The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Some more pics from today with the Just Flight Canberra PR9: Climbing out from Kent International Airport - the former RAF Manston in north east Kent. Leaving the Kent coast heading towards France. Climbing over the English Channel with Pas-de-Calais approaching. After a big wide turn to port heading back towards Kent. North East Kent from 49,000ft. Just under the starboard wing on the coast are the towns of Herne Bay and Whitstable. Just forward and port of the nose is Canterbury. Passing over the Isle of Sheppey, just visible at the bottom of the pic. Underneath the clouds are the Medway Towns. 49,000ft over London. Such a good …

Enjoying more photoreal scenery I've created using FSEarthtiles. Some lovely scenery over Southern English countryside near London, and some scenery over the desert southwest. My biggest completed project is the entire state of Arizona stretching into parts of California, the Las Vegas Metro area, into parts of Mexico, and the Grand Canyon. I might try to upload it--what do you think? England is not ready because I am still learning how to prepare coastal areas and there's not a lot of documentation on that. The sim is FS2004, the sky environment (haze effect) is from my Avsim upload Soft Horizons. Who knew photoreal could look like this in FS2004. God bless the…

  18. As I added retro AI to my FS2004 world, I tried to find a sufficient repaint for the MD-11 in American Airlines' livery - growing tired of finding repaints where the repainter attempted a photorealistic look by stretching jpg images loaded with artifacts, to repaints with various detail related issues - from logo colors/sizes/fonts/kerning/etc to things like window counts, I did my own on the "UTT" MD-11. This was, however, before I learned about the stuff they were doing with the models others made, what was going on with them. I decided to finish it anyways since I put a lot of work into it. Since there were at least 2 configurations over the course of American op…

Decided to take my new repaint DA42 for a spin around my home lands. I know my setup and graphics are nothing on some peoples here, but it'll do for me. Pre flight checks at Stapleford (EGSG). Not really. But while you're here take a look at a pretty PA28 Archer G-SOBI. Built in1976, it was registered as D-EAQL in a previous life. Spent some time operated by Northern Aviation / Cleveland Flying School. Where it is now I can't discover. From photographs taken in 2013 though, she is certainly pampered! Real one: and another one for luck.. And my paint of it.. Sorry if I dragged you in here under false pretences, you dirty little sods! B) On AVSIM soon/now depending on when you read this.
