Hi everyoneIs it possible to make some planes not show-up because of adding too many?My default de Havilland Dash 8-100 isn't showing up, on the list of planes once fs is loaded.Everything seems fine with the sim.I've noticed the last few planes I put in gave me some troubles with showing on the list of available planes.I messed around with the aircraft.cfg and got some of those to show.I figured maybe I've added too many, and someone could give me some good advice.Is there a recommended number of planes not too exceed, and if one does exceed the recommendation, will they encounter troubles?Thanks for any help.

This may need to be addressed elsewhere but I have been unable to find it. When I try to open a .doc file that comes with a download I get the error message "Unable to load graphics conversion filter. Continue with document conversion?" This means I get the written part but not the illustration. Is there a Windows setting I need to know about. Sorry, but I am not very computer literate.Lou

Hey everyone,I have recently re-installed FlyTampa's OMDB and the Dubai Islands/City addons that are found here in the library. Everything is working EXCEPT a double coastline. I have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled/etc. trying to get it set up right as per the instructions included in the readme. No matter what I do, I get a double coastline. Like the default one staying put. I have looked at all the BGLs trying to figure out which one it might be but I can't figure it out. Here is a screen of what I am talking about.It runs the length of the city down to OMDB. Really annoying. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?Thanks,Danny

I mean, did their A320 ever get to beta, did anyone ever see anything besides the screenshots on their website? I wonder if the full story of AXP will ever come out? Come to think of it, did the protagonists ever offically state that it was dead?As far as I can work out, Vauchez quit first, followed by Lou Betti (who appears to have hung up his modelling pen without so much as a farewell), leaving Jean from RXP, who as far as I can work out is still active with RXP. I have two different panels which work well with various aicraft and would like to know if it is possible to have a panel.cfg configuration which would allow me to easily choose one or the other.Currently I have to go the way of replacing or renaming the panel folder file required and am assuming there might be a better way to do it.Thanks for any assistance/guidance.Clarindo

Hi All,At some FS9 airports there's a lot of AI ground traffic driving around and they all make the default AI Cessna sounds because they are defined as AI aircraft. Everything works OK and the airports are a lot more lively but all those "Cessnas" buzzing around you make a lot of unrealistic noise, quite often even drowning out your ATC instructions when they pass near your user aircraft. Is there any way of killing their sounds ?Hans

I am having some graphic problems with FS2004. I am trying to figure out if this is a FS9 known issue, video driver, or other problem. I am running an E8600 @ 4ghz and a GTX 280 (191.07 and nHancer 2.5.7) running on two LCDs at 1920x1200. I do not have a problem with single LCD 1920x1200 full screen or windowed mode. The problem seems to happen when I undock a window and maximize the window on the 2nd LCD monitor. <I have a attched a screenshot>. It looks like texture aliasing or artifacting. I am trying to solve this issue where I have a black triangle in the Hudson River on the south east tip of Manhattan, see attachment. For some reason the water texture there is missing, this doesn't happen at night though so I do have the night water textures. I am using Aerosoft's Manattan and I also have Free Flow New England installed. Last week I had a problem with double shore lines all along the north eastern coast of the US, from KBOS down to KPHL. I was able to fix that by uninstalling and reinstalling the Manhattan scenery. After the reinstall everything was good and the only change I've made since then was to delete a bgl file from the Manhattan scenery fold…

does anyone have a flyable merge for the Dreamwings Q400 and Majestic plane?I've tried it myself but I cannot stop it bouncing when touching down.For taxi and takeoff it handles fine,but no matter how smooth the touchdown,the plane'll bounce about 20times on the nosewheel.I can't for the life of me understand why it does that.p.s I really want to fly the 400 as it'll generate more revenue as my two -300's do.average per flight for the q400 is $7000 while the -300 makes $3000 at most.thanks in advance to whoever knows how to merge them right.cheersJP.

Two airports. one plane....AC#1,N93559,1%,4HR,VFR,15:00:00,15:18:53, 20 ,R,500,KEVY,17:00:00,17:18:53, 10 ,R,500,6565 is an addon airport. When the plane came back to the origin airport (65) he did a go-around and then decided to land. On final he just disappeared. Any thoughts? I am doing this just for fun so it's no biggie. Recently reinstalled FS9 on my rig here. When I set restricted vis, say 20-30 miles, Im getting an issue I remember from before. If your sitting on the ground there is a clear area with obvioulsy unrestricted vis up to about 150-200' where the haze seems to get "normal". I can see that underneath the vis layer its clear and there is a definite demarcation on surrounding trees and terrain up to that line/height. After that level the haze looks normalmeaning it is present. Screenie attached.Anyone know a fix to this??? I seem to remember something but its been a LONG time since a re-install.Thanks!Hornit

I have installed a new videocard, but now my aircrafts and panels are blurry and unsharp. PC specs: Dell XPS Gen4 3.0Ghz, 2GB Ram, video Sapphire Radeon Ati 5770HD 1GB, I use anti alising both in FS and on videocard. Does anyone have a solution?

I recently had my hard drive crash and had to reinstall FS9. Long story short...I'm now missing three of my favorite repaints for the PMDG 1900C/D;Pacific Coastal B1900CNorthern Thunderbird B1900C and 1900DThe AVSIM file library is still saying that these are not available. I have searched, high and low, for a Stinson L-5 Sentinel for FS9. Payware, freeware . . . nary a one have I found.Does someone in this vast assemblage have any knowledge of the availability of such a puppy ?Joe

:( Hi.I have this file and have used it before, but struggle with the different settings in the .ini file.I have an older system now, with XP Pro and a 3.40 ghz CPU and 2 gigs of ram. this is linked up to a Geeforce 7800gs with 512 on board ram.I know that if you are not careful in what you alter, then you can bring your Sim to it's knees fps wise.If anyone is using this Bloom file a with similar setup, then please post your .ini settings in here so I can compare them to the default ones.I have red around on the usage of this file, but must confess to being confused about what to alter etc.I like using it and think that it looks great in the Sim, it brings things to life …

Hi everybody,I have a problem that I can't seem to find the answer to. All my airports at night are pitch black, except for my own landing and taxi lights. I need a guide dog to get me from the runway to the gate.I've tried all the settings in display options (I think) but nothing turns on tje airport lights. Are there no airport lights in FS9 or do I need an add-on for that ?cheersMartin

For some reason,I'm getting very jerky frame rates with this aircraft in FS9.I have also Level d 767 and using the same scenery,frame rates are OK.The frame rates are good in FSX.Any ideas?Ron

Hey!This morning I was installing a new airport in FS9 and I use FSNav to put any scenery into its database which then gives all that information to FS9 scenery.cfg file.This time the program FSNAV ( registered ) crashed!After carefully looking for the origin of that problem I've seen that it was exactly the 1000th scenery that I was installing, and that the database of FSNav, which is stored in two files, Scenery.000 and Scenery.001 was exactly, added together, was exactly 10Mb ( the first one being 4.748kB and the latter one being 5.252kB ).I wonder...Am I at the end of the possibilities of the program FSNav? Or what could else be the reason why that program with these …

Okay, I've been having issues with KDEN and finally got them straight. All my approaches now have transitions so I can request GPS/RNAV and not get stuck with the vectors nonsense. Somehow this was lost with a 3rd party AFCAD that had some errors in it. All is good on the AFCAD front.So, in testing the approaches to make sure I can select the transition in the ATC menu, I've been using GA aircraft. My plane tonight was the Dreamfleet B58, going from KSBS to KDEN.Both flights gave me a different runway and both approaches in the Reality XP went awry. The first one seemed to follow the GPS towards the IAF, however, I was not in line with the runway at all. It was the …

Dear all, Have been searching this forum with many different key words but cannot find any info on this topic.In real life everytime a controller clears you from your current flight level down to an altitude below the transition level they will provide the current local altimeter setting. In FS9 this altimeter setting is not provided by this controller.Now is this by design....or am I doing something wrong in the sim setup? :( Greatly appreciate any help on this. Regards,Daniel

If you have problems that fs going on pause, chek your AVG virusprog. and download the update. That resolve this problem.

It was on the AVSIM library before. It's called the Westjet cabin interior. pmdg_wja_cabin.zip
