Hi guys,I'm new in this FS business, so i bougth MSFSX, a cheap joystick and started flying after reading some tutorials :-)So far i'm able to fly propellor craft with some degree of success (with full realism) and the ocassional big jet (with less success...) and would like to start to get flying with others.My question is, what's the best way to do it? There is of course the in-game gamespy method but i've also heard about squawkbox to interact with ATCs.What would you reccomend that i do?Regards,J

Is it possible to do multiplayer in flight refueling? Where one player flies the tanker and the other refuel off of that airplane?If so, what a/c do I need to do this..? This strikes me as a great challenge

With Fsx accelerator I often go to multiplayer local network.I found some good servers.Whatever server I take always a couple of times I got the message no connection etc host ended etc.So I have to start all over again.I cannot get my fingers behind this problem.Is there any explanation for it.Recently I am at digital themepark server, runs smoothly but the same here again.Is there someone who knows more.Doeke

Hello Everyone,I have been having problems with Flight Simulator X, Whenever I want to join a session I just get the message "Loading Players Aircraft List..." until it eventually says "The network connection has been lost"It seems to be a problem specifically with this router, As my other router will get into FSX sessions fine but I have checked that my ports are open for FSX (6073 and 23456 UDP) with PFP Port Checker and also I changed my IP to a static IP address instead of Dynamic.Any Help Is AppreciatedKriss

does anyone has experience with matrox tripple head to go. I have 3 screens 24 inch for full screen fsx I have nice framerates and they are locked inside fsx on 31 each condition I have the full 31 fps. as soon as I connect to multiplayer my fps drop to half but in windows mode it keeps the 31 fps. also when I connect to vatsim with lots of players and aircrafts or ivao it stays 31. only exception is multiplayer even there with one host. any idea?

Just a quick note/reminder in case you're feeling bored around 2100Z today: the Digital Theme Park (Zoolander & Co.) are running a bit of a contest between two or three "squadrons" of Rick Pier's DHC-1 Chipmunk aircraft (provided) on their dedicated GameSpy server. The overall time should not be longer than an hour and a half: there are some "gotchas" to winning - one being - the first leg will be with just enough fuel to complete it; the second will be to identify what's at a gps coordinate, and then get to the destination airport before the other squadron. I have both USA and Canadian scerery. Its been approx. one year since I used them can someone tell me how do I adjust the senery. I know I was able to extract a tool and simply click the boxes as to what I wanted shown.Any help appreciated.Kenny G.

I tried several times but nothing.Anyway, i just bought this software and i am pretty confused. I did all the updates( Airacs etc) and the thing is that when i load a Flight Plan into FSX from FsBuild i cannot see the SIDS/STARS. I wanna load them into the default GPS. The Flight Plan is there but the SIDS/STARS i selected in the FsBuild are missing. I have also done the rebuild/re index of the database after the update but nothing. Ive been trying to connect to this server for some time now on FSHost Client. the IP that I have is 99.234.54.253, at the defualt port, and I cannot connect to it... All other servers that I have tried to connect work perfectly.. exept that one. Which is the one I want to get onto the most. I use to fly on that server all the time on FS9 a few years ago, and now I dont know why I cant get it working. ANy help would be appreachited.Thankyou

Hey fellas, I am in the situation of not being able to operate three wide-screen monitors and use TeamSpeak at the same time. Specifically, my monitors will not support a 50Hz refresh rate and so I can not use TH2go at the resolution I prefer (1920x1080). Off-line everything is fine as I am able to use these monitors while FSX is in "windowed" mode and still maintain a fair FPS value. Therefore, I am considering a second GTX 580, SLI, some extra cooling assistance (so I can "dial up" my I7 950 to about 4Ghz) and Nividia"s Surround to resolve this problem. I use FSCommander X but the AI-bridge module that have to run to see online traffic need a IP adress.When running FSX MP over a private server there is no problem since I then know the IP, but is there anyone that knows how to determine the IP adress on a GameSpy session??
