Hello everyone, I recently moved from FS9 to FSX with a hot new computer (AMD 3.6 Mhz) and video card (1 gig) and discovered an odd problem. Some of my MAIW aircraft turn black when I approach them. I'm using various aircraft, but the biggest problem seems to be with Tom's HTAI F-16. If there are four or five sitting together, one or two will be ok but the rest will be black. When I taxi past them and look back or go to outside view, the ones that were in full color are black too. I've been using fsx for a while, and enjoyed the multiplayer, but I cannot connect to any severs using direct connect. My internet isn't crappy, I have the right ports, but I keep getting the "cannot make connection to host" error. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello - I am the owner of the FSNB Bluebirds, a rather new formation demonstration team here in Eastern Canada. We fly the Lockheed T-33 and practice 1-1/2 hours three times a week - Sunday, Monday and Thursday evenings @ 1930 hrs local time (2330 UTC) our airport is CYSJ and we fly on my servers locl IP address via FSX Multiplayer. We are looking for a "cameraman" to capture and send the video pickup to our Livestream channel. Hi FS World, Recently when flying in close formation I noticed the aircraft in the multiplayer server were jittering back and forwards very quickly, which as you can imagine, makes it very hard to fly in close formation with (as along with the aircraft itself are small ghosts of it in short distances infront and behind it due to it jittering back and forwards). Has anyone else seen this, and have they found a fix so it doesn't happen. I never used to witness it. Cheers

Hello fellow members, I am ATC administrator for FS-MP server and am hosting a landing competiton on Saturday February, 2nd at 7 P.M EDT/ 0000 Zulu. Every week I put on this landing competition for the pilots of FS-MP. It has turned into a big event on our server and I thought I would like spread the word on the forum. When I tried to sign into Gamespy on my FSX Gold edition, the sim did nothing after I hit the sign-in button. The signin button was dead, meaning it did nothing when I hit it. Please help.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with FSX/Accel. in the past and found a fix. I have attempted to use AI tower during flights. I have noticed that when I do and I ask for clearance to taxi to the active runway, the tower will clear me but tell me to taxi to a runway that does not exist at the airport that I am currently located. This only happens when I use AI tower. Could this be a result of Traffic X being installed or possibly a .dll issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. LE151

I get a tcas alert when I fly on multiplayer and I'm any where near another player. This includes ON THE GROUND! Its so annoying, how do I turn it off? I've tried the power button. Nothing. Screen black, still noise. Q for sound. Nothing but TCAS ALERT! Please help me here. Thanks.

Both my room mate and I are having this problem on separate computers. When I click "sign in" after entering my account name and PW; nothing happens. Not even the message "connecting..." and then an error message; just nothing at all happens. When I unplug the router I get an "unable to connect" message; which leads me to believe that my network is OK and the problem is with Gamespy. I am in SE PA USA and use a local internet company called RCN. Multiplayer was fine two days ago which was the last time I tried before this issue came up. Anyone else having issues? Donald

I've just successfully set up a 'dedicated' server on a separate computer. As dedicated as it can be anyway. My question is: Is it necessary to install scenery such as Orbx and their airports on the server? The reason I ask is that myself and the people I fly with all have Orbx PNW etc. + airports and when joining, say, Digital Theme Parks server, on occasions we've been 'spawned' off airport and out in the boonies! We always put that down to the server not having the same scenery as us. Are we right? Cheers.

Hello, I'm new to AVSIM so Hi again . On a serious note, I have heard that gamespy servers are no longer active for FSX. I'm assuming this is true, as I no longer see the "connecting" message. #2: I've been recently trying to connect to FSMP (server over LAN), is this server down and inactive? If it isn't could someone please help; I have great internet connection and I was able to connect to regular multiplayer in the past. Might be a port problem? Thank you very much!!!
