Having just gotten the Mirage and had a quick flight around LDDU, I thought Paris seemed the obvious place to visit. Started out from LFBD for no reason other than it caught my eye on the world map at start time. Heading over Bordeaux itself Heading north. Was originally planning to just cruise up the coast Climbing. Forsaking my usual "low n' slow" Up around 20,000 now I've always liked the look of this family of aircraft After a bit I decided to head for Paris. Possibly couldn't do that for real in terms of fuel etc but I don't do "real", so I pointed it in the vague direction of Paris and left it flying while I did some stuff on …

In this part is, with the help of GSX Pro, the preparing, boarding and take-off of Ryanair B737-800 with destination John Lennon Airport at Liverpool. As most used and direction west is Runway 27 used. I was surprised that the passengers did not come out of the terminal-building but arrived by airport-bus, I suppose that I did not well configured GSX Pro...is new for me and have still to learn how to operate as requested. Thans for viewing...any comment is welcome.

Went to check if LDDU had gotten any attention in the last update. Doesn't look like it. Orbx used to have a nice one for P3D but we know how that works. While I was "purchasing" the update in the markteplace I spotted the Mirage going for about £6, and although their stuff is a bit ropey the external model is nice and I like the aircraft so . . . heading up to Dubrovnik I thought "what on earth is that?" So I went down to take a look One of the things that struck me was that it felt a bit like the LODs had been messed with again. The hills in the background here look a bit vague on my big screen, and I don't mean because of any atmospherics or ha…

The latest product from Pyreegue is England's airport East Midland(EGNX). In my opinion the sofar most detailled airport-scenery that I have seen for MSFS. So much attention for faithful repro of the reality. Therefor I can't give an overview in just 20 shots that is allowed in one posting. So, hereby a 1st batch of 20 screenshots concentrated around genear overview, arrival by car & bus and the interiour. In 2e part the rest of the airport concentrated around travel for passengers and hotel accommodation. A 3rd part more concentrated around cargo handling and cargo depots+site of historic planes on the other side of the airport and a shot of the Donnington racecircui…

A short flight from Stapleford Abbots, EGSG, up over Stansted and on to finish at Rayne Hall Farm, EG83. I used an old DH60 Gipsy Moth which is an FSX conversion and has no cockpit to speak of, in that none of the dials or instruments converted ok. But that's not much of an issue with a plane that is barely faster than a bicycle anyway. This is a three part post, and this fiirst part is really an exploration of Orbx's EGSG. I seem to remember this came out in P3D days and is a portover by them. Prime stuff in its day, still not bad looking today. Airport security? And off we go …

Last part of my little trip in the Gipsy Moth. Just a few miles east of Stansted is EG83, Rayne Hall Farm airfield, another little gem from Vortex and available on .to ( https://flightsim.to/file/56315/rayne-hall-farm-airfield-eg83) Here we are heading in Doesn't look like anything special, does it? But let's take a look around Allo, allo, what's going on 'ere then squire? Odd little scenario to include in a scenery like this. I'll explain my own theory at the end Somebody's keeping well out of the way of all that Lovely detailing,as with all these Vortex airfields And stil…

so here's the second set of pix. Have left EGSG and heading north to have a little look down on Stansted from the air. Still in the DH60, which is quite fun and would be lovely to have as a properly rendered and modelled native version. As you might be aware, following the freeways in XP is one of my favourite things,so I thought I'd try it out here but although I've got a ground traffic vehicles addon, the MSFS roads really don't encourage any kind of close observation Coming up over EGSS Got the AIG running, and there's usually something going on here Lots of nice detail around the airport, as well as…

I've been exploring a few small strips around the Essex/Herts area, and found myself being drawn to EGSS on most of those flights. The IniBuilds version is quite simply one of the best airports I've ever seen in a sim. I have been spending hours just wandering around, inside and out, and I've probably takne a couple of hundred shots of the place (but don't panic, I don't plan to post them all. Well, maybe not . . .) It's strange really. I find an airport done like this absolutely fascinating in a sim, but I would be horrified to have to spend time there in real life. In some ways, that's the most remarkable thing about scenery as good as this - how it totally capture…
