I have the MD11 in P3D and I want FS2Crew for it.

Before I buy it, can anyone who has the old Lady, FS2Crew and P3D test it.

Does somebody know if FS2CREW MD 11 works in FSX-SE? I did not find the answer anywhere so may be it doesn't!

First, I know this product is older than that old, but I pulled the MD-11 and the FS2Crew add-on out last night for the first time in awhile.  Second, I searched this and found another thread but it seemed to get hung up on how it got into GA mode, not getting out.  I'm trying to figure out what I did wrong procedurally that I couldn't get the software to advance.  

Here's what happened:  While on final, I accidentally hit my mapped red button and it started the go around sequence. I panicked because it started pulling flaps up at low speed, and I didn't want to stall.  Eventually got it stable and flying on the GA path I wanted and went to re-set up the approach.  No dice.  Couldn't get the FS2Crew to budge into a different mode using the arrows and neither green nor red button did anything.  Had to land all alone (sad face).  As an additional data point, my GA was a bit of a mess, so I was definitely not doing the correct procedure.  

So, my question is: does anyone know if FS2Crew will automatically advance back to approach?  If so, what's the trigger event that I blew? I guess it's also possible that I crashed the add-on, as it didn't seem to be otherwise working, Although, it did work when I landed and called to disarm slides, so i don't think that's it.  Any thoughts?  I suppose it could also be a bug where it hangs in GA mode, but I'm betting on pilot error as the mostly likely cause.

If I disable the FS2 CFG changes and keyboard commands the aircraft loads normally. Honestly I am about done with all these so called "cockpit enhancement programs", none of them work. FDC is also a big pile of buggy garbage. I could have taken off and landed by now but instead here I am posting on a forum where I seriously doubt any real answers will be obtained.

No, I am not going to re-install again, after doing it twice with the same outcome that obviously is not the solution so please dont mention it. My finger is hovering over the uninstall and send to trash bin options right now as I just want to fly and not have to go through all kinds of nonsense with broken programs. Do you have a solution? Because I have the ultimate solution if not.

I read about similar issues, but I don't think the one I'm having is quite the same one laid out in the manual and FAQs. In any case, I can't figure out what to do. I've looked in that file and there does appear to be an FS2crew entry in that file. I'm on W7 64x, running the Start Center as admin, and even tried running it with UAC disabled.

I notice when I use the start centre and select updates, I get an error 404 - not found message. I guess I can do these manually ok, and doubt there will be any further updates. Just wondered if this message was warning me of other issues down the track with fs2crew?

I just downloaded my FS2crew for my PMDG MD-11 FSX and followed the instruction exactly. Everything went well but when I try to open the the FS2crew main panel from the CRT screen nothing opens up. I applied all the updates and still cannot open the main screen to start FS2crew.   I am in 2D panel, tried both full and window screens and still nada! See please give me some advice.

Background: I have installed new programs AS Next, REX 4, PFE (we dont get along), PFPX, and PMDG 777LR.. :hi:

Maybe because of the 777 the PMDG MD 11 got instabil - just a wild guess. Suddenly the fasten seatbelt sounds and alike disappeared and said strange "brum"-sounds...

So I repaired everything

The UK EU voice sets are gone - well installed into fsx, but not in the FS2Crew 2009 start center menu..  :wacko: 

I have register cleaned everything MD 11 and FS2crew.. repaired and overwrite installed Not uninstalled though.

Voice sets: Don't know how to uninstall an exe file that are to be found nowhere. As seen on the picture it can't be seen in "remove or edit program" :Nerd:

At times my landing lights won't be activated by the FO when going below 10k, (this happens most times).

Last night my checklist order would not automatically o to the next section - final cockpit prep>before start flow etc etc, and if I moved it manually usin te right arrow key, when it sould have been on the before start flow, it read out the  final cockpit prep checklist.

There are a few minor things like this - is it down to me by changing views? going to spot view etc at wrong times or something?

IRS wont be shut down most times also.

Question though, - at what point do I do a hyd pressure test?

Currently I use fs2crew with this bird and looking into getting FSC,

I am trying the demo, but cannot get the mcdu to display - possibly due to the 49 window thing? - when I install it using the FSC acars installer, the acars gauge goes into "50" FCDU" but it does not display, - is this because I have already reached my "49 windows"

How do others configure this? - I have it installed in the caravan 208 and it seems to work ok.

I will also post this in the fs2crew forum, to try get more hits

I will have a few other questions, like configuring callouts etc etc, but all in good time
