Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

All right, Cosne/LFGH is a very tiny field in the center of France. But I’ve added a lot a detail (I mean a lot) to create immersion and make it as real as possible for a small General Aviation field. Located on La Loire river and the famous french castles, it has all the basic of small GA fiel in France: one runway, few hangars, the famous Loire Aviation repair shop for Robin, a single Unicom freq, no tower but Avgas is available and even a helipad for emergency services ! Enjoy this classic in MSFS to visit La Loire and the great surroundings landscape. Why this update? As many field in France, there’s a big construction project ongoing adding a big solar farm…

Next month, I plan some (real) VFR flights in San Diego. I’m currently in France, so what a better place to train than my MSFS with some homemade sceneries and ipad+Foreflight connected to my PC. Northbound, along the Pacific coast. The depicted weather by MSFS is very close to what I imagine and what I get from a METAR (BKN015). Challenging enough to make me think of “what would I do if I were in this situation? What are my options?” and so on… Foreflight displayed an AI small aircraft departure just when I arrive. Perfect training! I have to deal with overhead to check the field at 1’500 ft or joining directly the left downwind… Finally did a mix : overhead the…
