FS2CREW: PMDG MD-11

Hi!Just got the FS2Crew for MD11 (FSX). I apologize if my question is dumb, but is the FO supposed to talk during the cockpit preparation? You see, when I click on "Start" cockpit preparation (as instructer in manual), the CPT and FO only speak a few words, following by silence. It feels kind of silly that, for example, the eng fire test starts to ring suddently and the FO doesn't indicate in any way that he is starting the fire test. I hope you understand what I mean

Hello,I have a small problem with the voices:When starting the engines on the main fs2crew-panel I see "engine start 3".Then I click the green button and I hear: "starting enigine 3", "ready", "15 %", "fuel on" at the same time. It is not played one by one, it is played at the same time.Starting engine 1 is ok........all voice-commands are played in regulary order with the correct pauses between the single voice-files..But again with engine 2 I have the same problems, that the voice-files are played at the same time.This happens not every time I use fs2crew. Some time it works as planned, the other time the strange overlapping of the voice-files happens.I don't use keyboa…

I bought FS2Crew MD11 a couple of days ago. Installation was easy and the programme seemed to work without problems. During the first flight in the mid-air before TOD, all of a sudden the whole FS2004 shut down, without warnings or explanation.The same has happened every time I tried, the only difference between them is that sometimes the FS shuts down while the plane still on the ground.So all seems to be fine, and then it just closes..Any idea what might be the reason??thanx G.

Could I possibly have a list of all 2D instrument panels used by FS2Crew for the FS9 MD11?

Hi there, I recently purchased FSPassengers and found it very unique. I decided to use FS2Crew and FSPax together. Everything works good but the problem only occurs from Takeoff Run to After Takeoff Clean Up parts. When you ask F.O to engage AT, he doesn't do engage it. Instead, the F.O from FSPax says "GPWS flap warning disabled". After that, when you ask F.O to engage AF, and PN, nothing happens. The F.O just says "Autoflight Engaged" but doesn't engage it. But after that, everything works fine (Retracting flaps and others). The GPWS is disabled from FSPax options. Any solution for this?Thanks.

Not sure? but let you know if you have experienced this!PMDG MD11F, when parking is on at beginning of pre flight, the RED banner on bottom left hand of the screen which indicates parking breaks set does NOT appear. (only when using MD11F). I use FS2crew and the procedures for preflight indicate certain times parking brakes should not be on. Now the panel shows brakes are on, but the RED banner does not appear, and GCP(this is the FSCars system I use for my virtual airline) does not recognize it is on thus, I cannot load my flight.Then after push back and about to start my engines, the RED banner now appears and thus I can loa…

Hello:Well I purchased this product but have yet to install. Mostly because I like to read up on the manual and etc. and do some additional learning before I install on my machine. I've noticed that you recommend starting FS2Crew in the 2D cockpit instead of the VC. Is this a necessity to use the product?I use Triple Head2Go for all my flights which requires the VC to be used. I cannot load a non-distorted 2D. Thus, my default Cessna is set up to load in the VC which makes everything else load that way. I realize that you can change this but is it necessary?Why do you suggest 2D on start up? Any info would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!

Timing of pasenger loading can be accomplished by unchecking the option to "Automatically start boarding" from within the XPax options menu. This way I can begin boarding manually using XPax following FS2Crew's EVAC and emergency lights test.Here is the conflict I encounter...1. Hi Bryan, I truly love the realism your product adds to the flightsim environment. So far, I have the PMDG MD-11 version for both FS9 and FSX, and I am looking to purchase more, although I am in somewhat of a quandry. This is because I have PMDGs747 for both FS9 and FSX,similarly, Flight 1s ATR 72-500 for both, Level-Ds 767 for both. Your FlightCrewX and Heavy Hitters only have mostly one or the other and, additionally, nixing the Heavy Hitters, is the fact that I already own the MD-11 version, and cannot 'afford ' redundancy !!! Morning all, Would anyone know how to manage the fuel load for this A/C - It doesn't seem to load with the load manager - do we have to work it all out ourselves and fill up from the menu shortcuts ! Hello,I'm using FSX PMDG MD11 FS2crew but after some hours of flying and monitoring i found a small problem.Directly after take off, when gear slected up, the FO switch off all landing lights. That from the nose gear i can understand but also the Landing lights and RWY turnoff lights.These should be on untill reaching 10.000FT.I searched in oure AOM and procedure manual of the MD11 (Martinair) but they also discribe to let those lights on untill 10.000ftIs there a bug our is this normal and programmed?Regards Peter

MD-11 I'm at Seattle KSEA at the Gate. Did not create a flight-plan with FSX. I enter KSEA/YVCR this is Vancouver Canada into the MCDU, getting Not found error. Entering KSEA/KSFO (Sanfrancisco) this is working. Why missing Vancouver? I did had flights there before with the MFSX installed planes. Herb

If you are advised by ATC to enter an enroute holding fix, or you require a hold, to burn excess fuel; is there any easy way to program the fix into the FMC without losing the original FP? Or is it simpler to just to hand fly the fix using standard rate turns and legs? Yes I know that MSFS doesn't require holds but occasionally VATSIM does.Thanks,Eric

Hi All,I just purchased the MD-11 for FSX a week ago, and given that it is such a complex aircraft, I was wondering if FS crew will essentially get the plane configured for me for the different phases of flight. I am a bit embarrassed to say it, but I actually am a real world private pilot; unfortunately when it comes to learning complex jet addons systems, I get a bit lazy. Anyway, I tried running the MD-11 tutorial, and of course ran out of time and gave up. I am hoping that this is where FS Crew can help. Just a few quick question before I click the purchase button for the FS2Crew MD11.1. Is there a way to take control of the aircraft lights away from the FO? perhaps an option in the cfg? Bryan,My PC crashed. I am reinstalling every thing again. I just installed PMDG-MD11X . Then I reinstalled Fs2Crew MD-11X version. I opened the MD-11X, all panel gauges was turn dark . I uninstalled Fs2Crew all panel gauges back to normal. Same thing happened with PMDG-747X .After unistalled Fs2Crew for PMDG747X all gauges back to normal.It looks like there is some kind Fs2Crew validation problem?Please adviseSanal

I may have already posted this question somewhere but when I looked I couldn't find it. Sorry if I doubled up. Anyway here goes...I don't know what i've done. I had to re-install my MD-11. Before that, FS2Crew was available in the Panel State selections. Now I've downloaded the relevant FS2 service updates, the new Start Centre and followed the configuration instructions. However FSCrew doesn't appear in my Panel State. I can see that both PMDG and FS2Crew are in the Flight Sim X file but they are separate files and obviously not connecting with one another.
