I need to know how to properly adjust stick sensitivity. I am experimenting with a game controller I got for Christmas a couple of years ago. I don't know the brand (ElCheapo I think), but it does have a switch for analog control for the two joysticks. I have successfully mapped the right stick for yoke and the left stick for rudder/throttle. I am very happy overall with the functionality except for the sensitivity. I have played with the sliders in the game, I have adjusted the effectiveness settings in the aircraft.cfg all to no joy. It's either way too sensitive where small elevator adjustments make it bounce all over or it's too insensitive and I crash on landings...A…

I know that the CanUk guys still have CYYC (Calgary) coming for FS9 soon and the Flight Ontario team is due to release CYHM soon as well(Hamilton, a great freighter hub).Would like to know if anyone else has anything to add to this list of what is down the pipe for FS9 still.

Does anyone happen to know what this module does, or what it is required for? I'm just doing some house cleaning... : - )

Hi all, I had my old computer bite the dust, but was able to retrieve all my downloads both free and paid for..alot of aircraft and scenery files which I have all on its own drive. I did however manage to LOOSE DISK # 4 so am going to purchase a new complete Flight Simulator 2004 My question is:....When I install the new FS 9 on the same drive that contains all my stuff, will it automatically install the aircraft, terrain ect or I have to manually install all my aircraft addons and scenery upgrades ?? Oh I bought a new compter and all my flight sim add on files are on an their own ouboard drive.Any help on this reinstall will be greatly appreciated !!Many thanks!Jim, Mesa…

Outpost firewall pro 4.0 build 964.582.059 breaks FS9.1 with PMDG 737/747, even if be off. FS calls library wl_hook.dll in Outpost instalation folder, even if firewall is off!!! My fps was 4 - 5. As I library rename, was everything in order.I am sorry for my bad English-language.

I see Eaglesoft has an update for their Beech 400A/Hawker Business Jet. I looked around their site, but couldn't find any detail on what was changed for FS9 (It is akso available for FSX). Anyone know what has changed? Is it worth the price to upgrade for use in FS9?Dale

Im just looking for a executive type jet, I noticed eaglesoft have quite a few, are there anyone other design groups that have a few corporate jets.I'd purchase the eaglesoft but the min req. seem to high for my system. I can use the PMDG 737 no prob, lds no prob, any carenado, aeroworx etc.etc but the eaglesoft seem to have high req.My system is a poor 1.8 ghz p4 512 mb ram with nvidia geforce fx5500OC 256 mbI know i need to upgrade but its just not in the budget.Thanks for the info

Help! I downloaded and installed a program that simulates the curvature of the earth. I am not happy with it as it distorts my view and looks unrealistic. I cant connect to multiplayer. I cant click on the boc that says 'connect to muiltiplayer" so i cant use multiplayer. I tried everything. contacted microsoft and they told me that i need to make a new user account , didnt help at all.! Hello everyone, I reading all these post on tweks, tweak this tweak that. I have yet to make any modifications to my fs9 config file, i was just wondering, am i missing out on anything without tweaking it. i would like to try some tweaks but im not sure if they will be worth my time or not. Is there anywhere I can get a list of tweaks i can input to help performance, visuals, etc etc.Thank you very much

Hi EveryoneHave been out of simming for a few years and just getting back into it. Have been reading the forums here for a few weeks and finally made an informed decision to purchase fs 2004 over the newly released version as I dont want to upgrade in a years time to use new add on aircraft. Was familiar with 767PIC in FS2002 and now want to install PMDG 737. My system includes a new Dual Core 3.4ghz with 2mb ram and Nvidia 7600GT graphics card and 19 inch wide screen monitor.My question is after installing fs 2004, what changes to fs setup will I need to make to get it running well. I notice people talking about fs9.1, is there a patch for fs 2004 I am not aware of? …

Hi All, I had some scenery installed which backs up the original F9 scenery files when it loads it, i have uninstalled it and i have a feeling that the original F9 scenery files have not been put back in, can i insert the F9 discs again and get them back , will it overwrite it or will i have to do a Un-Install/ Re-Install of F9. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Does anyone Know if MARI has closed agian? When I try to go to thier web sight I get the Bad Gateway message.I have just started to redo all my AI and got as far as Air France when thier sight disappeared,I hope they are still making thier wonderful flight plans.If they have shut down does anyone know where one could get all thier 2005 flight plans? I have been trying to get FS X installed on my computer. Now in the process of changing video drivers and finally back to my latest ATI drivers before all this started. FS 9 now says my video card doesn't support 3D Hardware and it will use 3D software. When I checked the display settings hardware in FS 9 there is NO video card listed.Specs:XP Home with SP2Compaq Presario P4 3.6GHz with 3GB of RAMATI RADEON X600 with 256MB memory.Can someone tell me how I can get FS 9 to see my video card? This card came with the computer and has been working fine for almost 3 years.Thanks in advance to all who reply.Bill

Hi all,I appologize if i posted this in the wrong forum but I did not know where else to post this. I own the Eaglesoft Cirrus SR22, its a beautiful aircraft, and in my opinion it is one of the most accurately modeled and realistic GA aircraft that has been released for FS9. I fly it daily and have downloaded the offical FlightMax Entegra manuals and the manual for the S-Tec 55X autopilot system that it contains. I have however noticed some things that the manualS-TEC manual details and I was wondering if it is possible to perform this in FS9.The S-TEC manual describes that the autopilot has the capability to automatically capture and hold the assigned altitude.The correc…
