The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi guys, hope you enjoy this shot. Just wondering, does anyone know of anywhere where settings for "Shade" are shared, or a forum to compare etc? Thanks!

Wow, that Cloud Density (equals 12) setting really makes a difference in FSX with ASE/REX combo. This is a Southwest flight over Ohio enroute to KMDW! from KBWI

The aircraft is the Aerosoft Falcon Ultralight. It's a great aircraft for enjoying flight over scenery at low altitude. I hope you enjoy the screenshots. Regards, John

Took the RealAir Duke out for a flight over my home territory, this time the Phoenix Metro area. I love the Duke for flights under four hundred miles. It's such a great aircraft to fly and it's a great backdrop for screenshots. The Phoenix scenery is generated by Tileproxy. Enjoy! John

This is one of my favorite parts of the country to fly over, in real life and in the sim (when I'm using Tileproxy). The farmland below displays many beautiful patterns. Most of these shots are from a passenger's perspective. I imagine myself relaxing on a trip home from somwhere up in the flight levels with the Duke. I hope you enjoy the screenshots. Regards, John
