Hi I have an enclosed multi view setup and need to use +- keys to regularly change the zoom rate on the left/right views in flight, but having just repositioned one of the projectors I can no longer see what zoom rate is applied to one of the views (red letter message).I don't want to have to always open up the views window each time to see the zoom rate,so is it possible to reposition the red messages somewhere else on the view,tried dragging but no go. Hi all does anyone know any decent Caribbean landclass that is available,I'm using ground environment pro which adds a little ground candy and I'm looking at getting fsgenesis's mesh for Mexico and the Caribbean. I just want something to sort the towns and roads out to make it a little tidier. I mainly fly around the caymans and Jamaica I'm using Latin vfr airports for both but it's the land detail I'm after.

Hi, today I tried to install my Altitude Concorde add on, which worked fine on my old pc. It all seemed to be going well until i tried to run the flight sim when i got the following error message, This versionof fs2004 detected is not suitable with this version of fsuipc. it is build 9.09.4091. check the help-about. the build should be 9.00.30612 fspiuc will terminate when you select ok. it then says that i can still run fs2004 but some aircraft or files will be disabled and it lists fsuipc which i assume is the file that will be disabled, it then says something about not being able to open a child window and then the programe does not respond. I was tinkering with my almost-finished KJFK 1972 scenery (btw will be uploaded soon) and I pulled up the default terminal 4 by accident using Instant Scenery. I noticed something that delightfully made my heart sink. There was the old 1970's IAB attached to it complete with textures! Just what I need! But its attached to the MDL file for the default terminal 4 (decompiled NewYork.bgl and opened up the Terminal 4 file, NewYork_50.mdl). I would love so much to utilize the IAB but I have no Idea how to "detach" the default terminal 4. Any ideas?

Hello...so I just noticed someone put out a credible freeware photo real KLGA , NY for FSX. Is there any freeware pr payware photo real for NYC (not aerosoft Manhatten) but of the rest of NYC ? Any freeware that shows the new Citi field? Just curious cuase it would go well with my imagine KLGA.....Thanks....................

Hello All Actually a couple of questions (relevant to other aircraft too) 1. My Piper Seneca has something in it called 'Lateral mode selector) it has a click spot so its meant to do something ,my question is what ? Have had a little tinker ,but it appeared to have know noticeable effect on my flight. 2. Fuel pump switch.. I have noticed this on a number of aircraft. I leave it alone ,as it appears to have now discernible effect (on sim flying) at least. My question is what is it and when is it used. That's it cheers All Andy

I am not sure if my searching isn't good enough but has anyone changed the pink color into something darker? Or even perhaps changing its texture like arrow or smaller line size? thanks

As most of you know, Virtavia has a very generous policy of releasing their older products as freeware after a certain time. They just released their F8 Crusader as freeware and I think it's definitely worth having. It's the complete product with a good VC, outstanding external model and as with all Virtavia products, has excellent FPS. It's a lot of fun - go check it out Cheers Ian

Are there here on this forum scenery builders who can make a scenery of the Boeing Field KBFI and Renton KRNT for FS9 and FSX.I ask this becours it seems that Simflyers has stoped with making scenery`s.Or perhaps somebody of Simflyers can let us know what is going on with the KBFI scenery they where making.Kind regards, Michel

As I was busy griping about the lack of AES support at Aerosoft's new LIRF, I happened to come on this announcement. Very welcome... http://forum.aerosof...to-version-230/ This is a major update that adds new vehicles and superb new animations. It also adds new features and changes that prevents problems with less then perfect AFCAD files. I recently started flying a Nepal Tour with one of the Virtual Airlines im with and on one of my airports My framrates drop win looking directly at the airport from 32 to 15 wich dint happen before, last thing i remember was setting the UAC to Medium, so i set it to off and no more frame drops. Is this Normal?

Hi Guys, I have a really frustrating problem with Alderney default airport after the Flight 1 Ultimate Terrain Europe UTE has been installed on the base FS2004 FS9.1. Removing UTE or disabling UTE Block Europe 2 inside the library scenery, I am able to restore to the default scenery sitation. In this case all is ok, but without UTE improvement scenery. Now I give more details about my problem with UTE enabled: coming from Guernsey approaching to Alderney default scenery airport RWY 08 I see the water sea coming up and covering the rocks below the runway... looking around seems to be the bug named "flatten" that some other user already esperienced also with other scen…

Hi 1. I want to reinstall FS9 to get rid of the old settings! I reinstalled it and when i started FS9 all my old settings was left and my old FS9.cfg. How can i fix this? 2. What is the best settings in FS9 to get the best performance and the best FPS? 3. What's the best FS9 tweaks out there? Hi guy's , Just a very few "ai planes" are landing at busy airports, the departure traffic seem normal. I have hundreds of packages installed. What could cause that problem ? I used to get loads of plane coming in as in real life.... Any idea what could cause this decrease in landing traffic ? AFCAD's and traffic settings are properly adjusted. Thanks !!!!

Thought I'd give a heads up to all of us here in the FS9 board. FlyTampa's started to work on a YSSY scenery, an area that's been neglected for FS9 for years. I'm super excited as they have announced there will be an FS9 version albeit without photoscenery and the like. Hi all, I have noticed that after installing the scenery of VOZ1.8, the data base are not correctly read, as one of the file.bgl shows up ahead of the actual AFCAD. what I mean by that, is there is a file for TWY that is ahead of the actual AFCAD of YSSY. when I open AFCAD or or AFX I can see the TWY is highlighted and the real AFCAD is second, that result, when running maker RNWY and the DB of FSCommander, the real data is not read. If I rename the TWY. bgl to org for example the data is scanned properly. so my question is how can I lower the priority of the file TWY to go under the AFCAD, so It can be scanned properly. When I open AFCAD I see the TWY as 1 the AFCAD as…
