10 paragraphs to train the PC to my voice, but is there a way to further refine it. It is difficult to tell him to input a NAV frequency, Altitude, and altimeter setting. Any ideas?Angelo Cosma

Hello,[[A few hours ago I posted the (almost) the same post as below, but now I'm unable to find it, there goes a second try]] - Sorry for the repost. ________________________________Since a few days ago I am a new costumer of this great product, the FS2Crew for Leonard's Maddog. For the time being I haven't been successful in making my F/O understand me, for all the commands I say he keeps doing something else or read-backs something that has nothing to do with what I say.Same goes for the cabin crew.I thought that the voice recognition is not working properly due to the headset (I have tried two different headsets for now). Then I thought it may be the region thing. My …

All, I have just uploaded a file to AVSIM that provides a kneeboard file to replace the existing checklist file. This file provides a procedure from cold & dark, through full flight procedures and checklists, through to shutdown. Have procedures calls, commands and responses available via the FSX kneeboard. I tried making small flip-charts, but this method seems to work best for me. Put the kneeboard window on a second monitor for even more convenience. Go to AVSIM and search for "MD82VCKBR01.zip" under the category: Miscellaneous Files - General Utilities. File name explanation: "MD82" = The aircraft.""VC" = Voice Commander."KB" = Kneeboard."R01" = Revision 01 I h…

With 9 minutes to go, I cannot hear the Flight Attendant give her announcement. When I turn on the (can't remember button, but it activates the FA audio) and rotate the mouse wheel, the yellow number will only advance to "1". But still no joy on the FA's announcements... Any advice?

Given that Fs2Crew is pretty hard work at the best of times, I am put off from trying this on the basis that with the added layer of frustration added by voice-activation issues, I can see this sending me totally mad !Any chance of a standard version ?Oh, and BTW, while I'm here, is it possible to set the COM and NAV radios, as well as the MCP data ?I use F! View in FS9, so the middle mouse zooms the ccokpit, making it impossible to set values in the MCP in the VC. I have to fly from the 2D cockpit much of the time. As such, it may be worth getting just to enable voice control of VS, Speed and LAtitude changing and arming.Thnx.

I've been enjoying Flight Simulator for decades (since Bruce Artwick's FS for the C64),and most recently learning the intricacies of the Leonardo Maddog.. I believe I'm far enough along the learning curve to appreciate and explore the benefits that "FS2Crew2010: Leonardo Maddog Voice Commander Edition" can add to the enjoyment of operating this aircraft. My problem is the VOICE RECOGNITION in the FS2Crew Panel will not activate.I've walked through the FS2Crew manual for Pre-start setup before I start FS2Crew. I start FS2Crew and everything seems to function (countdown clock, crew (FO & FA) voices, etc.), but when I left-click the VOICE RECOGNITION Box in the FS2Cre…
