Hey everyone this is a bit of a follow up to my earlier post.I found this cable on amazon.comNow I know my logitech z680s support an optical cable. This particular one comes with a mini jack adapter which would plug in to the Audigy 2 ZS standard. The question is will this work to provide digital sound from the digital out on the audigy 2zs and does the zs support optical cable? I just installed an new ATI Radeon 9800 Pro on my P4 2.0 gig 512RAMBUS machine and I even uped the PS to 350watts.My FPS in clouds are decent at~15 where I was in the 8-10 in a PMDG 737 2D panel.My previous card was a Ti4200 64meg and my ?? are I am not seeing a big boost here.I sre AA at 2X and AF as well and am running 3.9 downloaded from ATI.When I sit at KLAX SIMFLYERS I am getting around 5 FPS no better than my p[revios card.WHAT SHOULD I DO.Here is the section of my FS9 config file as well.PLEASE HELP b4 I retun this and try the FX5900.[DISPLAY]Mode=1280x1024x32MipBias=5TriLinear=1TextureAGP=0PanelAsTexture=0UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=25TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=100THANKS

Hi,I hope this is posted to the correct forumI have just updated my cpu from am AMD 1.4 athlon to a 2600+XP(Barton). Everything seems to be working fine after I updated Epox 8RGA+ bios to recognise new processor but I see no increase in frame rates in fs2004. Does anyone know if I need to reinstall fs2004 or is there something else I'm missing. Love the clouds hate the framerate. I need a new graphics card.system is 2.8GhzP4 AsusP4P800 512Mb Ram.Current card is FX5200, everything works great until the weather closes in, those beatiful clouds really kill the frame rate...It looks like the next major upgrade (FX5900 or ATI9800) is going to cost around $400.Is there any point in looking for something cheaper? if I do spend the $$$ will it fix the problem?Geoff

In an attempt to help a friend out with cash problems for Christmas, I offered to take a used monitor off his hands. The thing is, I have no idea at all what amount to offer him. As I recall, it's a Dell monitor (770 series?) 17" 1600 x 1200 in very good condition, used only for a home/office stuff, not long hours of gaming. HiI've just upgraded my system to the spec listed in my signature but feel slightly dissapointed with the scores obtained in 3DMark2001.With the standard configuration, i got a score of 10886. When deciding on which mobo to go for, the Neo2 was chosen based on test results up in the 13000's running on equivalent setups.The 9600pro is currently running the latest ohmega drives.Now, do you think i'm being over critical with my score or should i have good reason to be concerned.Your opinions would be most welcome.Gary

hey guys i have a Socket 478 motherboard and i have a P42.8GHZ i want to overclock it to 3.2ghz would it be possible with this fan .Coolermaster Aero 4 Lite (Socket 478) (HS-009-CM) it says it can go upto 3.2ghz and i quote "The Coolermaster Aero 4 Lite is capable of cooling upto 3.2GHz P4 processors" so would that meen i could get upto that without my pc crashing ? ive tried it on this fan it crashes when it reaches 3.0ghz i have it on 2.9Ghz atm and its running perfect but i would like 3.2ghz anyway hope you lot can help :-) thanks

Hi,folks..yesterday i downloaded Catalyst3.9 in ATI web.but this version of driver always crash my FS2004.then I install catalyst3.8 instead , but 3.8 crash FS2004 too.what problem with this, is ATI bug or not? Now only catalyst3.7 works fine for me.may everyone help me! Thanks..

Does anyone have experience with Sager Notebooks? I need to replace mine and they offer a tremendous amount of horsepower for the money. I undersand they have been around for about 15 years and they sell a unit made by a Taiwan company called Clevo. Clevo makes the same platform available to Alienware and other custom builders. I'm giving it serious thought but I'd like to be sure the company is going to stay in business if I do.

My daughter lives in Australia, and I have an old PC that I am thinking of sending to her (I made this one myself). I will install a modem, but are modems made for the US market useable in Australia? What type of changes would be required to a modem in Australia?Any other issues?
