Hi, I am Dominik and I am 13 years old but I hope to become a commercial pilot in the future. I am looking for someone to fly with In FSX Steam edition shared cockpit. I'm still learning and I am practising things like callouts, ATC, checklists and a few systems on the plane. I prefer Baron 58 and Boeing 737 but I am happy to fly anything 🙂 . B747-400 flight deck drawings

Dear Pilots,

I need B747-400 flight deck drawings with detailed measurements for home simulator project, I have been collecting the actual flight deck parts for some time to eventually interface them into a full size simulator, I was able to find few drawings that some of the simulator builders measured from an actual aircraft however I still need more detailed drawings to build the exact aircraft size frame and windows, I will be installing actual flight deck panels and trimming, I just need help with the frame. I hope some of you whom had built a full 747 sim might be able to provide some good drawing for the frame construction.

I`m José Angel Torrres Perez, en España. I need help. I have a "737 Input Overhead V2" panel from FlightSimPM. The simulator is P3Dv4.5 and the aircraft iFly737NG. I have LINDA 3.2.6.111, FSUIPC 6, LINDA recognizes the two interfaces "Button Box Interface 1 and Button Box Interface 2" but when I configure it I save it and in the simulator I have only managed to configure the light of the "logo" of the aircraft. This is my first ever Flyout event, coming from the islands of Tahiti. I have travelled there twice now, and I love the atmosphere and culture. Please enjoy the event.

About NTAA

Papeete Faa’a International Airport is the main airport serving French Polynesia. It is situated 5 kilometers southwest of Pape’ete, the capital. Both Air Tahiti Nui and Air Tahiti are based here.

The single-runway is 11,220 feet long and the airport itself can accommodate aircraft as large as the 747 or A380. The terminal has 4 stands for large aircraft and a few others for island hoppers.

About the Event

My goal is to have six attendees. Four of which will be operating 787-10 aircraft (can be found below) and the others will fly Beech King Air aircraft serving as Air Tahiti interisland flights.

Does shared cockpit on the Flythemaddogx work if one user is on P3D V5 and the other is on V4.5 (latest hotfix)?

It works for the Majestic Q400 but I'm not sure for the Maddog.

Hi all. I hope everyone is well.

This topic is in relation to a multiplayer group on FSX Steam Edition.

Basically I’m looking for individuals who are interested in joining a multiplayer group. The group is in small numbers at the minute and we are looking to grow.

The group contains individuals who are mature and enthusiastic, with every session having a military theme which is realistic but also relaxed.

Our main aircraft of choice is anything that the RAF used (we are from the U.K) from the 1940’s up until the modern day. We fly all types from jets to bombers, and transport aircraft to helicopters. We have in our ‘hangar’ all sorts of aircraft that span all nations so I’m sure we will have something that you also like to fly!

We are looking for like-minded individuals who have a passion for flying, and who are looking to fly with other adults as an enjoyable group without the worry of an open server full of kids flying F-18’s across the active runway.

If you’d like more information please just reply to this topic and I will reply as soon as I can.

I am looking for a new headset for my Vatsim flights. I accept every reccomendation in 60-70 USD bugdet. My only request is, that the headset should have a popfilter (the black fury thing in front of your mouth, on the mic), and I do not want to buy a giant, flashing gaming headset. I hope everyone is well.

Having a lot of free time at the moment and i have got a friend of mine into flight simulation. He is just starting out and is running FSX Steam edition ( i have both boxed and SE on two different machines). What i would really like to do is fly online with him so we can do a flight together. Vatsim would not be possible as my friend has only just started and i have never done flying on Vatsim either. I have heard of FSCloud and Join FS, does anyone use these and would they enable myself and my friend to do some flights around a small GA airfield?

ideally it would need to be really easy to set up

Hi, I'm releasing a cross-platform multiplayer client for joining FSX (boxed), FSX:SE and Prepar3D (possibly X-Plane at some point).

Here's a list of current features:
Pilots can join with different simulator versions FSX (Boxed), FSX:Steam, Prepar3D. (Possibly X-Plane in future).
Record aircraft and play back recordings live to other pilots in a network. Overdub new aircraft onto a recording.
Animations are transmitted over the network; landing gear, elevator, ailerons, rudder, propeller, canopy, lights and smoke.
Pilots can be present on virtual ATC networks at the same time as JoinFS. This means that all aircraft in the JoinFS network will be shown using smooth low-latency movement.

I recently ran across this video on the Pilot Edge forums:

To me, this is the ultimate in flight simming, two people remotely/virtually sharing the cockpit duties in a 737, with essentially real world ATC. I am a big fan of Pilot Edge, and I am surprised it does not get more play here in the forums. This flight was flown in X-plane, but I was hoping to try something similar in P3D. I don't currently have a 737 to try in P3D but would like to try in just a 172 to see how well it works.

I am located in the Bay Area - CA (PST) and usually fly in the evenings. PM me if you are interested in trying to connect and fly. I would like to try it without connecting to Pilot Edge first, to work out the kinks, and then I would like to try it online for the full experience. I am a VFR rated private pilot, so I am fairly comfortable with the radios, so I would be happy to be someone's copilot.

So a long, long time ago, I bought FSX Gold edition- with fsx SP1, 2, and Acceleration. My friend bought the Steam edition, and we're now trying to play together.

I don't want to pay 25 bucks just to play with him (by buying Steam edition), so how would we fly together?

I know that LAN connect directly IP mode works on my FSX Gold, but not on his Steam edition.

Shared cockpit VATSIM event

Dear All,
I am organising a shared cockpit full multi-crew VATSIM group flight session along with other Virtual Airlines. We will be flying from London to Innsbruck and back to start the day, then doing a couple of UK hops, amassing to 9 flights in total on Saturday and 10 flights in total on Sunday. We will be using a combination of the Aerosoft Airbus A320 family (NOT Professional version, unless you find someone else with P3D v4 who flies it) and the Majestic Q400 (remember you must have at least the Professional version for the shared cockpit function to work)
I will attach a more in depth schedule showing the timings, flight numbers etc. All flights will be flown on the VATSIM network, and there will be Full ATC for the UK flights due to VATSIM cross the pond.
Everyone interested please do respond with your availability and I will organise rostering on Friday. In response please include which aircraft you will be flying, your name, your experience on the aircraft, which Virtual Airline (if applicable) and if you fly for a Virtual Airline, your ranking with that Virtual Airline.
Please also note that you are more than welcome to join us in an aircraft which does not have shared cockpit functionality, for example the PMDG 737.
