Shared Cockpits | Multi-Player Forum for FSX | FSX-SE | P3D

Can anyone shed some light on this issue, when ever i try to host a session with REX 2.0 and FSX Multiplayer people are no able to join and get stuck at loading players aircraft and then get disconnected. I really need to fix this issue.

Hey all,I'm new to multiplayer so go easy on me. My problem is that I cannot JOIN an existing multiplayer session as the JOIN button is greyed out, can anybody offer a solution ?Also, I've searched this forum but couldn't find what I hoped to find..... A 'getting started' primer of some sort for multiplayer, what settings to use etc. I mean, I did find some tips i.e. don't spawn onto the active runway etc. Is there a single file containing a 'How To' ?Many Thanks.Tag

Hi all,I`m sorry if this has been asked before, i did a quick search but couldn't find anything. And it will probably be kicking an open door, yet ill ask it anyways (it can't hurt).So my question is.. if i buy and download a beautiful plane to fligh online with my buddy`s , do they need to have the plane in there aircraft folder (like in fs9) or can they see it anyways ? i really like to know that before i buy an airplane and it comes out blank online... thanks!Luci

I expect this to get removed since everytime I post a positive post about a company, it dissappears, but I'm going to try again anyway.After all the posts I have made about developers planes and multiplayer shared cockpit not working, I just have to say that for the first time, in the description of the Twotter, Aerosoft state's clearly that this plane IS fully shared cockpit compatible, and I will verify it, it most certainly IS!!!WTG Aerosoft! I hope others will take notice and follow suit.

In addition to maddog, which (complex) payware aircrafts have shared cockpit functionality? Are there any payware aircrafts you know are going to have it later (as an upgrade)? You know of any future new releases that are planning to have it? Just trying to figure out what planes there are for me and my friend to buy for flying together... Thanks.

Hello, is it possible with the FSX and his new SDK and Simconnect to deactivate the ILS via an ATC software like IVAC or VRC? I ask for networks like IVAO or VATSIM this could be a nice feauture. For example if in reality the ILS is not working publicated on a NOTAM. greetz Peter

I'm new to FSX and was trying a multiplayer session with a friend. I was hosting and then FSX crashed. Fortunately, we both had been saving a lot. So, I was just going to host a new session from the last save point. But every time I tried, it wouldn't let me start in the air. I HAD to start on the ground at an airport near where we were when my FSX crashed. Is there anyway to start a session in the air?

hi all Flight SimI found a website on the net fsx team denmark.they fly Mustang P-51 formations flight multiplayer. they also have missions you can download at a low price and with these missions, you can learn formations flight. the site is relatively new and not quite finished, but a visit please. they have a flight plan on their website and you can sign up and fly, it is a good team. address for this page is www.fsxteam.dkI would think that once their website is complete, it will be a good place to know. pcpiloten

I have installed Windows 7 64 bit and am now unable to connect to vatsim.co pilot/fsinn seems to bet installed ok, but when I go to the set up I am unable to enter the vatsim address. The scroll dowm menu will not appear.Any ideas?jgruschow

Just curious, 'cause I'm not a total computer know-it-all, (no offense to the people I hope will answer this!) but I don't know what this stuff is:You know those things in the lobby next to each session, there is a row of rectangles, and next to those rectangles is a number? Some of the bars are green in the sessions closest to the top of the lobby screen, and they have big numbers next to them like 456 or 3007 or 506. Everybody else, most of the time, is a session that has red and white bars next to a blue "-1". The most I have assumed of this is that these bars and numbers are some indication of your session's level of connectivity, or quality of connection.But my quest…

Has anyone out there had a problem in FSX after you click "Sign In" on your FSX's GameSpy ID? I can connect to VATSIM just fine, but the second I connect to the multiplayer's GameSpy list of game rooms it logs me off.Any ideas?brando

Whenever I try to log into the multi-player, i get "your sessions been terminated, you may have logged in on another computer" or something like that. However the problem is that this problem has happened each and every time, for 3 months now. Its not fair and I can never acess the multiplayer!can you help (which is unlikely because I was told there are NO patches or real solutions...)

hi,It has been a very long time since I last tried to use gamespy. I 've just tried today only to find out that it is as useless as ever. I thought that hopefully they had fix it. How naive I am!Now I have red eyes . As soon as I spot a session of interest, well, it goes away because of the constant updates. It just leaves me about 1 ms to click on the session. Who ever designed such mess deserves a prize for the most stupid program ever (Windows ME excluded). Hopefully there is fs hotspy!

Hello all.Maybe its already asked before , then sorry , but i could not find it on this forum.When i play trough a LAN network together with my mate i can't see the strobe and nav-lights on his plane.Also the landing and taxi lights , they are vissible but only when he turns them off.When he turns it back on i can't see them anymore.He on the other hand can see all my lights , but also has the same problem with the taxi and landinglights.Evenso with the doors , when i open them they are closed in his screen and vice versa.Can anyone help me out here ??Greetzz , Skip :(

I am usually an ATC on Multiplayer, I am wondering why no flightplans are being shown up on my ATC panel under FlightPlan and Dest. Any Ideas?

I know this has been discussed but did anyone ever find a fix for AA going off as soon as SB4 is fired up? My AA works fine in game. I read about nhancer and tried it but it didn't work for me , I also read about using SB as a stand alone but that didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I try to host a game on gamespy fsx, (never in free flight though, usually airliners), but no one ever joins. I know i get -1 usually as ping, I am using a wireless router (with wireless LAN card). What can I do to make my ping better? (DMZ On, Firewall allows FSX)
