I've just noticed I dont have a moon at night and a sun during the day. the textures are in the texture folder but are just not showing up in FS9. any ideas?

I found a couple of flightplans for Tahoe Air, flying out of Lake Tahoe(KTVL), I cant find the Aircraft(Livery)for this Plane. I know the Airline is now defunct, But I would like to put the only Commercial flights I found at this Airport. For Sentimental Reasons.Bill, A sentimental Guy. :-zhelp :-erks

Hey guys, i have this Level-D 767-300ER v1.3i have updated its navdata to AIRAC 0803, now the problem iswhen i try to input my flightplan and insert my STAR (particularly on my flight TO VHHH)i see nothing! its just Runways but no STAR in it. i have checked where this SID/STAR are located, and found it on my FS root folder X:Flight Simulator 9Level-D Simulations/navdatathe sid/star are on .xml's so i checked it out (viewed particularly the VHHH.xml)and the contents are correct, i can see the waypoints, The star's names the altitudes.but why the heck it isnt showing on FS?your help is much appreciated.. thank you in advance..

Do not have luck with arrestor cables on USS Stennis? Will this version work properly on this carrier if no navaids, dme, ils available?Have installed 3wire on desktop and laptop xp with no luck.Trying 3wire, following instructions, I cannot get numbers to show in CZA window and program "does show" being connected to fs9.Also tried manually typing P1, P2, P3, P4 lat/lon into zonedef.xmlwith no luck.Contacted Rhys Eddy, but he could not help either.Appreciate help with this problem.

In 8 years or so of fs'ing I have never actually walked about the cabin, I was wondering if there are any freeware programs to allow me to check out the cabin. I dont want to have any thing payware As I dont intend to do much hardcore passengering :) I would just like to check out the cabin every once in a while.Thanks

Would somebody please explain to me what Microsoft's Silverlight is and if it has a effect on FS9. While I was updating my XP operating system one of the downloads that was recommended by Microsoft was their Silverlight program.ThanksTom

I'd really like to get rid of this, but after deleting all LIGHTS, EFFECTS and SMOKE entries from the a/c cfg file, I am no nearer to finding the cause. Does anyone recognise why this might be happening with various a/c? I may be wrong, but I get the impression it occurs in cold weather.Thanks,Martin

Hi, I fly the PMDG 747-400, and I was wandering how you use the stab trim on the throttle quadrant. There are controls on the CDU fpr rudder and aileron trim, but nothing for the stab trim.Couls someone tell me where I can find the stab trim controls?Thanks!

Hello everyone.Im looking at putting another aircraft in my hanger and have been looking at reviews and narrowed it down to 2. Im intterested in the PMDG 747 or the F1 ATR. Now I now there for diffrent uses but im just looking for a general concensus on these birds. I know the 747 is made for long hauls but I would just use it for short hops, Im just looking for realism int the aircraft, not so much realism on flight scheds so that not a big deal.What's putting me over to one side of the fence is the price diffrence. So I was just wondering what are the general thoughts on these birds.P.S I did use the search function but it never seems to pull anything up for me, it alw…

I would like to customize some of the aircraft skins in MS. It doesn't matter which aircraft I'm viewing, everytime I go into the textures folder for that particular aircraft, I can't view the textures. Even dragging them into photoshop won't be displayed correctly. But it appears just fine in game. So are these texture files encoded or am I missing some sort of plugin in order to alter these files?

I'm currently searching for an area which is rich in "flying challenges" and "visually appealing" in terms of the landscape (mesh, landclass,...). I'd like to fly planes from a Saab 340 or Fokker-50 upwards, so airports need to be able to handle even bigger aircraft. And, I'd like to have a wealth of (custom made) airports available for (very) short to medium hops.From several videos on Flightlevel350, Southern America comes to my mind with its high altitude airports, steep approaches and mountainous areas. While creating any flight, when I download "Real Weather" from either button FS9 crashes to desktop at the end of the Jeppessen download. No warning - nothing. My last flight with real weather was uneventful, and this has never happened before. I've restarted both FS9 and my system. I just finished building my new computer last night and installed FS9 on the new hard drive.Do I have to redownload and install all my WorldofAI and Project AI packages one by one using their installers, or can I just copy folders from my old rig to my new one? If the latter, can anyone tell me which folders to copy over? I already have all of their aircraft models copied over into the FS9/Aircraft folder.Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

FS9, as well as XP in general in't recognizing me as an administrator. I'm the only account and I KNOW I'm the admin. Anyone ever seen this and how to correct XP?
