Help required,All of a sudden I keep getting a window popping up saying for eg "Cached file "AerosoftGA1 bundle sceneryeddm_fs9_r1 missing"alogwith window after window with various comments. After OK'ing these I end up having to shut down FS9 with the task manager.All this started after installing Aerosofts GA1 and GA3 scenerys, after contacting Aerosoft and trying all of their suggestions, none of which cured the problem, even after establishing that the scenery was not being cached. I then ran restore to a date prior to installing this scenery ,set up a flight in the UK and ran FS9 without any other program running and still I have the problem. As it stands FS9 is unus…

Hi, Have this great freeware. I wonder about afcad. Right now there only 2 runways open. One for landing, other for take off. I don't know the numbers of runway. Anyone know if there is afcad that will open up more runways? Traffic is thick there. Thank you.

Regarding autogen, what controls how far in front of a plane the autogen appears? My scenery seems to "come to life" almost right under the plane. Is there a way to make it appear further out in front? I know with faster jets it is slower to appear, but what about props - shouldn't it show up farther ahead?

I posted this prob. on the PMDG site but got no replies, so am hoping for help here.I had a new system built and full o anticipation reinstalled FS9 & all my add-ons in this order: FS9, U/D 9.1, PMDG 737NG, PMDG 737 800/900, SERVICE PACK#1, ULTIMATE TRAFFIC, GE PRO. everything worked fine untill i downloaded from PMDG & installed my liveries for the 737s.I started up FS9 and picked a 737 & hit FLY NOW. This is when the problems started - FS9 crashed. The only way i could get FS9 started again was to uninstall my PMDG aircraft but when i started a flight i had no ATC or PILOT sound & and no atc text after initialy hitting key#1 to contact ground control.Bef…

Recently bought a new Dell XPS 700 and was installing FS 2004 again. All went well, works well, except for one detail. In the "Create a Flight" window, the selected aircraft is not displayed in it normal revolving manner. Infact that little window where the selected aircraft is supposed to display is simply black. Anyone had this happen before and could help me resolve it. Thanks.GrantM

I've been using scanAFD v1.1Beta for a long time now, and it's been very useful.Recently, when I ask it to search all active addon sceneries it has started listing dozens of files as duplicates, and in each case shows three copies of the identical AFCAD in the identical location, although I know there is only one. If I rename one of them, scanAFD allows me to do so, but if I then try to rename one of the remaining two, I get an error message saying that it can't find the source file.I've checked my scenery.cfg file, which seems normal.I've written to the author, Eliot Rogers, but my email was returned as undeliverable. With my flightstick, most of my aircraft's nosewheel animation will function perfectly and turn in a right or left direction. However, with my yoke, some of the same aircraft's nosewheel animation does not function at all. I have autorudder enabled. Anyone know of any fix?Thanks much!!!

I have no idea what is going on here...I have huge chunks of missing textures in Illinois and Indiana. They are giant grey squares. When flying over them FS9 freezes and backs out. I'm running FSGenesis Mesh and Landclass. I thought it might be the landclass so I reinstalled it...no luck. Is there a way to reinstall the textures? Anyone else have this problem? I have no idea how to reinstall FS9 scenery since running Disc 1 just gices me the option to "RUN" or "Uninstall"...never had this kind of problem before...any advice would be appreciated.-Markus

Hello everyone. Goerge G. has released Boston V2.1 The readme states to manually remove the scenery from FS9 before installing the new version. Just to check, should I delete it from the scenery menu, then remove any folders on my system, or is there something else that needs to be done so I don't mess up my FS9 install? I bought a brand new computer a few months ago and of course installed FS9 the very first thing i did. I also had a huge amount of AI traffic (both PAI, WoAI and "custom installed") in my old FS9 install on my old machine, and of course I wanted to move all of this to my new machine. So I moved all the .bgl flightplans and all the AI aircraft folders - so far so good.After flying around a bit in my new FS9 install on my new computer I began noticing however that there was less AI traffic than before (I have all the AI sliders at 100%). Hey guys,I am a big fan of flying the A 310's, but after downloading the A310 panel by Simon Topmann i have had problems with turning on the autopilot. This is what happens: I click on the master cmd switch it turns out and turns off right away and gives me the disconnect sound. I have downloaded all the patches but that didnt seem to fix it. HiI used to be a fan of the Aerowinx PS1 simulator, and I never quite got used to being without it, as it modelled perhaps 80% of functionality of a 747-400.What 3rd Party aircraft for FS2004 today can match this, if any? Not just glass cockpits but also older analogue ones too.Jason

Is there any way I can get rid of this ,without turning off Antialiasing on my graphic card. I have a nvidia GeForce 6600. When I have Antialiasing on within the graphic card I get the "duel" screen. In the screen shot, anything above the SB3 box is the part that switches when I switch views.When I turn off antialiasing with in the grphic settings there is no problem, but lots of jagged edges. Hello all.Is anyone else excited about the soon to be released Feelthere Airbus series? Looks very inviting. I have been waiting and waiting for a new Bus to replace the old PSS bird, and this appears to be a winner. Originally I was waiting for PMDG to produce theirs, but since it is only for FSX looks like Feelthere is the winner. I have both the 737 and ERJ 145 and enjoy them both. It will be a nice challenge to learn the Airbus methods of autopilot etc, Just as it was fun to learn the MD Super 80 from Cool Sky.The only thing that is sad is the lack of liveries.
