Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I did not know that Photoreal scenery could be created at this resolution for FS2004.... FSEarthtiles makes it possible... The Mitchell Wing is one reason I still like FS2004--some cool legacy Ultralights can be found for it. John

Hello everyone! First let me say that it has been a few years since I stepped away from simming but it's good to be back. After days if setting up my new rig, purchasing all of the latest goodies and tinkering, I am very satisfied. The ORBX scenery is always a nice treat for the eyes and I have tweaked FSX for DX10. I don't know if it's these old eyes or my imagination but everything looks a bit smoother yet a bit more detailed. The aircraft skins and windows gleam in the sunlight. The shadows, water, haze and sun sets are just something to behold. While there are lots of textures out there, I chose the Rex4 stuff to go with. After realizing that Microsoft no longer has r…

Good afternoon, Thought I would share this shot I managed to snap on my way out of CYVR. Looks like the morning fog blew over and just in time for a beautiful afternoon crossing to RKSI as KAL 072. BTW - FO was flying the leg back today. Cheers,

And here we are, looking through the HUD and breaking through the clouds down on our way to Ketchikan. Back in flightschool my instructor always preached "trust your intruments" and since then they have never betrayed me. At around 500 feet the runway lights popped out of the fog and I disconnected the autopilot, taking the machine back in my own hands. We touched down with confidence - "speedbrakes up, reverse green!" and slowed down to a safe speed. We made it, without any strong winds on final for which Ketchikan is well known for. The parking brakes were set and it was time to relax for a while before we fly back to Juneau. New passengers were board…

Today I flew the A2A Stratocruiser from Idlewild to the new O'Hare field in Chicago. Maybe not really accurate to fly the B377 on such a short flight, but it's the only really good propliner we have so far, I can't wait for the PMDG DC-6! It was a generally uneventful flight, but a 105-knot headwind slowed me down a lot. The weather at O'Hare could have been better, with quite some turbulence and windshear. My first landing had to be aborted, the second time I came in with less flaps and slightly more speed. It was a hard landing, but I couldn't really make it any softer in those conditions. Addons used: - A2A Stratocruiser - FTX Global - SweetFX - REX - Opus…

As a follow on from this topic http://forum.avsim.net/topic/433231-berlin-scenery-generation/, I managed to get some more time today to work on my scenery generator. It now also generates building and roof textures based on information in OSM, and also now picks up complex park/forest relations. It's crazy how different people choose to map stuff around Europe, so I'm trying to make it support as much as possible. Anyway, I generated Berlin again and Warsaw, as I know these two cities have quite good information, like most European cities. Now to Warszawa. Some of the roof textures need some work, and some people have chosen really bright colours for some of…
