The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  5. Well since the northeast was having so much snow today, I figured for one time fly in just a real nice pleasant day out of JFK and into Washington Dulles, hope you enjoy them. One shot, just before taking off on runway 31L you see the NYC backround, and another shot while making a right turn, down below is the Verrazano bridge.

The Incredible FlyJsim 727. My first high end heavy jet addon for XP10.. words can't describe the handling, realism and smoothness of flying a bird like this in XP. It must be experienced to be believed that this is possible in a desktop flight simulator.. Pics taken at Shreveport Louisiana KSHV and Fayetteville Arkansas KFYV.

  8. Following on the heels of my previous flight from Monterrey to Santa Maria, I thought I would post (again, real weather according to looking outside the window and Opus) another flight in the miserable paradise we call California. Flying with P3D 1.4, Orbx FTX Global, and Opus with REX OD textures. Drought be damned, this January has been one for the books! This time I wanted to go low and slow, and flew the Manfred Jann C-47. If you do NOT have this aircraft I most highly recommend picking it up. It is a FABULOUS freeware aircraft, and the sound packs from TuFun (Ted) make it all the better. Check it out over on SOH. It is a an aircraft with "soul" - ######-poor visi…

Just flying around in the New York snowstorm here. Turning onto runway 4 left. From the passenger cabin. Gear retracting and climbing out of JFK. Right turn to heading 100 as we can see....absolutely nothing. Looking for the runway. Runway in sight. From the Captain's seat. Touchdown runway 4 right at JFK.

Thought this one looked pretty cool. After an equipment change to a 738 United Flight 820 from Mexico City to San Francisco, turning away from the Catalina Island VOR back towards the West Coast, I glanced over to see the morning light cloud deck over the Los Angeles area. Weather Engine is ASN with REXE OD cloud textures.

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Long long long time before FLYING WILD ALASKA Era Airline and NWT ICE PILOTS Buffalo Airways became famous on national tv, there was real and original Ice Pilots stuff called Reeve Aleutian Airways which for many years from 1947 to 2000 dominated very difficult and dangerous routes within Alaska using many different propeller planes in ultra freezing winter weather conditions. Reeve Aleutian Airways had started jet operations with new 727s for first time!!! Presenting Reeve Aleutian Airways' maiden jet flight on New Year Eve where passengers are boarding in middle of snowstorm for flight from PAOM Nome Airport located two nautical mi…
