DPA was just released (by Flight FX on the marketplace, Contrail, flightsim.to) and I intended to fly a relaxing IFR flight down to DuPage from Red Wing, MN. There were a couple of storms in the area which made for some nice views so I turned the flight into a screenshot one haha. Not a whole lot to tell about this flight - I need to do a mini review of DPA eventually, perhaps on a more sunny day. Well, if we have a collection thread for videos, we might as well have one for screenshots. Any X-Plane release is welcome. I'll start with some from XP12.06r3. I was flying out of a small, rain soaked airfield in the Brétagne when the early autumn sun started poking through holes in the thinning cloud cover, immediately bathing the default BE-58's cockpit in light and shadow. I was impressed by the posting from pmplayer of the Berlin Airport EDDI scenery of the year 1935,modelled by Redwing. In addition to his fine posting I hereby post some shots of the 2 other historic airports as it was in 1935. Friedrichshafen - EDNY - Animated moving(very slowly) of Zeppelin Hindenburg D-LZ129 out of the enormous hangar to locate 180 degrees at the grassfield. Just installed the NZA NZMF. Although I know this is a wonderfully scenic location, I hardly ever go there as I'm not a huge fan of mountainous areas. But the preview video of this looked great and I remember it well from P3D days so I got a copy. But definitely having issues. Two main issues are firstly the large detached chunk of mountain face seen in this picture, and also the general state of the mountain tops. I have the Orbx NZ Mesh in place, but it all looks like blancmange. The detached chink of surfacing might be to do with the NZA product or not, is anybody else getting this? The general softness of the mountains is a mystery though. It seems to be the…

Enjoyed a very immersive flight today. Storms in Guangzhou, raining in Shanghai. Passenger satisfaction in PACX dipped pretty low from the rough ride early on... What a great hobby!
