The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

LFLB – Chambéry Aix les Bains, well worth getting the airport: Taking advantage of the sale prices, I also got Alsace VFR: and thought: what the heck, go for the whole mesh while you're at it. This gets pretty detailed in places which leads one to Courcheval to see if it fits - it does but with an anomaly, which I had before the mesh: a large hole under the ski lift. I wondered if anyone else has this and/or a fix?

Gotta confess I'm a spot-view junkie. I love flying in external view so I can take in more of my surroundings. But to atone for my sins, here are some (mostly) interior shots. I decided to take a break from Tileproxy and just enjoy FSX's default scenery. FSX is still for sale--just saw it at Best Buy the other day. It's a great product and Carenado's aircraft make it an enjoyable general aviation sim. I especially like the Centurion, since it can cover your average flight in a hurry and get in and out of small fields. I wish Carenado would model the P210 too... Maybe someday. Hope you enjoy these screenshots! John

Crossing the New Jersey coastline at Barnegat Inlet. Passing just south of Kingston, Ontario. (Not FSAltitude's finest moment; the low-res blurriness is especially evident here.) John

I downloaded the ENB mod the other day to give it a test run. I kinda prefer to run without it in the daylight, but when the sun starts setting it really adds a nice little punch to the lighting. A short hop from Little Rock AFB to Tulsa with a hot load of cargo was the mission:

KORD-VHHH with PMDG 747-400 and OpusFSX weather. I didn't fly the actual departure time, but used real time, because there are issues with Opus. The metars were right on with actual, there were occasional sudden weather shifts, but the A/P maintained control. Cant wait for the PMDG 777-300ER!

We begin, taxiing to runway 23 at LSGG: Climbing out to the west: A look back at Geneva as we turn north: The mountains surrounding the valley where Geneva sits do a nice job of blocking the last bits of sunlight, you can see the shadows to the south, and sunlight to the north: Chasing the sun across France: Holding over the Biggin Hill VOR for our sequence in to LHR, can you see our company? Leaving the hold, heading 265 and descending to 4,000ft: Final Approach, RWY27R into LHR: We were maintaining 170knts to 5DME for traffic behind us, here we are short final: Short final into LHR: …
