Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Up North in the Great Valley. Today's journey takes us from the California state capitol of Sacramento (the home of Gov. Moonbeam and other Legislative crazies) to the foothills of the Sierra's. Oh yeh, it's Blue Sky scenery. I hope you enjoyed these screen-shots and please feel free to comment since it is always appreciated...Darryl NOTE: NOT EDITED except for borders, resizing & a slight sharpening.

I just picked up a G-21 Goose for X-Plane and took it out for a spin up in northern Montana. Pretty cool plane, though it was made for XP9. I landed the Goose then took a Hughes 500 up for a closer look at things. I snapped this one while hovering over a small lake at the base of a mountain. There's something oddly familiar about this... something.... magical, perhaps?

Howdy guys, this is a small flight report as well as a review using the recently released Coolsky/McPhat DC-9. The DC-9 is a classic aircraft, with not much automation. It has radios, VOR, ADF and a very basic autopilot. As the predecessor of the MD-80 it's one of the most well known aircrafts. So, I decided to do a small flight from Calgary (Alberta, Canada) to Kelowna (British Columbia, Canada) with the Air Canada DC-9-30. How do I do it, if there are no such systems like FMC's or GPS installed? Simply by Radio-Navigation. www.skyvector.com offers airway charts for the whole world now, so it's pretty handy to use for such purpose. My flight will leave C…

Carenado's C337 for FS2004 has a few bugs in the initial release, but they don't detract from the visual model which is brilliant. It's possibly the imperfections which make it so realistic: panel lines not quite matching, bits showing some wear, and so on. And just look at the wheel detailing, always an indicator of fine modelling. And it's a favoured aircraft; not just any ole Cessna, it's an IFR twin, albeit with just 4 seats

A very hot weekend here in "SoCal" so we decided to cool off by flying out to Catalina Island for lunch. Catalina is known for having wild Bison out on the island. Didn't see any as we landed. Must be too hot... hiding in the shades. Good grub, though. Clutch (Prepar3D with new Aerosoft US Cities X - Los Angeles)

Hi, was running through some practice visual approaches at night into KIAH with the PMDG NGX (United 737-800), and came upon an ERJ on short finals. I have run into numerous AI on approach (with crash detection off off course!), but I'm particularly fond of this shot, as I am so close I can even see the heat blur from the engines! Hope you like.

I have found in my 31 years of simming my needs/wants for a sim has been a constantly changing situation e.g. when getting basic ppl is was ability to set winds and practice basic stuff, when getting ifr rating it was smooth operating instruments, when getting multi engine rating it was realistic single engine operations. Now I have moved from the midwest of the US to the southern California area it is getting scenery that gives me a good impression of reality-I want to explore my new area of the world as best I can. For the midwest-autogen and generic textures both in fs and xplane did fine. Now with the all the incredible subtle western scenery...well...you can dec…
