I just installed the Carenado Stationair and the engine sounds horrible at full throttle. It sounds like I have blown the speakers. I am using the onboard sound of my new Epox motherboard. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?Thanks for the help.

Would some one who knows how to start the Piper PA-31T, PLEASE list all of the "keystrokes" need to start it from "cold and dark". Even with the book, I've tried and tried to do it WITHOUT sucess! A couple of times , by accident I did get the engines to start but on each time there were NO AMPS on the Amp meter and after flying for 25-30 minutes, the generator "popped" off and the flight ended. I just cann't figgure out what I'm doing wrong. If you know how to start it from cold and dark will you please make the effort and tell me how ? Thanks, jerry

Hey guys,Lately when i take the FS for a spin on take off and landings my airplane tends to run off the runway for no reason, if i try to control it it crashes most of the time. Wind isnt an issue here i had wind set to zero and it still was trying to run off. But as soon as i get airborne i have no problems, only on takeoff and landings. Any ideas? Sry if this has been posted before im really busy so theres no time to check. any help would be great. thanx ahead of timeAir power

Hi I'm having problems with Glen Copelands TCAS gauge mainly with the trafficXML.dll thing, I keep getting a message that it is not compatiable with Fs9 and do I want to disable it. Can anyone suggest a way to make this gauge work. Thanks Robin

Hey, I always open pop ups on my King Air B200, e.g. the Autopilot. Then I click right, getting the message "move window/close window" and a coulored strip appears on top of the Autopilot. Then I can move him by drag and drop to another place or another screen.Now suddenly the message "move window" is inactive, only "close window" is active. Whar happended and what can I do to reactivate it?Please help me, its urgend, as otherwise I will be unable to cope with all the different pop ups.Thanks in advance.Guenther

Hi, I searched the forums here at avsim for a PMDG 737 POSKY 737 merge, but didn't find a good answer. :( I mainly want the 600/800 series. Does anyone done this sucessfully? If so, I would be very happy if someone would send it to pilot.adolfsson AT gmail.comCheers

I am using FS9 with 3 monitors on 2 7900GS 512 MB PCIE cards. In windowed mode all is fine. But when I use Fullscreen mode then the resolution on the first card is what I want, 1280*1024 32 bit, but on the second card (which is connected to the third monitor) the resolutions stays on 800*600, no matter what I set in the hardware Tab of FS9 under card 0 and card 1. FYI: the 3rd monitor is perfectly capable of runing 1280*102 32 bit, and even better, so that is not the problem.

With some third party aircraft (generally ones with complex models and really nice textures) when I switch from cockpit view to external view, the aircraft doesn't show any textures for 3 seconds, it's just white. Then the textures pop in. Any way to make the aircraft skin textures load faster or stay persistent in memory? Video card is a 9800 Pro, 128 MB, is that not enough video memory to contain the terrain textures, cockpits, and aircraft exterior without having to swap or reload textures?I don't have this problem with the default FS9 aircraft, which tend to have less complex models and less detailed textures.

Help. I've been doing some sight-seeing lately but many of my GA aircraft seem to be like looking through a straw out the cockpit. without resorting to 2d W key or spot view, is there anything out there with really good visability out the windows?scott s..

Hi,has anyone heard of a work around yet to stop the engines quiting on you as soon as you land in this bird.it's very strange not being able to use the reverse thrust of the engines, that is even if you can stop them from just shutting down as soon as you touch down!thanks.

Mornin' all - besides Simflyers - does anyone else have payware scenery for KORD (FS9)? I would buy the simflyers version but they don't sell it anymore. I tried to see if they would let me buy it "as is" no support but no one responded to my email. Anyway if anyone else offers a payware KORD for FS9 please let me know, I would appreciate it.

I love my POSKY Pan American "Billboard" 747, but just one problem...the right side textures are all blurred, while the left side looks perfect. I looked to see if there was a texture fix but don't see one. All my other 747's look fine on all sides. May I assume this is a texture defect that just never got fixed?

I apologize if this is old news, I have been flying a lot lately instead of reading the forum. I downloaded this panel from the AVSIM library the other day and have been having a blast with it. I think I have had the Dreamwings EMB 170's in my hangar for awhile now waiting for a nice panel...and it has arrived. I found a great freeware KBUF here in the library, and flew from the new KBOS in a freeware livery of jetBlue. Everything downloaded from the AVSIM library here, and all of it could easily have been payware...just great stuff. I am having trouble loading repaints i have downloaded from the avsim Library into fs9. Specifically repaints for Eric Dantes' Twin Bonanza. I extract the files into fs9 but have had no success. I am new at this and would appreciate a step by step process from anyone with the patience. Thanks a lot

When I taxi to the stand, ground control at KPIT never sends me to the right gate...They always send me to either A3 or A5, which are southwest gates. It doesnt matter which airline I am flying, whether it be Delta, Continental, USAirways, USairways express. I have checked the following and it has all been good:-Radius of the gates is not too small for my airline-Not enough gates of my airlines code available-my airliner has the correct airline code in the aircraft editor in AFCAD 2-my gates have the correct airline code.All of the AI traffic goes to the correct gates, but not my planes. Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong and how to fix it?ThanksKevin

T was viewing my C-130 in external view, cycling through some of the animations. I didn't remember what keystrokes I had assignd to wingfold so I took a guess at CTRL + W. That started cycling me through views of all the AI aircraft in flight and on the ramp! How do you get back to your original aircraft (my C-130)?And, has anyone published a nice 1-page list of FS9 keystroke commands? I looked on the number 1 CD and couldn't find a comprehensive list.

I observe that on FS9 flights over oceans, there are often large squares or diamond shaped pieces of the water that are different colors or shade than they should be; often light blue and dark blue or dark blue and light mauve or blue and dark green, or some kind of discoloration like that.What causes this? It seems to be a feature of MSFS generally. I am not sure I've ever seen the ocean a single consistent color in any generation of the sim. Appreciate posts, thanks.JS

Hi allCan anybody tell me what the file UTI,dll does in fs9. I keep getting FS9 crashing with this error, and once with a memory error, I find the memory error strange because i have matched 2Gb Cosair memory. (also 1Gb ram on my 2 SLI Graphic Cards).I have all the FS9 Settings sliders at max and FS9 runs with no stutters/problems because of my computer spec (see below) until the above happened.I thought it was because of diskeeper auto-defragmenting my h/drives, but i stopped that happening when i fly FS9, It's only does this when i run/fly FS9, otherwise the computer is running blistering fast. any ideas.computer infoself built :) ok i know i'm braggingM/B = ASUS M2N…

Cant post in the Tongass forums yet so i thought I would ask here. I noticed flying around last night that there is a trench in the mesh running perfectly coincident with the W135 degree line of longitude. Anyone else using Tongass seen this? First time I have seen it in like 6 months using it! Anyway, I believe i have it all installed correctly and layered right. Just appears there is a mesh problem along that line.
