The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi guys! After reading so many positive comments about the OPUS weather engine, it ends just like always - I hate this damn hobby  Took some pictures while climbing out of Leipzig during a test flight. The weather rendition looks pretty cool, especially low altitude clouds and smooth wind transitions breath once again new live into good old FSX. Tobias

KFLL-KPHL today as Sandy continued her march up the eastern seaboard of the U.S. During the flight she was about 300 miles ESE of North Carolina and moving at about 7 mph. The cloud swath extended from the northern Bahamas up to Philadelphia and beyond. My route and Sandy's location in the AS2012 map: Over ZAPPA (northern Bahamas): At FL370, as close as my route took me to the core, but still some impressive thunder heads: Same location through the glass: Over SIE (south Jersey) and turning toward Philly: Tucked-in at the PHL cargo terminal with some of Sandy's initial clouds rolling in:

I had the good fortune to be sent to this island twenty years ago, almost to the day, in order to evaluate living on the island for a position I was being offered. Sadly, I chose not to move there due to the high housing expenses. But my potential employer made the trip memorable, flying me out from the States at their expense via Tokyo, and putting me up in their resort (which I captured in one of the screenshots). I spent three memorable days there, although I had a horrible case of jet lag. And I flew over the island not in a 172, but in a 747. OK, for those geographically savvy, I've dropped some hints. What island is it? Love the look of Carenado's 172…

Hey folks, I´m back in the left seat after approximately 4 months without any flying I just felt that I needed a break after more than 6 years of non stop flying. So these are the first shots of my first flight since July, featuing a 737-900 flying for United. Where we land is top secret but I know you´ll get it pretty fast. ;-) ` Sadly we had to do an Go-Arround cause the ATC guy missed an flight xD Finaly home with only 20 Minutes delay. I hope you liked them and had as much joy as I had flying that babe again! See you next time.
