Hello,I has download the Tileproxy project BETA4 for FS9, but it still not working!I think there are 3 problems: 1)The lines who are in the Proxyuser are wrong. 2)The FDSconnection module is not up to date. 3)There is a problem for downloading google earth textures to fs9.Please HELP ME, and discribe what i have to do in order to resolve this problem and to have splandid results of TP in FS9!

Hi there.Starting today, I'll be flying with FS Global 2008 from Pilot's (Austria). That's a whopping 12.3 GB of high resolution terrain meshes on my hard drive.I also have Active Sky X and X Graphics to enhance the weather and textures.I'll keep you posted how all of this harmonizes with TileProxy.

am getting horrible graphics. Blurred out, no detail...NOTHING like others are showing. What gives?I have not adjusted my driver settings from what great graphics I had before running T.P.Any suggestions...now really bummed out...Mitch

Do you think there will come a time (soon) when tileproxy can be downloaded and stored on the pc instead of streaming. The benefits would no doubt be less lag and less bandwidth etc. Any thoughts etc?Brad.

I did a 20 minute hack and slapped together an app that outputs a KML file for use in Google Earth. It shows the areas that are covered by BGL files, and it is much easier to spot any missing areas with this.To test this, load the attached file and unzip it and use "Load..." from the Google Earth application to load it into Google Earth. The yellow squares on the globe mark all covered areas in Tileproxy Beta 4.Scenery designers could use this kind of display to more accurately pinpoint BGL file names. If I put more work into this, I could also outline the larger folders which cover an area of 8x8 of smaller BGLs.Christian

Nothing to do with TP -fabulous program SPOILED by SP1 .How do I go back to original FSX as I dont have SP1 showing in add/remove which is the right way to dump it; without having to reinstal FSX PITAwill there ever be a cure for the blurs?Rich

Just figured out that Avast 4.7766 virus scanner for Windows 2003 Server x64 Edition blocks TP. By stopping the several scanner engines it works fine now. TP does some crazy hooking stuff ? Hello,I've only FS9 installed on my computer.I installed tileproxy beta4 (last version).I modified the proxyuser.ini file (for connecting to g.... server).But when I launch the load.bat file I've an error about ProxyUser.exe that is invalid : The system cannont execute this program.Moreover I tried to install manually SimConnect.msi but I've also an error : Error reading file. I verify the security right and it's ok and I've Framework.NET 2.0I've no solution.I need help.Thank you by advance.

Christian, I have been trying now for a while to get the program to work. I have an AMD2 64 4200 with 4g ram and a EVGA 7900 video card. My interpretation of what to do with the Config file is as follows. What is wrong or what have I missed. I tried all sorts of configs using what others have successfully used. Hey guys,I finally got around to trying TP out last night and I'm seriously impressed! Christian you have some serious programming chops man... I'm having an issue with it though:Basically the higher res versions of the images never load in once I'm past maybe a half a mile from the point where I load the sim. I'm pretty sure the tiles themselves are being downloaded, it's just that the sim doesn't actually update the blurrier low-res ones to higher res.I sat there with the sim paused over top of this type of thing for 30+ minutes and it never updated them to the really sharp high res ones you see when you first start.Like this:http://www.progressivetranscriptions.com/…

Yay! I've been able to dynamically change which BGL files get used by FSX. This is done by changing the filenames in the filesystem filter when FSX wants to open the BGLs.When tileproxy is not running, it will see BGLs with landclass 254 ("transparent landclass"). I.e. you get default terrain. Once tileproxy is running and ENABLED, you will get photoreal terrain. Now on to program a "disable" switch ;)Now hypothetically speaking, if those BGLs weren't compressed, I could be changing default landclasses on the fly in my filesystem filter. Talk about landclass as you go ;) This could be a new online business model. Landclass subscription with frequent updates.Christian

How can I let TP (TileProxy) access the Internet without DISABLING NORTON ANTI-virus entirely?? It makes me very nervous to leave my system completely vulnerable while I'm flying online...Any ideas ?????
