The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. Hi everyone I just wanted to share some photos of the EXCELLENT Black Box Simulation A320 for FSX. It's fully functional (almost) in the current version and can be used successfully with Navigraph navdata including SIDs and STARs. The FBW is absolutely brilliant. It flies like a dream. I highly recommend it!!!! check out their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook...ckBoxSimulation and homepage here http://www.blackboxsimulation.com/ Credit to João Galaio da Silva for the BA repaint in these shots. Chris PS: addons include Aerosoft LEPA, UT2 with summer 2012 timetable, AS2012, FSGlobalX.

  11. I've spent the last month tweaking and optimising FSX after trying the DX10 shader mods and am finally very happy with the results. I've decided to take a virtual tour of the Greek Islands in my JF PA28 Warrior. I plan to do a similar "real life" tour in a couple of years so it was a good excuse to try the journey in the flight sim first. No FMCs, no autopilots, no GPS. Just maps, compass and a good supply of pens were used in the making of these screenshots. Believe me it's much more fun that way Scenery is courtesy of UTX Europe and extra details downloaded from various freeware authors from the excellent http://www.freewares...ry.com/fsx.html website. …

Here is a collection of shots that I took way back in July, during my Big Island adventures... Original comentary from July: "FLIGHT is a very controversial sim/game. Some people think its a big step forward in flight simulation, others that its a total disaster. Well, its hard to tell if its a big step forward, but Im sure its not a disaster. FLIGHT is not the same as FS, XPlane, and any other simulation game. Its focused on newcomers, but also it has features that, in my opinion, are interesting for senior simmers. Anyway, yesterday I downloaded it, and my first thoughts were: whats this suposed to be? I mean, nothing here looks as it should. And the annoying flight…

I hope you enjoyed these screen-shots and please feel free to comment since it is always appreciated...Darryl NOTE: NOT EDITED except for borders, resizing, contrast boasting & a slight sharpening.

Howdee folks! Getting back into the pilot's seat now that summer is starting to slow down and things are getting back to a manageable pace. It's been FAR too long since I've been active in FS including visiting and participating in the forums and it looks like I've been missing out. With that being said, enjoy these shots and looking forward to being a regular poster/participator going forward!

Went from KESW to KOMK shortly after dawn. Wow. How much beauty can a man handle during one flight? What an awesome flight this was! Great mood, great light, great everything! Obviously you'd have to see it in motion to really appreciate it all... I really like that GNS530's Terrain view in certain situations... And I also love GPS approaches! Great approach over green fields with those valleys in the distance.

Hi guys, I bought the FSX version last week and decided to make my first video after 2 years with it, seen here approaching my newly found favourite London City by UK2000: http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=9mlA1H5K9-M (remove the space after "com/") Nothing special though, but as I said, I haven't made any videos for two years o_O also I will start this evening with some paints for the FSX version, planned are the entire Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines fleets, Eurowings and Buzz, should be around 10 different paints, thanks to QW for not ruining the texturing and paintkit like pmdg did with the ngx :( (I had planned over 100 paints for the 738 - mostly fleets …
