FS2CREW: PMDG MD-11

Hi all, Something very fishy has occurred,I am trying to go through FS2Crew MD11 in FS9. So, I look for Inchon or Seoul,or even S Korea.Nothing Korea doesn`t appear in the world in FS9.You don`t suppose those guys up north have been firing off their rockets do you? Anyone had the same experience,or can point me in the right direction,don`t say East.I know it exists as I was there in 1958. Thanks all,Alan Critcher :(

Morning Bryan! I'm posting for a friend of mine that does not have access to the internet at the moment. Lucky dog is on vacation in Hawaii. :-) Anyway, he has a Saitek yoke (and pedals+ 2 throttle quads) and the MD version does not recognize his button assignments for FS2C. FSUIPC reports the button #'s as 6 & 7 and the control panel reports them as 7 & 8. He's tried both combos and still it will not recognize the buttons. I've asked him to make sure that neither FSX nor any other software is catching those assignments and he assures me that nothing else is installed that would do so. Hello,FS9 and FS2crew updated.After T/O the FO calls for gear up, but only the MMG goes up and the others stay in red. Also from the joystick or keyboard doens't work. Anybody else with this problem? Regards,John

After I initially purchased FS2Crew for the MD-11, I recall that everything seemed to work as advertised. Not too long after the purchase, I ran into trouble trying to udate my NVIDIA drivers; FS91 went into a BSOD after 8 hours of flying (7.5 fine, 8 forget it). Make a long story short, things only got sorted out after a system restore. Right after that, I updated FSUIPC, but I had problems with that until I read Pete's suggestion about deleting the old ini (or cfg, whatever). During this time, I must have installed the MD-11 & FS2Crew at least three times since the roll back killed the initial installation. I deleted FS2Crew another two times, followed by reins…

In the PMDG forum is stated: Can you say something about what will be updated in the next version? I thought all the errors/bugs were gone now, so do you add something in the new update?

Since I upgraded to the latest release of the start centre, there is a noticable pause before the start centre opens after the icon is clicked on the desktop. The previous version opened instantly where now I see a box with nothing in it for a period of time and then the program opens properly. Once opened the program works fine. Is this OK?Andrew

I have just downloaded FSCrew MD11 version 2 and was wondering whether I still need to download and install service update 2. In other words does FSCrew MD11 version 2 already incorporate service update 2 ?Thanks in advanceAndrew

Hi,Beeing very glad with the FS2Crew MD11 for FS9 version a problem occured.....On intercepting the ILS and selecting the green button to lower the gear, the FO selects gear downbut immediately followed by the Go-Around mode.This results in bring the gear up again and retracting the Flaps till certain extent.Clicking the modes back on the left arrow in the FS2C main screen and try again brings nothingclicking the arrow on the right brings nothing too.Also repressing the green button or pressing the red button brings nothing too.When i ignore FS2Crew and lower Flaps and gear again and continue my ILS landingFS2C is still freezed on the Go-Around mode after landing so i can…

Greetings,I'm having some difficulty with FS Crew, Radar Contact, and PMDG MD-11 for FS9. Anytime I run FS Crew I can't use Radar Conact related Keys (i.e. #1 or #2 for specific ATC communication). When FS crew is disabled, I can utilize RC.Any ideas?Thanks,Rob S.

Hi,In the British voice set, when I brief the approach, the US captain's voice cuts in for a few seconds about halfway into the brief, then back to the British captain. Is there something wrong with my setup, or do you hear the same?Also, with the altimeter set to HP, I'm getting the barometer read out in InHg instead of HP. As far as I remember this is handled correctly with the US voice set.Tom

Making a lot of hours now in the MD11 with FS2crew.Only noticed something.When preforming the pushback, the groundengineer our towtruckdriver who talks to me, is always giving handsignal at LH side. Well not a problem because we don't see him. butlooking at the other products of fs2crew the handsignal is always on the side the tail is going to be pushbacked. So yesterday i had a pushback with tail to right and still the handsignal was on the LH side...Not a big issue but it is i think the finishing touch.... Peter

Hello,I have just bought Fs2crew for the FS9 MD11 and have three querstions:1. The FO seems to turn on the transponder 18 mins before engine start whilst at the gate. With FS2crew for 747, FO would put transponder into Charlie mode whilst taxiing for take off. When you fly with Vatsim, they seem to prefer that your transponder remains in standy mode whilst at the gate. If there a reason why the FO does this so early and anyway to change this?2. The manual states that if you want to arm Nav and Prof on the ground rather than FO do it after take off, cycle to 'climb and clean up' and right click green PN button until it says 'F' for flaps. Would it be possible to add the option where you leave out everything the captain says. Instead you read the captain's checklist part, the briefing and all that stuff and make the FO respond by klicking the green button. Probably another one of my bad ideas, but they always seem so right when I ask them! :)
