FS2CREW: PMDG MD-11

HiStill learning the product. Getting the hang of it. My only problem (or user error ;P) is the A/T logic on landing. Prior to FS2Crew, I would hand fly but still allow the A/T system to assist in appropriate weather conditions. At about 50 ft AGL the A/T would bring the throttles back to idle allowing me to add reversers. However, after I call for "LAND" on final with the A/T still engaged while using FS2Crew, My throttles go to max or only what I can assume to be GA mode. Why is this the case as it is not MD-11 logic?Or is it user error?Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was in a situation comming into Taipei where I got chopped and dropped by radar contact (not to unusuall). Anyway I am doing 250 with speed brakes out on 10 mile final because computer programs cannot think. Normally I would have had the gear down a while back but I was afraid that when I got to the gear down part in fs2crew he would put the gear up instead because it was down. Will this happen? I was afraid to do it and as a result was totally unstabilised and finishing up the before landing out of 300 feet. Not good. I got a good one for you guys and gals lol. I go to engine start flow in FS2Crew and when I hit 15 Percent I switch the fuel on, and my co pilot does not say (15 percent) until it reaches 45 percent, at which point he says parameters stabalized, even though thats not supposed to happen until 65 percent ha ha. I know that all sounds confusing but if anyone can make anything of it let me know. I'm guessing a reinstall of MD-11/FS2crew is in order eh?Nate

Hi there,I've just resently got my self a GF TQ6 throttle and after installing latest driver for this and only assigning the throttle levelers and reversers, my pushbuttons on the CH yoke doesnt work after assigning them in the FS2crew start centre (april 2009). I have the combo version, FS9 and FSX for PMDG MD11What I do have noticed is that when using push button #9 and #10 on the yoke (assigned in the controll centre), I have seen that in the PMDG MD11 aircraft.cfg the FS2Crew sentre have assigned push button #10 and #11. The assignment is for the green and red button.I also have the latest CH driver installed and tripple checked that there is no other assignments for …

Hi,I wonder if Fs2Crew MD11 FS9 can handle emergencies occuring / initiated by FSPassenger use for every flight. I set the chance to 5%, sometimes I set it up to 10% for every flight. Nothing happens for most of my flights, but something can happen anytime. So, does FS2Crew handle problems or do I have to take all controle about any emergencies?

Hi,FS9 always crashes when shuting down with FS2crew installed for PMDG's MD11. It works fine until I exit FS...then I get an error message...(not an OOM message, by the way)...It's a bit of a pain...especially because the crash happens before I get a chance to use my logbook. I've uninstalled your program and used just the plane with no such problems....any help would be appreciated.BobOS-XP, sp3, 32bit

I ask that because I am totally spoiled on how good the i fly S Crew is and I am wondering if some of those changes will make it into the MD-11, and I will also volunteer to beta test that as well. I am an absolute fan of FS crew having beta tested the Ifly, you do outstanding work keep it up.

Hello fellow Virtual Md11 Pilots, please can anyone help me on this as i have spent all day trying to get this to work( FS2 Crew for the Md11). when i first bought it and installed it work ok. but know when i had to re-install and i followed what the info said and it wont work when u load up the md11 there is no fs2crew panels. i have deleted the fsx.cfg file i then put a fresh install of fsx and still not working?. everything that i do i run in administrator mode but nothing seems to be working. so please, please, if anyone knows how to fix the problem could you please help solve the problem. Hi! Just purchased FS2Crew yesterday for the MD-11 and I have a problem. After disconnecting the start crew the plane begins to roll backwards and never stops. I tried resetting the parking brake, braking manually or using FULL thrust, but to no effect! What could be causing this? Thanks in advance! Edit: Problem solved.....the fault was by me.

Why would FS2CREW be cycling through all the commands up to the descent checlist when I retract the gear? It's causing the jet to stall at low altitude because the flaps/slats are retracted prematurely requiring quick interaction on my part to keep the bird flying. I'm using FS9, Win7 (64 bit), all patches installed for FS and Windows. Thanks for the help.

Hello I'm doing a multi screen set up in FSX and Fs2Crew Md 11 but I'm using PMDG's panel config file that allows you to undock the Capts instruments. For some reason the FS2Crew program will not work when this panel file is loaded. Has anyone a solution for this issue?Thank you,Lonnie

I recently installed fs2004 on my windows 7 64bit system. Everything works fine until i installed the update 1 for the fs2crew md11. With FS2CREW MD 11 without update all appears to work. After the update is installed the main problem happens. If i at any point i try to load a PMDG MD11 (from the Aircraft menu>select aircraft) after starting a flight in any aircraft, fs2004 stops working and the windows message saying it has stopped working appears and the the restart message appears. Without the FS2Crew installed the MD11 and fs2004 is fine. Then with the normal FS2Crew program it works. The issue is after the update is installed. I hope this makes sense, any…

Hello,after doing some flights in countries where Transition Level (TL) was FL150, I've noticed that during descent, one sentence is missing. Here is the situation.the MD11 is in descent. Passing the Transition Level (FL150), we should hear something like :Transition Level, Altimeter One Zero One Five, crosschecked at Thirteen thousand feet" and when I pass thru 13000ft I should press the secondary button to say "TOP".BUT the only thing I hear is : "Transition Level, Altimeter". And nothing else.I noticed that the problem does not appear if the TL is lower like FL060 or FL080.And it also OKAY during climb when the Transition Altitude is 13000ft for example.

I have to reinstall PMDG MD11X .Installation completed without any problem. But,when I tried, several times to install Fs2Crew, I was getting black screen for Fs2Crew control panels.I also noticed , FSX opened without, Fs2Crew "gauges" mini installation screens. :( Will you please advise. :( Thanks

Hi, I have a problem or a question more or less I was doing an IFR flight to RDU from DFW and got a message fromthe "crew" about a pax that had a heart attack how often does this actually happen,I was unaware FS2crew did this, nice and very realistic. Of course Vatsim ATC was very understandable about my landing at Atlantaunplanned. Hi BryanI have recently lost my red & and green buttons using my Saitek Pro Flight yoke. Everything was working perfectly using the 5&6 yoke buttons then it stopped working. No changes, no new drivers installed, just lost the yoke control for these two buttons. The keyboard works fine and i can assign the 5&6 buttons to do other tasks in Fs9 so i know they are working ok, but it will not control the red & green button function anymore.Ive reset the start center with no luck. Bryan,Over my many years of flightsimming, I have been trained to toggle the landing lights when passing above and below 10K ft. FS Flight Keeper, Radar Contact, and FS Passengers all log this event and credit the respective scores for proper opperation.Why is FS2Crew turning off the landing lights immediately after take-off (right after gear up)? I fully undertand the need to turn off the taxi lights at gear up, but certainly not the landing lights. Since there doesn't seem to be a FS2Crew key assignment for landing lights that I can disable (guessing a clickspot is in use), how else can I disable the FO turning off the landing lights?

Hello Bryan,It is an IVAO's standard procedure to set IVAP's Squawk to standby when the runway is vacated after landing.I've noticed a little issue with FS2Crew procedure when calling the "After Landing Checklist".The F/O is turning the squawk to XPDNR instead of Standby on the radio panel.When doing this, it does not set IVAP's squawk to Standby. I have to manually set the MD11 squawk to standby (to turn off IVAP's squawk) OR set IVAP to standby which is giving me a little more work to do while trying to follow the yellow line on the taxiway ;-)IS it possible to have a little patch so the F/O sets the squawk to standby instead of XPDNR.

MorningIn the passenger version I cannot bring up the air traffic window without holding down or repeatedly holding down the ~ key for the window to appear and use it. Also the same situation arises when I attempt to use the acceleration mode the window does not appear and I need to go into window mode to accelerate. Any ideas?Thanks I really enjoy FS2Crew.
