The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Did some more flying today, a real time flight from Phoenix to Salt Lake (I landed near Ogden). I find that lowering my fps lock to 18 helps offset the performance hit of this aircraft, which enables Tileproxy to stay caught up even when I am cruising at 280kts. From the flight levels, I can't tell the difference between 18 fps and my normal lock of 30 fps. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the screenshots! Regards, John

Well, I went ahead and bought it, as a previous owner of the scenery I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a discount for existing customers- but I wasn't going to let it prevent me from seeing ATL in 2012 standards. Anyway, I plonked myself on the north side of the airfield at a GA position, I ended up in a heap of cargo pallets, alongside a cessna caravan which had suffered a similar fate, sitting in boxes. Now I removed the previous version from my scenery library, but have yet to fully uninstall, so perhaps there is a problem with the 2 AFCADs getting along, so I won't blame this problem on the new version just yet, still more testing to do regarding that. …

Took advantage (was taken advantage of?) Aerosoft's recent sale to have a look at Mallorca. Well done scenery, my word there are a lot of German tourists on this island, judging by the surprising amount of traffic!

Hello folks, I took a few hours today and went flying for some basic navigational and general aviation training. Our flight took us from Portland to Hillsboro. Weather was a slight concern as we had low clouds, and a very slight fog layer reported on the way to Hillsboro. Enjoy Looking across the river on the way to Hillsboro Over the river now, after our turn we will have a very long extended base leg into hillsboro Turning Final, as feared the vis has taken a turn for the worse, the runway lights can be seen, and the choice to continue the approach is made Final now, after a little correcting the approach looked great. I hope you enjoy the …

Leg number 3 sees me go from the number 1 busiest airport in the US to number 10 KIAH - George Bush airport. The 620nm passed by in 1hr 30mins and I landed in calm weather on Rwy 33R. With 19.3Million passengers in 2011 this is the most Southern of my top ten US airports. Thanks Steve.

Greetings fellow simmer, It has been a while since I posted any screen shots so I put aside some time to share some of my latest shots with the community. This batch show my latest addition to my fleet, the excellent DC-9 from Coolsky with texture works by McPhat. I also made a video of the DC-9 with some nice photoreal background scenery which can be viewed on my youtube channel (in both original soundtrack & audioswap) -> http://www.youtube.c...me?feature=mhee Enjoy this random batch of shots showing off the DC-9 with its six normal definition release liveries: Thank you, I hope you enjoyed the view.
