The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi there! A lot of good stuff happening lately: All the nice findings about cloud shadows, raleigh tweaks, the updated SAAB, and now the long awaited 3D cockpit for Peter Hager´s fantastic A321. Enjoy some pics of my flight from LOWW to EDDT into some really nasty weather, with low overcast clouds and heavy turbulence on approach:

Some shots from an online session in F86 Sabres. I'm Rob's (Great Ozzie) wingman for this mission. The object of this mission was for us to fly from Roseberg. OR to San Francisco and for me to land....safely. Mission failed! For the rest of it, I did manage to stay close. Not easy at 450kts!

Hi there! Because of the findings of fellow simmers here on AVSIM, I am having such a fantastic time flying in X-Plane! The new tweaks with the dataref editor make the very good X-Plane even better. For my taste, this is the most realistic scenery I´ve ever seen in all my years of simming! Here the addons I used: FF 777, OSM Europe + autogen, HD Mesh V2, UrbanMaxx 3D Please enjoy:

Hi everyone, I flew another long haul flight over the weekend using one of my all time favorite aircraft, the Airbus A340. This was something new for me though as I've never really flown out of Copenhagen before. Unfortunately, not that many scenery options for those of us still using FS9, so I had to make do with the freeware Swedflight rendition. It's quite dated and looks shabby compared to today's standards, but it'll have to do. Total flying time was just a shade under 11 hours. Parked at Gate C38 at Copenhagen Taxiing to the active Company CRJ on short finals And we're finally on the way! Finally out of the gloom and into the blue sky …

This previous commercial offering was released today as freeware. I was fortunate enough to see one these beauties perform an airshow routine 32 years ago at Barksdale AFB. It exhibited hair raising maneuvers at low altitude and very low airspeeds. It looked like it would fall out of the sky at any minute. It's a performance I'll never forget.

Hi all Today the weather finally cleared up in Florida and I got to fly my plane from KZPH to x50 for some avionics upgrades, in preparation I did a sim-flight using the same route in XPX last night. I took some comparative pics along the way. I am using XPX, Sky Maxx Pro, Raleigh tweaks(no cloud shadows), G2XPL photoscenery, and an add-on Carenado plane. I wish the X-aviation Falco would get upgraded to 64 bit since it closely replicates the plane I fly IRL. Departing KZPH northbound, someone was nice enough to populate the aiport. Settling into Cruise NE bound The far outskirts of the Orlando Metro area Just a nice pic of the…

I love the countryside, some of the most beautiful flying. Reliving a flight I took once on British Caledonian in 1984, my one and only flight on that airline and my one and only flight in a BAC-111... And the sim is FS2004, I created the scenery using FSEarthtiles... Regards, John

A lot of ice as we came over the North Sea, on approach to Barth, the Citation Mustang's windscreen and boot icing facilities were stretched to their limits. Safely on the ground now though.
