The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

here's the new l1011 from Captain Sim, I was very skeptical about buying this plane, basically because of all the negative comments made in the past and right fully so, but this model seems to be a winner, with not all the bugs, more importantly hope you enjoy the shots. The first couple are over Anchorage, Alaska, and then we move over to Juneau, Alaska. just a few more random shots,

Some various screenshots I've taken over some scenery generated with FSEarthTiles. It's an amazing program, it really enriches FS2004 for those with older legacy aircraft they enjoy. John

My first time uploading a screenshot, I read all the rules and the tutorial so I hope I'm doing it right and not breaking any rule, so here we go. Tonight I did WestJet1124 CYLW (Kelwona) - CYVR (Vancouver). It was in a 737-700 (C-GWJT). The WX out of YLW was pretty good; 9sm and a ceiling of about 4800' above the ground, not very many bumps enroute and YVR was pretty good too. Hi everyone, Just wanted to share my journey from Dubai to Hong Kong with an Emirates A380. I flew the route over the weekend, a journey of roughly 7 hours 30 minutes. As always, the flight was done in real time with Active Sky providing the weather and FSRealTime keeping things synced. Enjoy! Parked at Gate D08 as EK380 (What an appropriate flight number!) No prizes for guessing the dominant carrier Pushing back and we're finally on our way on this beautiful day Taxiing to the active. These massive wings with massive droop are just as amazing in real life. Lining up as a company 77W heads off to London Powerful rotation Such a slo…

I'm in the processing of creating a scenery generator tool for X-Plane. Below is an early preview of Berlin. Height, wall, material and roof colors are read from OSM and correctly generated In some areas in Berlin, buildings have lots of information. People seem to have started mapping 3D information for buildings all over the world, so we will be getting a lot of city scenery for free :-). Of course it's also easy to contribute yourself to OSM, even if you set the colour or height (number of stories) for buildings in your local area. Complex forests and buildings with holes are supported.

A collection of pictures from my first visit to Salzburg. Sim: X-Plane 10 in Linux. Time to leave Tampere I forgot how the 757 climbs like a rocket Climbing to cruise, leaving Finland: Good thing our route turns right, although more and more of the route is being covered as the clouds move. Ready for descent, lovely sunset: Runway in sight: Finals, 15: Lovely Scenery here: The sun is vanishing behind the mountains as we taxi to the stand. Thanks for looking!

  23. Well, after the "big storm" Thursday morning, where we may be received a couple of hundredth inches of rain, I look outside my window and see another clear blue sky. Time to go flying, and since it is so nice for the dead of winter, an open cockpit biplane is in order! Going to take off from KWVI, Watsonville. I have a good real-life association with Watsonville Muni, as that is where my Dad hangered his semi-aerobatic ... damn, can't remember the make! It was a fabric-skin, high-wing aircraft, with stick and rudder controls and front and rear seating rated for aerobatic maneuvers. It was a "semi", cause if you went inverted you had to point her to the ground to resta…

Howdee all, Here's a pic-o-mix of shots I snapped on different flights over the past few weeks. Really wish "real-life" could take a back seat for a month or two so I can get back into some serious flying :vava: Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!! Forgot to turn off the FPS counter in this shot
