The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

On April 18 1942 one of the most daring and brave Naval and Air Operations commenced aboard The USS Hornet [CVN-8].America and President Roosevelt, still reeling after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor were desperate for positive news on the war front. Roosevelt and his Military advisors devised a battle plan that would strike deep in the heart of Japan.but it would be very, very risky.Lead by Lt Colonel James Doolittle The Tokyo Raid would call for 80 volunteer Air men and 16 Medium range bombers,B-25B Mitchell's,stripped of weaponry, radio equipment and even it's famed Norden Bomb sight to lighten weight to launch off the deck of The Hornet. The bombers were…

Hey folks, it's been quite a while since I posted here on this Screenshots forum, as my screenshots tend to be of poor quality, like this one is! This was taken on descent to Dubai! ADDONS USED PMDG 777 FTX GLOBAL 1.10 REX w/ OD I just love this shot because I get this fantastic sun to the right, and that pink/orange/yellow highlighting the mountains. On the edges of the wing, it's possible to see that pink outline as well.

Browsing the forums it seems like the FeelThere model has more system depth and better FPS than the Carenado. But this one sure is pretty...I find it a tad expensive for the system depth (or lack of) offered. It actually looks better in my FSX Acceleration than in P3DV2.2 Hope you like.... Thanks for looking

G-AKTH started life in 1945 as 45-4471,(military?) then off to The Netherlands as PH-UCR. Moved just up the road to Belgium wearing OO-ACL. Finally to Blighty as G-AKTH. Where she is kept busy. Only one AAIB to her name in which the pilot admitted he was looking elsewhere when he ran into a 'tall electrical power supply pole'! Which goes to show that even with 3500 hours under your belt, and a commercial pilots licence, you are not infallible! Anyway, the real one: My efforts: For the purposes of this narrative these shots were taken in Scotland, mainly because I couldn't think of a good reason why she's flying around Tipella! …
