Continuing my journey today..., scenery by Tileproxy. I flew the Carenado Malibu Jetprop about a thousand miles today, real time. It's the perfect plane for short hops. I started my flight off a dirt strip at Lake Pleasant, AZ. Hope you enjoy the shots! John

FS Global Ultimate Earth Simulations

I took the Qualitywings RNZAF 757-200 from Whenuapai to Christchurch today in preparation for a supply flight to McMurdo Station on Antarctica later this week. Here are some shots. 1. Taking off from Whenuapai. 2. Solid climb angle with downtown Auckland in the distance 3. Turning south after reaching the first waypoint 4. Passing over Mt. Taranaki (2518m high) 5. Default bloom/hdr can sometimes give you some cool effects 6. Crossing to the South Island with many bays to our left 7. Descending towards the flats in which Christchurch is located 8. It's been a year since I've purchased any payware, so I decided to purchase the Carenado Meridian. Here's some screenshots of my first flight with it (the first shot is of a different livery). FS Global Ultimate Sim Savvy 50cm Idaho

Took a nice realtime flight from Phoenix, AZ to Santa Ana California. Along the way I made a few tweaks to the Carenado aircraft, noticed FF was a little high compared to the aircraft charts, so I adjusted the FF scalar to compensate. Something to do while I soared in the Flight Levels over the Sonoran desert. The scenery was generated by Tileproxy, hope you like the screenshots. John

The Minden area is amongst several places I've lived. Minden lies at the foot of the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada. I used to drive from the valley floor up and over the ridge to my office in Lake Tahoe--and during that drive I felt like I was flying as I ascended over 4000 feet above the valley floor. This part of Nevada is where the mountains give way to the Nevada desert, and I've included shots showing both. Needless to say, the breathtaking beauty of the area makes it one of my favorite places to fly in FS-X. The scenery was generated by Tileproxy, and the flight covered terrain from Minden to Carson City, Nevada. Enjoy! John
