Ok been playing fsx for years now, joined va's the lot. However i prefer Gamespy as i dont have to worry about running different programmes just to fly. My problem is the default CAPS LOCK doesnt transmit, so iv change the key assigments but still no joy. *I have full FSUIPC *Right freq tunned *Running Windows 7 64bit. *Using a Turtle beech headset *Tested the mic is working in the sounds control pannel in win 7 Im at a loss now as i dont wont peolpe to think im a bad pilot on approaches, i fly the full STAR for the airport im flying been as i have to radio. The server descriptions don't always show up in FSX. Sometimes it will flash for a second and disappear again. This happened on my old PC and now my new laptop. I have a fresh install with all the service packs and no add-ons. Is this just the nature of the beast or is there a fix for this? Thanks for any advise, Falcon21

The chat looks fine before you join the session, but if you join the session and see the chat, the whole thing look like a barcode. I need help in fixing this.

After running my FSX after a couple of days, I found other aircraft sunk in the ground 1/2 way, or stuck in the ground with their nose. It is strange, because the aircraft I fly in is ok. Fsx was always running perfect before, and after not using it for a couple of days, things seem changed or are a problem now. Do I need to re-install all my software again, or could it also be something with to extreme graphic settings? I have an I7 processor, and pc specially boosted up for FSX

About 5 minutes ago someone mentioned on the PMDG forums that there was an expansion for the IFly 737 NG that allowed for shared cockpit. In typical but not surprising fashion, one of the PMDG mods deleted the thread. Since the thread got deleted so quickly, I wasn't able to get any info about this expansion. I looked a bit and couldn't find anything on the web, given I am on my phone and the browsing experience isn't the greatest. Anyway, does anyone know any info regarding this expansion for the IFly 737? Is it truly shared cockpit? Is it working well?Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkJB

Hi. I am trying to get clarification from the term multiplayer. My question is: can FSX be installed on a server then played from any workstation via network connection? I have one PC and two laptops. I would like to install FSX on the PC only then connect the two laptops (via ethernet LAN cables to a router) to the PC then play FSX from the PC, without having to install FSX three times. How do I do that? Thank you.

I am new to FSX MP and a friend and I would like to fly in the same airplane as pilot and co pilot using game spy. What airplanes can be used that will allow the NF pilot to activate all the switches while the other pilot flys the airplane. We both have the Caranado Bonanza and the PC-12 and the 737 NGX add ons and would like to use these airplanes. Can add on airplanes be used for MP, or only FSX default airplanes must be used. MP newbie

hello i am new to the forums and i need some assistance setting up fsacars via mysql database and phpmyadmin i have edited the php forums that come with the downloads that sata virtual provides to virtual airline owners. the problem i having is that i can not connect to the database that i have setup in phpmyadmin. i think i might be strugleing with the recive_pireps php document i am not sure how i should enter the folders. and as long as the report file url address i made to display the flight reports but it is a .html not a .php i would like to set this up &@($* soon as possible for my VA

i purchased UTX USA from a website and got a DVD copy, and it says ERROR CODE 11FD. heres what it says. Ultimate Terrain X-USA has not been totally installed because of the following reason: Flight One Software/UTUsaFsx/bgl/LIGHT2/LMX2518J.Bgl: This file contains invalid data (Error 11FD) you will have to run this ulitity again to completely install Ultimate Terrain X-USA. HELP!! it says Error 11FD was a corrupt download, but this is a DISC from Flight one!! help me!!!!!! :mellow:

Hi all I purchased FlyTampa Athens and its very nice, but I wanted charts too to fly it. I managed to find charts from 2010 but I can't find any more recent. Is there anyone knows where I can download or can send me 2012 charts? Otherwise I can use nDac. I prefer not to use nDac as it doesn't provide PDF and I don't want to print all one by one.. pretty bad user interface.

I am going to maintain a list of tips for anybody that wants to host a fsx multi-player session. Host using a control tower as this consumes less resources then a plane. Use the standard ports of 6112 to 6122. There is no reason to change them and fsopen server ony supports this range anyway. The only inbound changes to your router's firewall or antivirus software firewall is to allow UDP 6112 to 6122. Another reason not to change from the defaults. How would a feature like this even be implemented without some sort of server network thing. Then add vatsim to complicate the equation. I am now skeptical this feature will ever be properly implemented. Or can some technical minded person enlighten on the reality.

Hi all, I have got a strange problem. When I join a server as a pilot, everything works fine, but when I join a serer as a air traffic controller it doesnt reacts. Like, I am joining a server with 20 people on it, And I set my role to Air traffic controller, and I press :join server, it doesnt load, and fsx doesnt works anymore..
