I'm just curious if anyone here is using Live Dispatch (http://www.livedispatch.org/) with their flights. If so, any opinions?

I've recently built a new system and I'm experiencing a strange phenomenon in FS9 if I "Alt+Tab" back to my desktop while in flight. I'm flying on Vatsim using Squawkbox, and if I alt+tab out to do something else, my aircraft is apparently behaving erratically in my absence. I'll return to FS9 to find my aircraft 1000 feet or more below my cruise altitude descending at a good rate, and usually quite a bit slower than I left it. So far this has occurred with the PSS 757 and LDS 767. A quick glance at my MCP reveals that the autopilot is in the same state I left it, in VNAV and LNAV. The MCP altitude and speed are unchanged, so that would rule out some keystrokes or mo…

I haven't seen this yet and not sure how to fix it. I used to use a CRT monitor and when trying to access the PMDG setup program had no problem seeing it when clicking on the menu for it. I then found out that FSUIPC had a smiliar interface and now, using a WS LCD monitor, I can't access that though I can access the PMDG setup if I change the resolution to a 4:3 type instead of a 16:9. Hi everyone I really need help. My ExcBuilder is not working when it try's to compile my file to BGL file. Yes I have reinstalled my fs2004 BGL sdk and yes I replaced my msxml 4 file several times. This is very frustrating because I have researched and researched and cannot find my issue. I know that there is a solution for my problem I just don't know where to turn anymore since I did the obvious like replacing the msxml 4 file several several times. Someone please help me because I need to remove the default buildings and other default objects for my custom scenery I plan to build. I can't seem to add the weather radar using fspanelstudio. How do you do it? I get errors :Can't load a bitmap for gauge38, "RealityXP_WX500".Is this normal? Or is it supposed to overlap a Navigation display? Cause that'd be AWESOME!!!!!!

I have the AFG Beech 300, and still, even how I try, the plane keeps "running" down the taxiway even when I have all the levers in the right configuration for taxi.So, my question is... could I go and do some fixing/tweeking in the cfg to slow the plane down a bit during taxi?And if thats the case, were do I change the cfg parameters?RegardsP.

Just wondering if flight sim would run better on my system if I disabled areas/sceneries not currently being used by myself. Example: If I am flying in South America should I disable default sceneries in the Scenery Library such as "Western North America", "Eastern Europe", "Africa", etc? Would disabling these increase Flight simulator performance?Thanks,Chris Porter

Hi.I have been having problems with my FS9 scenery library since I tried installing a new airport yesterday. Basically I sucessfully managed to install the "JAPANESE AIRPORTS VOL3" scenery pack. I then realised that I only really needed RJAA to be installed so I decided to go to the FS9 scenery library and uncheck (disable) the other 5 airports. After saving this, closing and reopening FS9 I was surprised to see the library back the way it was before. With all airports checked.So I tried to move the unwanted airports down the priority list. Once again, after FS9 was rebooted they were in the exact same place as before.Next I tried to delete the unwanted airports. I saved …

As Avsim.ru/su seems a lot more user friendly these days, I have been making great inroads in building up my Russian AI aircraft and scenery packages. I am finding it very hard however to locate the Vitimin Tu154m model. I followed a link that took me to a dead end, or to be precise, a Russian website selling Britsh motorbikes and womens underwear :( So my request is, does anyone have the model for this particular aircraft that they could make available to me ? Hey guys,I need a little help with my 717 set up. I have Eric Cantu's 717 model and Ken Mitchell's panel. It's an amazing model with a very good panel. The only problem I have is that when I'm on approach and landing... I can not see the ground at all. I'm not sure if this is just how the aircraft is or if I can make some adjustments. Right now visual approaches are impossible. At about 2000 AGL the nose it pitched up about 5 degrees with no ground reference at all. I have a nice 717 manual and I know all my speeds are correct. I just wasn't sure if there was something I can change in a CFG or something to make this thing a little more flyable. Thanks guys. -Mat…

How can I create a cab file containing cabin announcements sound files that are already in the FS9 gauges folder??? I want to avoid having to install the files one at a time with FS Panel Studio if I can. TIA...............John

I occasionally see FS9 crash in a very specific way. First the screen suddenly go black. Then after a short while the LEDs starts blinking on the DVD/CD units. Then a message that FS9 has stopped working. What could that be? I have experienced this crash with different kind of airplanes and on different computers and also different OS both 32bit and 64bit (WinXP and Win 7 64 bit)

Help.... I'm really over my head on this one. I just purchased the Majestic Dash -8 , Pilot version and when I installed it my Go Flight throttles nor my computer mouse with work the throttles ???? There is a notepad message inclosed, labeled "throttle .ini", with a ton of numbers on it, BUT no instructions on how to set up my Go Flight throttles. Even when I'm in the cockpit the mouse will not move them. I have also written to Majestic.com for help but I have not heard from them as yet. Does anyone have this aircraft and the Go Flight throttles and can tell me how to set them up. Thanks jerrycwo4

Is there anyway to make FS9 use single runway operations. like when im at manchester, they use 23R/05L only most of the time, but on FS9 they always use both runways. thanks in advance

Hey all,I was just wondering if maybe there is a remedy to this situation. When I do flights, especially long flights, I tend to use an increased rate of simulation. Anywhere from 2x-8x is usually what I like to do. Using 2x always works without any adverse effects. Using 4x usually works, but every once and a while the aircraft will randomly and erratically spin out of control until I return to normal sim, where I have to re-establish my routing. When I use 8x, it works for some aircraft but not for others. Examples; my PSS 777's work just fine at 8x (thankfully since transpacific flights take forever) but my PSS 757's do not. When I do 8x on the 757, it starts out fine,…

when the plane (wilco A320 deluxe) is ready to taxi, i can't get the throttle levers to move gradually!.. F1 is working (idle), F4 works (full throttle) and F2 (thrust reversing) is also working, but i haven't been able to increase throttle gradually (F3).. i can reduce throttle gradually after F4(full thrust) using F2, but not the other way around (from idle to gradual thrust increment using F3).. so whenever i need 5 to 10% thrust for taxiing, i have to go all the way to 100%(F4) and reduce to 5 or 10% using F2.. i need help!!..

Hey all I was wondering if anyone can provide me with assistance on this problem I cant seem to fix. I just got a new video card a Radeon 4670 and my problem is I can start and fly in FS9 just fine its just when I minimize to windows and then get back into the sim by graphics go to crap. It seems I lose my video card settings. My anti-aliasing is gone and it all happens when I minimize out of full-screen mode. The windowed mode seems to work ok but I dont use that. I have the updated drivers installed after I cleaned out all the old drivers and put back in the new ones. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Scott

Using John Stinstroms' Cold Lake CFB (CYOD) scenery. Flying a trusty C-17 when ATC told me which rwy to use for landing, I did not find the NAV-1/2 freq listed on the flight map, nor was the rwy even listed in the Garmin GPS Procedures page.Manual landing was made on rwy 31R.My question(s): Do rwy's 31l/R have ILS capabilities, if so where/how can I get the ILS freq's. Howdy folks,I've been really wanting to fly the PSS Dash 8 again. However I only have the installer now. Since PSS is long gone I can't install it. Now I wish I had copied the dir.
