The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  6. Talk about unexpected! I've been using a combination of Horizon's Generation X VFR scenery for central England, plus the Treescapes and UK2000 airfields for that area. Late last night I decided to fly a Jet Provost T5 out of RAF Cranwell. I set up some nice clouds in REX, and took off for a relaxing flight to get me sleepy enough for bed. All thought of sleep was instantly forgotten when I looked up (in VC mode) and saw a small black triangle high above. At first I thought it was a scenery glitch, but decided to climb to investigate it. Here are some screenshots. If you have these sceneries, check it for yourself! 1. This was my first view, looking up and wonde…

Took off near Capitol Reef National Park and just kept heading east. Evenrually flew all the way to Denver in the King Air, but these screenshots cover the journey over Utah. Enjoy!

Hi, I hope for this to be the first of a series of visual diaries of my adventures in the PMDG NGX. I especially enjoy mimicking real world flights, grabbing the routes and times of departure, even gate info, from Flightaware. I even try to capture details like the vectors used during approach by listening to the real flight with LiveATC. Anyways, here is a memorable long haul for the NGX, from KSFO to KBOS, as United flight 1721 on Friday 10/12/12. Departure from KSFO gate 85 about 6:00AM PDT, Arrival at KBOS gate C18 6:42PM EDT. At the Gate, nice and early! Taxing to runway 01R, with Fedex A300 climbing out from 28R Overflying downtown San Franci…

Second try on this thread--I posted some screenshots today of my flight in Eaglesoft's Columbia, but the thread vanished from these forums. No reason for that to happen, so probably was accidental. Anyway, enjoy these screenshots! John

  20. What happens when you combine one of the best addons for FS and the best livery ever painted on an aircraft? This: Fictional registration Ra-85666 was a logical choice. A Project Tupolev Tu-154B2 for FSX in The final frontier World Tour 2011 livery. Work in progress
