Question regarding multiplay, have you heard of this problem? No engine response after re-transferring aircraft control back to host on ground. hey,been getting a little tired of the FSX ATC interface, even more so since I started experiementing ith the vatsim stuff.Does anyone know if there is an add on out there that I could use for FSX default multioplayer ATC ?

I would like to set it up so that an instructor could sit in the co-pilots seat and make weather changes happen on the fly.If sitting right seat is the answer to the instructor module then how come they left this part out?

I fly in MP almost exclusivly, with the same crowd, almost everyday, and we hardly ever have a problem with Gamespy. The one issue some of us do have is connecting to a lobby. Once in a while someone has to constantly keep reconnecting until it lets them past the 'Local Area Network' and into the lobby we use. Most of the ones with the problem are connecting from overseas and usually if they just sit there for a minute or two they are then let in.However once they are in the session, we seldom have any other problems, and I think I now know why, after a new problem popped up yesterday. Why are the most menu commands grey in Multiplayer Mode?

Just wondering why I would have 25 fps sitting at the end of the runway at LAX in Free Flight, and 10 fps in Multiplayer at the same location? Are fps affected by other players Internet connection, or do multiplayer planes use the same amount of "juice" as AI planes in Free Flight... (AI in free flight is set to 0)?If the later is the case, can I turn off multiplayer aircraft, or replace all multiplayer with a very minimal type of aircraft?

I dont usually rant... but wow. Gamespy sucks. I haven't been able to stay in a single multiplay game for more than 3 min. all day... no matter what the server, no matter what the connection... what's up with gamespy?EDIT: it keeps saying "host canceled session", then it kicks me out of gamespy completely...

I would like to know which payware airliners or corporate jets with FMC work satisfactory in Flight Simulator X shared cockpit mode. I know about Leonardo Software's Fly The Maddog 2006 but how about Level-D Simulations 767, Majestic Software's Dash 8 Q300, FeelThere's 737 Pilot in Command, Airbus Series Volume 1, ERJ 145 Pilot in Command, Citation X or Legacy? A friend and myself are having problems hosting &/or joining each others session. We can both join someone elses session and fly together with no problem. Our hosting session connection rating always shows -1 in red. From what I have read, it indicates that we might have an internet, router issue or problem. I have checked my DSL system and it is well within limits, 100.0 Mbps.My question is, what step or steps can we take to improve our connection rating? I was in the middle of trying to make FSX's multiplayer work for me, when I got disconnected from GameSpy (this happened about 5 minutes ago). Well, nothing new there.However, logging in since then has not seemed to work. I get through to the lobby view and can see my friends list, but none of the lobbies actually show anything. I don't get the lobby user list either. Trying to change a lobby takes forever and freezes FSX, until eventually I time out and get disconnected from GameSpy.I've never seen this behavior before, so I'm guessing it could be a problem with GameSpy's servers (as in, them being down or somesuch). Is anyone else experiencing these problems right now?

Hi, i have both the flightsim some time ago, and startet last night to use the online part.I had made a acount, and started logging in.I went to a server and fly a little, after that i wend back to the server select screen to select a new server.But i got the sine that i was logd off, and if i maby had logd in whit a nother pc.Dos that mean that some one els is using my game key as well?Best regards Ronald

Hi,perhaps this is a really old matter, but I want to know, if there is any fix for that: In multiplayer, i can kick ppl or add them to friends list. I cannot ban them, this option is in the menu, but greyed out. So, this looks to me as if it is there, but some way not enabled. Is this a known problem and is there a fix? Or a workaround? For bad luck theres not even a way to catch the IP or something else, otherwise I could code some workaround.I have SP1 installed, just in case someone suggesting it might be that.Greetings,Chris.

We are the best and only Air Force on Gamespy. We host Airshows on Fridays, Dogfight sessions on Saturday, and free flight sessions on Sunday. Does anyone know how to stop them? i have had them since I found freeware aircraft. I think I may have to reinstall FSX or windows. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but I am looking at using the cockpit sharing aspect within a multi PC setup - sort of like a WideView setup without WideView and with the ability to have guages over more than one PC.What are the limitations to this, can a cockpit only be shared by two clients?Thanks...

I've been seeing this more and more on FSX servers - people have shared their aircraft, they do not yet have anyone in the cockpit with them, but the "Join Aircraft" button is greyed out?It doesn't seem to matter if they are already in-game or still in the briefing room. It also can not be related to password protection, since the password is asked after clicking on the button (which is not possible since it's greyed out).Does anyone have a clue why this is?
