Hey guys I notice there was no airport for Greenville Municipal Airport 4G1in fs2004 So I decided to make my own using Easy scenery library objects and Woody's scenery objects as well. My question is will it be okay for me to upload it to a visit him for others to download or would I need permission? I have also use Airport exfoliator to edit the taxi ways add taxi ways as well to the better match the real thing

Hello For years, I used to simfly with my old PC with IDE HD. But recently it crashed, and I have been obliged to replace it by a new one with SATA HDs. I replaced VISTA by XP Pro 32 (the one I had on my previous PC) OK, but I could't install FSCopilot 1.7 Beta nor FSInn 1.3 beta to reach the flightsim community and fly with. I always got an error message back which stopped the installation process. Has anybody experienced to successfully process that install?

... so I'm going to - as far as the Boeing 777 is concerned - revert to FS9 for my T7-flying (PSS 777 Professional). I'm not going to discuss those (two) developers' attitudes (and neither my attitude towards their attitudes) - at least not in THIS thread. I had put some 60 Euros (read alternatively: some 80 US Dollars) aside for the purchase of a FSX B777. Now this money is going to be invested into some pleasant environment for my PSS 777 in FS9 (scenery-wise, addon airport-wise and the like). Any suggestions on how I could improve my FS9 to cater for some more atmospheric T7 flights? Thanks in advance for bothering!

Hey guys, After having trouble with the real world weather in fs9, giving me a weather.dll error whenever using it i've come to look for a freeware weather addon that would do that same as the fs9 real world weather, something that would possibly update every 15 minutes. I've looked at Active Sky, but unfortunately don't have the money to spend on an addon at the moment. If anyone has an idea what i could use i would very much appriciate it!

Hey guys once again, Im really getting tired of FS2004 one problem after the other i fix one thing something else goes wrong, I can realy use some help here, Day by day i find myself fixing instead of flying and frankly it is draining me out. So far ive been able to fixe alot of things but continue to run into more the issue here is with PANN Scenery by Loneys Alaska_3 One of the hangars is missing some texture can someone tell me wich hangar this is and how i can fix this texture issue. Hey everyone, Just yesterday i encountered yet another problem and had found a fix for it, Everytime im on the water near PAKT i do a quick 360 rotation in spot view and noticed my entire scenery has gone blurry, I was also encountering this in one of the S.I.R.P camp sites in Great Galcier. I would taxi to the camp site and do a quick 360 rotation and once again everything has gone blurred. I did some research and found out the issue was caused by some textures in my EZ-library directory. The textures belonged to some of the objects made by Sidney Schwartz. I went into Avsim and did a search for Sidney Schwartz and found all the updated textures and the problem was …

Dear readers! I was wondering if it is possible to put in freeware panel parking break sound and other button sounds (like flaps and speed break operations)? I have great parking break sound from PMDG (MD-11) and great QW speedbreak and flaps button sounds. I have been trying to mix it in to my other planes (through panel.cfg) without success. Hi all. This might be a bit obscure but would anyone be able to point me in the direction of the 2006 Curved Air static objects library, particularly farmbuildings and Monuments_&_churches? I had the (incomplete) library from a friend some months ago while creating Welsh farm strips but the package he had did not have a complete set of textures so most of the buildings have no texture... Hey! Is it possible to connect FS9 on one computer to a second computer, in order to run on the second computer a supplementary program simultaneously with the working FS9 on the first computer? Hi Folks, upgraded my Com to 64 bit, Win 7. Now, everything works but the External and tower view. External view i can also get from left and right rear end of the plane (num 1 and 3) , not side or front view (Num 4,6,7,8 adn 9), Tower view is completly strange ans the tower is 10 feet from the plane all the time. I have just discovered 5 cd's full of mostly fs2004 aircraft and utilities, 99.9% of them are from Avsim pre-library corruption. I have already flagged this post with David, so his is the final decision but here's what I propose: I will post 5 screenshots of the list of zip file names. Now I can get an inkling in what's in the file too and I'm suspecting many FS2004 aficionado's can too. Any of them you recognise, I will upload to the library, provided there is no restriction in the Avsim text message or within the unzipped file itself. Just started happening, While im panning arround my aircraft in spot view, At times some gray areas show up during panning on the texture but disapears right away. Just bought new computer with Windows 8 and tried to install FS2004 , having previously successfully run it on Windows Vista. Programme installed successfully but when I tried to open it, I get the following message "FS cannot run without a valid Scenery cfg .Uninstall and install. ABORT". I understand that Windows 8 can have problems recognising scenery files as there are several.Has anyone had the same problem and have you been able to resolve it? I am hoping that there is a patch or someone has rewritten a scenery.cfg file that can be downloaded ?.

Hi Folks, I've been struggling with screenshots on my new Win7 x64 build for months... I've tried about 4 different screenshot programs and they all have the same issue - when I hit the printscreen button - that works in fullscreen mode on everything else - when in FS9 it takes a picture of my desktop like MSFS is not even there... If I switch FS9 to window mode - the screenshots work fine - but - I don't care to use window mode because i lose my anti-alias and the windwow frame takes up real estate... If I bring up the menu while in full screen mode [alt key] I can take the shot but then I have the menu bar taking up real estate... I've tested this on both my desktop…

Greetings from sunny Switzerland. Picked up a new machine two weeks ago. I had previously been running FS2004 on an old Dell XPS for nine years with Windows XP Pro. My FS installation was huge and I dreaded the though of it dying on me and having to start from scratch. Anyway, the new beast came loaded with Windows 8 so I stated to plan the "transfer" of Fs2004. First thing I did was install FS2004 from the original disks (yes, I found them). No problem there. I even let it install in the Program Files (x86) directory. I'm having a problem since freshly installing FS2004/FS9 on my Windows 7 desktop. It has resided on this PC very comfortably in the past, operating efficiently and smoothly, without any incidents. So far, I've found the sim to be quite the same on this install with one exception: on the initial startup, the program is always opening at 1/2 the simulation rate, R. There is no problem with correcting this by one press of R+, as per the Key Assignments. However, I haven't experienced the necessity of doing this at any time in the past. How does one create their own photo real scenery? I live around KFLL and have the great FS dream team scenery for FS9 but there is no good photo scenery of the area out there to surround it. Same with KMIA. Any suggestions? Thanks
